Hands down, this is one of the best brunch spots in Clovis! I absolutely loved the platter I ordered. I would come back just for that alone. We also had the sweetest hostess, I believe her name was Sarah. She was so kind and welcoming, so if you get the chance, definitely ask for her! The deviled eggs and French toast were so stinking good. I also ordered a side of the braised short rib with mashed potatoes. It wasn't my favorite, but everything else more than made up for it. I was there with a small group of friends, and the service was excellent. Our food came out quickly, everything was organized, and we never felt rushed. Visited this place again, this time to try out the lunch items. We again arrived on an event day, they were having a Mamma Mia bingo event that you could purchase tickets for. The events take up the main dining room which leaves regular guests in a small side dining room or outdoors. It was way too hot to sit outside so we opted for a high top table in the small side room. The food was again, great! The buffalo wings were crispy and had a generous about of sauce. The fried zucchini coins were served with a tasty aioli. My roast beef dip sandwich was served on a soft roll and they did not skimp on the meat. However, as I experienced in my previous visit, service during their bingo events is just not good. Our server was so bubbly and friendly, no complaints there. But after the event started, she was gone for stretches of time. At the end of our meal, it was ultimately another server that asked if we needed boxes. I actually passed our server on my way to the restroom and saw her in the event space so I'm not sure if she had extra duties there. I feel like there should be servers that are specifically assigned to serve the regular customers during their events. If I happened to come by during another event, I would probably choose somewhere else to eat. read more

I am always around this area and I've never seen or heard about this restaurant. Came here by word-of-mouth and it was amazing. The food was really delicious very flavorful. Service was a ten. The hostess and waitress were so welcoming. And I think we've met the owner of the restaurant which I am just assuming. Sweet lady greeted us while we're eating and on the way out. Ambience is a nice cool place to sit and have breakfast lunch or dinner. Love the cool air love the dark with a perfect bit of light at each table. Will I come again? Yes I will. Love island is here for the summer and what better way than to kick it off at Ten Tavern. This event was so much fun. Every seat was filled! The vibes were vibing! I had French toast for dinner. It was golden and delicious. The fruit was ripe and fresh. It actually paired well with the cocktails. If I could I would have tried them all. All of the staff worked like a well oiled machine. I was impressed how fast orders were being brought out with the full house. Ten tavern is killing it for food, drinks and vibes. I loved that the owner greeted the crowd. They even let us switch out our lunch pick last minute with no problem..they kept our bottomless mimosas coming and the owner was so sweet! Overall it was a great experience! Decided to try this place out on Saturday night and was impressed with overall experience with service and atmosphere. I think every Saturday they have live music from 6:30 - 9:30. It's usually someone playing the classic rock/alt rock songs so it was nice to hear. It wasn't too loud so you could still hear people from your table. Avocado Burger - this was a hefty burger. The burger itself was decently seasoned and had a very good charr flavor which I enjoyed. The bacon was crispy and the brioche bun was super buttery which I loved. Overall just a good overall burger. Sauce was good but even that couldn't save the chicken. Pancakes were very cakey and again dry.. I would probably have needed a stick of butter to add some moisture into them. Chilaquiles were basically nachos. Decent flavor overall but still lacked oomph. They said it was ribeye but I'm pretty sure it was not cause it came as ground meat. Most likely won't be back. My husband and I have eaten here several times in the past and everything was fine. Tonight was different. We did not know prior to arriving that we had arrived for dinner while they were having a bingo night. Seating was limited to outside patio (100°) or in what normally is their private dining area. There were a couple of occupied tables, so I figured they had staff to cover the area. We waited quite a while for our table, and then another quite a while for water, a server, and our food. The food/drinks were good. Then waited a long while for the check. About halfway through our meal, the event ended and then the employees were busy moving all of the furniture out of the room where we were seated. I was actually surprised they didn't try to take our table out from under us, since ours was the only one left to be switched out by the time we finished our food. It was very chaotic with employees constantly walking past us carrying tables and chairs. If we had been celebrating a special occasion, I would've walked out before our food arrived, which is something I normally would never consider doing. I really think they need to be "closed for event" during these times. They did not have enough servers to cover the larger number of people in the main area plus the handful of tables in the private dining area. (Nothing against our server, she did what she could). Really a shame since Fresno/clovis is lacking in good restaurants. read more

Came here for dinner recently, it wasn't that busy - they asked if we were okay to sit outside so we could get seated sooner, we agreed. To get outside and the table and seats were still dirty.. host came back and put utensils on the table still after we told them the table was dirty. It took a minute for someone to come out and check on us and even take a drink order.. ordered one of the strawberry salads and it was pretty good and refreshing, the vodka pasta came out cold and was bland. Not sure if that's how it's supposed to be served? The server did not come back to check on us to see how we were doing, or refill our waters as well. Would not be coming back here :) read more

We came here for a quick dinner before going to a Bulldog game. We are a huge lunch and wanted something lighter for dinner and this place wasn't too far from the stadium and had a variety of options. Ten Tavern is located in Willow Station shopping center. It was pretty busy on a Saturday night but we were able to get seated right away. The hostess was super friendly and helped get a table clean right away. Our server was very friendly and sweet but wasn't around a lot. I ordered a Cobb salad and added chicken and my bf got a wedge salad. My salad had an unexpectedly generous portion of chicken and it was delicious. My bf also enjoyed his salad. The prices were reasonable and service was good for the most part. I really wanted to like this place, but unfortunately the experience fell short. The restaurant felt very hectic and disorganized from the moment we arrived. There were plenty of open tables, yet we still had to wait about 15 minutes to be seated, which didn't make much sense. Maybe they were short staff but it seemed like they had plenty of servers. At the bar, we were told we could get happy hour pricing, and we made sure to mention that to our waitress. However, when the bill came, those prices weren't honored, which was frustrating and felt like a breakdown in communication. The overall atmosphere felt chaotic--honestly, if I didn't know they've been around for a long time, I would have assumed they had just opened. The table next to us sat empty for about 45 minutes without being cleaned, and our own table was noticeably wobbly, which didn't help the experience. As for the food, it was just okay--nothing memorable. Service was mediocre at best, and given everything else, it didn't make up for the issues. Hoping this was just an off night, but based on this visit, it wasn't a great experience. We won't be trying again as there are better options around that are less expensive. read more

Came here for brunch on a Sunday. My bf suggested it because he heard a lot of great things. Definitely did not disappoint. Our waitress was great. Always checked on us. Really friendly. My go to order for drink is a whiskey sour and this is probably the best whiskey sour I've had in Fresno. It's sweet, sour, and strong. Right up my alley. I honestly don't remember the name of the dish I ordered. It was a chicken biscuit which a jalapeño gravy with taters and scrambled eggs. Man oh man. This is a heavy dish but it was realllyyy good. The fried chicken has a bit of sweetness to it--which seems odd because why would fried chicken be sweet butttt it pairs really well with the jalapeno gravy on top. Packed with flavor. The breakfast burrito wasn't my favorite. It was a chorizo. Maybe I just don't like the flavor of chorizo. But my bf really enjoyed it. Overall it was all tasty. Highly recommend. Wow! I really enjoyed my dinner here tonight. We came in on Twilight bingo night and the bar/ dining area was packed. Despite my feelings about the Twilight movies, I decided to give this place a shot anyway. We were seated in the warm and inviting patio area. What a great outdoor dining experience. Ten Tavern had a few IPA choices on tap to choose from and that is what I started with. For my entree , I ordered the BLTA on their multi grain bread. As my side dish, I opted for the tater tots -because who doesn't like tots? My wife opted for the short rib tacos and those things were so damn tasty! There is a subtle nice spicy kick to them that brings everything together. I would highly recommend them! I was lurking and spying on the food that was served to the table behind us and damn that burger looked tasty. As we were leaving, I asked the gentleman if the burger was as good as it looked and he said it absolutely was. I can't wait to come back! The food is fresh, and the environment is lively and welcoming. Our server was really nice and our food came out hot and relatively quickly- even with all the Twilight fans there. 5 stars from me and a huge anticipation to try more menu items. Wow, I just left this place for lunch with my family & it was extremely underwhelming. The service, the food, everything. We waited 25-30 min to be seated outside even though they weren't that busy, ok that's fine. However, the service was extremely off the mark. The server took a WHILE to bring us our food and even take our order. My real issue though, was the fact that they didn't bring my 3 year olds food at all until we were literally leaving. She ended up sharing her cousin's kids plate because they didn't bring her tenders!! The only one not eating was my 3 year old daughter, I was furious. Absolutely unacceptable. My surf & turf tacos were bland & MID at best. I honestly wish I would've sent them back but I was starving. She also never brought the kids juices included with their meals, never checked in after dropping off the food, or brought the side salad that was ordered with my tacos instead of the fries .. I understand she's likely learning still but she obviously needs more training before just being thrown out there! She also had to split our tab 3x before we could actually pay cause it wasn't being done correctly. At one point she even brought one that was for a whole other table .. Overall we spent about 2 hrs here & it wasn't a good experience at all! $55 for bad service, bland tacos and a burger?? Ridiculous, I would never come back here or recommend it. read more

I was super excited about coming here to try their charcuterie board! It just looks so appetizing! Came here for brunch on a Sunday, and it was football Sunday so it was pretty busy. We ordered the grilled steak salad and charcuterie board. It took about 35 mins for our food to come out, which I felt was a bit long. The grilled steak salad was very good. Right down my alley on what a steak salad is. Steak was cooked to my liking , the salad was well dressed with balsamic glaze. Super filling dish. The charcuterie board looks amazing, but the toast was quite stale unfortunately, the quiches were alright, but the rest of the items were delicious. I especially loved the deviled eggs and the French toast on there. Service was alright, we weren't checked on at all after we received our order. It's a lively place, sound it moderate to loud. Came here for a birthday dinner. The restaurant accommodated the 20 person guest list in a room separated from the rest of the restaurant. The room also had a TV that we were able to control (we just played music videos) and the waiter/ waitresses were great. The only thing I would change is that they kept the door on the separated room open for other patrons and kept the other doors in the restaurant closed so it made it feel less private and everyone walked right through the party to get to the other side of the restaurant. My only suggestion would be to use the main door instead of the side door for the private party. Drinks were great! But food was eh. I ordered from the specials menu and got short ribs , mashed potatoes and asparagus (pictured ) and it was honestly pretty bland besides the garlicky mashed potatoes. Kind of a let down for it being almost $40 so I would pass on that if you were interested. Tried some of my friends pizza and tater tot nachos and I'm glad I didn't order those as they too were not super great. Service was hands down awesome, but can't say I would crave the food again. I came to yelp looking for Mother's Day ideas and realized I haven't updated my review. I've now come several times and love the food each time we come. Our service is always nice and attentive. The ambiance is lively and open which can be appreciated. If you want a bit of a quieter experience there's an outside patio or a back banquet room. They have fun nights where they offer experiences such as bingo, sing along, paint nights, galentine's, etc. I have yet to be able to go but I look forward to it. I have not done brunch yet either. Ever since the Yelp event they had there I wanted to comeback and try some food As soon as we enter we're greeted and sad down. The waitress was very helpful and nice. We ordered a burger and the cauliflower tacos. They come with a side and we got the fries. My daughter love her burger. She said it was juicy and tasty. I loved my tacos they were spicy and yummy. The fries were in point too. Everything look freshly made and I love that. They have plenty of room inside and outside. The place looks inviting and comfy. There is plenty of parking with outside the restaurant. They offer craft beer and cocktails. A very nice place for a girls night out. This was such a fun and cute event. My coworkers and I were looking for something to do for Galentines and this was perfect! It sells out quickly so you have to purchase your tickets ASAP for the day of the event you want to attend especially if it's a big holiday. Their website has more bingo events and other events like paint nite or cookie decorating. It's such a fun environment. Vanessa is legit the hostess with the mostest. By far the best energy ever. She gets you pumped up for the games. We received tickets for a drawing that came with the purchase of the event. The prizes they were giving were really good! My friend won with her ticket and got a $50 gift card that had multiple restaurants you can choose to use it at. I absolutely love this place and vibe. We're already planning to get more of us together for another bingo date there! 10/10 recommend this place. read more

Decided to try to place around 2pm on a Thursday. It was not busy and is a cute restaurant with lots of seat but a little close together near towards the bar area. Food is a little pricey but definitely worth it. We only did appetizers and a pizza. Appetizers are LARGE, definitely shareable for groups and reasonable for the price. Drinks: - Honey Bee Mocktail: nonalcoholic whiskey, honey lavender, lime, topped with gingerbeer. This was delicious, it's served in a short glass, perfeclty sweet with a slight hint of citrus, tastes like I was walking through a garden, LOVED! Food: - Spicy Cauliflower Bites: veryyy delicious, cauliflower was a little mushy but makes sense since it is lightly battered and likely deep fried. Slightly heavy on buffalo sauce but personally I love that. Topped with blue cheese which was delicious and always balances well with buffalo sauce. ($13) - Tavern Wings: we of course went with buffalo and the wings are GIGANTIC! Served with fries and fresh veggie sticks, ranch + ketchup. Wings were crunchy and juicy, perfect amount of sauce. This could definitely be an entree or good for friends.($19) - Spicy Sausage Pizza: beautiful crispy thin crust, white sauce, thinly sliced tomatoes, red onions, and basil. Nice small chunks of sausage topped with LOTS of mozzarella and blue cheese. This was BOMB! Very flavorful and cheesy, only issue is that since it was heavy on the cheese it is a pretty oily, but I love cheese so I wouldn't complain. These are all shareable and great sized portions for the price. My best friends and I attended their Galentine's Night which included Dinner and a Comedy Show. The restaurant did a fantastic job setting the vibe and atmosphere. We were seated right away. We had a blast taking pictures using their lights & camera which was free that we can send to our phones instantly. The food was absolutely amazing. I got the Braised Short Ribs, my two friends ordered the Smothered Chicken and Vodka Sauce Pasta. For dessert we got the NY Cheesecake, Blueberry Bread Pudding, and Cookies w/Ice Cream (Reminds me of a Pizookie). Dessert was heavenly. Once again let's play a game of guess what beer we might actually have because our menus are not up to date and we have no bar manager to keep tabs on what is in stock. Once again extremely short staffed and unable to service tables in a timely manner. One waitress trying to help 8 tables. This place has great potential but so poorly managed it isn't a fun dining experience. Shouldn't take this long to get someone to come over to only sit and try and figure out what you want to drink because their bar is one of the worst in all of Fresno as far as what's in stock.
