I ordered a light puffy croissant with a little butter on it. They then smashed it flare and gave it to me cold. The two people doing h prep seemed uncomfortable and unhappy.

Stopped here for lunch while in DC and was really impressed with the quality of food. It's always difficult being on vacation- you never want to repeat places, well, at least I don't. I like the idea of trying new things, but I wouldn't be mad trying this place again. Walk in and you're bumping into the ordering area. Deli Zique features a variety of salads, wraps, and sandwiches (both lunch and breakfast). I felt like the ordering convention was a little mixed up. People kept leaving and coming back into line. They handed me food that wasn't mine- before I even ordered. Free snack? Nope. I gave the food to it's rightful owner and then ordered my own. I tried their chicken salad on a roll. You can pick from a variety of different bread options. The bread was fresh and the chicken salad was really good. You can tell it hadn't sat long. Nothing is worse than questionable mayonnaise products. I paid, grabbed my fountain soda in the island where all that stuff was located (drink, napkins and so forth). The dining area was small and tidy, not overly clean, but definitely not a mess. The manager was there and was really friendly. One of those guys who you can tell loves his job which is nice. It is definitely a good lunch spot if you're in the area.

This place is located pretty close to where I work so in the event I forget to bring lunch and it's too cold/hot outside to walk for long, then I'll come in here to get a gyro. I tried their beef brisket sandwich before and it was too dry for my liking, but after having tried their gyro, I liked coming here much more. The gyro is solid with plenty of sliced meat that's salty and tender, and they give plenty of lettuce, tomatoes, onions, and most importantly tzatziki sauce so it tastes fine. I do feel the food is a little overpriced but it is what it is. I would probably get the gyro from the food truck but the location for this spot makes it more convenient for me to get it from here. Also, the lines move quick so that's good.

I've visited only for breakfast on my trips to DC. Nothing fancy but a solid spot for a hearty breakfast sandwich.

Here's the latest and greatest vendor list from 2023: Timber Pizza - Scrumptious wood-fired pizza with a pillowy soft crust. I can't count on how many fingers and toes I've had the pizza at different farmer's markets! While the lines can get long 12:30pm, you only have to wait for 15 minutes. Taco Dirty To Me: Crispy battered cauliflower tempura tacos, bursting with flavor! Bun'd' Up - Delicious fried tofu and mushroom in squishy soft bao buns topped with microgreens, scallions, and a nice creamy aioli sauce. Light and tasty! Urban+ade - Refreshing lemonade with less sugar than classic lemonade. The Sage & Tarragon is my favorite! Veg Heaven - Decadent sweet treats, the dark chocolate cookies and brownies are the best! While the cakes are moist, they aren't as tasty. Taco Loco - Giant burritos are amazing! There's a swarm of people waiting in line, so be prepared to wait 10-15 min before ordering and then another 5 min for your order! The mango and watermelon juice are refreshing. Hipp Sippin' - Cold-pressed juices and acai bowls made to order. Ravenhook Bakery - Great selection of freshly baked loaves of bread and baked goods. DMV Empanadas - They sell out fast! While the empanadas has a nice crispy hard shell and with so many flavors to choose from, they are a bit bland and overloaded with bland cheese. The Spinach and Cheese or the Bacon and Cheese didn't quite hit the spot, hubby like the Chicken. Al Volo Cucina: While I wasn't a big fan of the greasy eggplant parm subs. I wish they brought back the fresh juices (the watermelon and mango juices) were amazing! Wonderful market with plenty of delicious and diverse options to choose from. There is metered street parking and commercial lots/garages within a reasonable walking distance from here. They serve wraps, salads, and cold and hot sandwiches. I ordered the Korean Steak Sandwich. It took them about 10 to 15 minutes to prepare my sandwich. They should use a number system for order pickups because people, including myself, had difficulty determining which order they were serving. Many of the sandwich names sounded alike. My sandwich was kind of small for the price, and it wasn't very filling. It was, however, very good. It was flavorful and packed with flavor. The service was ok. It was nothing special. They did their job and did not go beyond or be overly friendly. All in all, I would recommend checking this deli out for some really good sandwiches. If you're hungry and near by, sure go get it but don't make any special trips just for this wrap. Id love to try their other options on the menu at some point!

They are happy to recommend beer for your taste, and let you sample. It can be very busy and difficult to get a seat at the bar or get a table on a Friday or Saturday evening. We ordered food, and were expecting elevated bar food. The tater tots were a huge disappointment- they were very large squares , bland, and not crispy. The wings were okay. I visited as part of the full experience -- dinner downstairs at Birch & Barley, then up to Churchkey for drinks -- and honestly, it's one of the best evenings I've had in DC. Churchkey itself is everything a great bar should be. The beer selection is absolutely unreal -- hundreds of carefully curated labels spanning every style, region, and flavor profile you can imagine. What sets it apart is that the staff actually knows the menu. Our server walked us through a few options based on what we liked and landed us on perfect picks both times. That kind of genuine expertise is rare. The tavern pizzas from the wood-fired oven were a wonderful surprise -- thin, crispy, and the perfect companion to a cold draft. The smash burger also deserves a mention: simple, well-executed, and hits the spot. The vibe is warm and lively without being overwhelming. Great for a date, a group, or even just sitting at the bar solo with a good beer and good conversation with the bartender. This place has earned its reputation as one of the best beer bars on the East Coast -- and then some. Highly recommend making a full night of it with both floors. You won't regret it.
