Ok this place is always on point for a quick sandwich with flavor and freshness. I get the medium hot Bobbie with no mayo and extra cranberry sauce. My sandwich came out piping hot. They even gave me an extra cranberry sauce and it was the perfect amount. I always get their Diet Pepsi with a splash of their vanilla soda. A TV commercial for a new Angus Cheese Steak at Arby's made me hungry for this item, but NOT from Arby's (having already had one subpar experience there this year). So I Yelp-searched "Best Cheesesteak" and Capriotti's came up. They had a couple of favorable reviews and I decided to try a Small (8") Wagyu Cheese Steak with both sweet and hot peppers and without mushrooms. The sesame roll was soft and tender, well-filled with tasty, tender beef, enough grilled onions & peppers to be spicy, and melted cheese (but could use more). This was the most authentic and delicious cheesesteak I've had South of the Bay Area. The facility was clean with plenty of inside seating. Service was prompt and friendly (although lunchtime parking is inadequate - blame the developer-property owner!). I will return (and ask for extra cheese next time!). My one visit encouraged me to possibly even try another sandwich offering. read more

YUM! I've had Capriotti's on multiple occasions and it smacks every time. I got the Capastrami my first time and haven't looked back since! Pros: My sandwich was tasty and hot! I had the chicken bacon ranch. The cashier was friendly. The restaurant was pretty clean compared to many quick service establishments. Cons: The kids meals comes with Craisins and a bottle of water. There is no option for chips or a small fountain drink. I had to ask for the Craisins after she brought our food and they were in a dirty package. Also, the cashier was the only employee and was on break when we arrived. She took our order but said she would have to ring me up in 5 minutes when her break ended. She started making our sandwiches in the meantime, but I don't like that her employer is putting her in the position to work off the clock. That's illegal; shame on you! read more

I love Italian subs also, but this one was just missing something. They both were. Lacking flavor I suppose. The meatball though! Meatballs were perfect, soft and juicy, the marinara was spot on perfect! Not too much seasoning, the sauce was the right consistency of thick and a little wet to help those meatballs. Bread held everything perfectly! Each bite was better than the last. We found our winner! The only thing my wife and I were split on, was if we would come back here again. My wife is a huge meatball sub fan, so her answer was automatically "yes!". Mine was mixed. I probably would, but if I had a choice of coming here or somewhere else, I would probably choose the latter. If I was ever craving a meatball I would definitely stop here! Wow, what a difference from coming here two days ago. We were so impressed by the food and service on Wednesday that we came back on Friday (1/6/23). This was a totally different crew, and they earned 2 stars rather than the 5 we gave on Wednesday. I asked for two things; cut the chipolte sandwich in thirds, and put some spicy peppers on the side. I got neither. Thanks a lot! If the chicken chipolte had any chipolte sauce on it, I would be surprised. The chicken was good, but it needed more (some) sauce. We were sharing the 18" sandwich with three of us, so cutting it in quarters made it a hassle. The Cole Turky reminds you of a tuna sandwich. It was ok, but I wouldn't try that again. One thing to realize is that their chicken is shredded, hence the tuna description. Just to set the proper expectations. Even the bread wasn't as good as last time. Stopped in for the first time on 4/17 around 3:30pm for a late lunch. I told the gal at the counter it was my first time and she was very helpful in explaining what their most popular sandwiches were. I think her name was Elizabeth. Great first impression as customer service was impressive. Interior of the shop was very clean. Decided on the Classic Italian (medium) and took it back to my hotel room. The sandwich was very good. Fair amount of meat, bread was soft and held up well, tomatoes and onions were thinly sliced and speckled with herbs. I was trying to compare from memory with Jersey Mike's Italian sandwich which has been my 'go to' sandwich. I think they are fairly similar in taste, quality and price. My Capriotti could probably have used a bit more vinegar but overall was very good. I'll be back again soon to try one of their cheese steak sandwiches or the Capastrami. Will include Capriotti's into my lunch rotation when in Fresno. Definitely recommend if you're a sandwich guy like me. read more

I was excited to go there was my first time, I ordered a sandwich with wheat bread. She said they had no wheat only white. I had a turkey sandwich a 10 inch with a medium drink and a bag of chips. I paid $23 and change when I looked at my receipt, I noticed that I was charged $.40 per slice of cheese, the sandwich was lousy. Had little toppings on there and little turkey for $23. I came across this place on a trip to Reno several years ago. I seen they had the best sandwich in America. Well I had that sandwich today and it didn't disappoint! I got a bite of some Thanksgiving goodness on a beautiful February day! I had mine warmed up, highly recommend. I got the smallest one and split it with my mom and felt pretty satisfied with that amount. My husband had they waygu sloppy sandwich(I think that's the name). It has pastrami and coleslaw with cheese, very good! What I really love was the bread they use. It's one type of roll and you don't have to choose from some many options! We didn't add or take away from the sandwiches and just ate it the way it was intended. On a side note, the place was very clean and they were friendly to me! But the people in front of me weren't being treated as friendly. I'm not sure what happened but they were super brief and annoyed by them. But maybe there was a weird exchange right before I came in? It did make me a little uncomfortable when they asked for napkins and they let them know they handed them out. But didn't offer any? Weird. That's also a strange rule. I'm sure if you needed more they would provide them but napkins shouldn't be treated like a rare commodity. Really clean and staff was friendly and fast. We had a cold Bobbie (the Thanksgiving sandwich I call it), and it was exactly as I hoped. Real turkey,light buttery mayo, cranberry sauce, and a generous amount of stuffing. Hubs had the Wagyu Cheesesteak with fried sweet peppers.
