Chicken Caesar Wrap
Kandis M.

3.5 stars! This is a great location and they are super quick with making your food & checking you out! I came here after seeing a lot online about their Chicken Caesar Wrap. Personally, don't think the hype meets the expectations. But with that said, it's still a good wrap and I'd get it again but I don't think it's the best wrap I've had or worth going out of your way for. If you're hungry and near by, sure go get it but don't make any special trips just for this wrap. Id love to try their other options on the menu at some point!

Wow, the sandwiches were really good! The staff were friendly and welcoming. We're from out of town and wanted a light lunch, and these sandwiches were perfect. We got to enjoy them outside, with a beautiful park and surrounding buildings right across from us. We ordered the Pastrami Melt, the Pastrami & Corned Beef Melt, and one more (can't remember, but it was good too!). The pastrami sandwiches were delicious. The place can get pretty crowded, but the line moves quickly. Most people order takeout, though they do offer some seating both inside and outside.

The name says it all!! This is the best sandwich place in dc. And I will rarely get anything other than the chicken Caesar salad wrap! It's hands down the best and biggest of its kind you'll ever have. They don't mess around in there and they crank out the sandwiches during lunch hour, but the staff has always been really friendly. It is always crowded, but that's when you know it's a go to weekday lunch spot. My only complaint is that they aren't open on weekends!!

Italian Chicken and Cheese Steak Hot Sub

Hey friends! As everyone else says. This place lives up to the name! It really was the best sandwich! I ordered the Italian Cheesesteak with a bag of chips($16). First of all, I really do appreciate finding a quality meal under $20 in DC! The sandwich was amazing! The bread was perfectly toasted and all the flavors came together beautifully. The sandwich had the right amount of sauce to not compromise the toast of the bread. Will order it again! Customer service was good. Bathroom was clean. Paid street parking is available out front. I'm often in the area for work so I will be a repeat customer. Hope you enjoy! With love, The Picky Pescatarian

We stopped here for lunch today and they had the best tuna sub sandwich I've ever had. A couple of my work colleagues had been here before, but today was my first time. I was amazed to see how extensive their menu is and so many of their sub sandwiches caught my attention. I couldn't find calorie listings but I'm sure that the tuna sandwich seemed to be the most healthiest by far. They also have some great juice and I purchased an orange mango fruit drink. The service was fast, but there was a wait to be seated, so we took our food to go. We all sat at a nearby park and had lunch there. I would love to try their grilled chicken sandwich the next I come here.

Had a solo meal here recently, and needing a rather quick dash in and out this fast-casual style spot fir the bill perfectly. Longish line to order, but it moved fairly rapidly and efficiently. I ordered one of their more popular choices, the crispy chicken melt. As the weather was decent, I sat at one of the small streetside / outside tables to enjoy the hot sammie. It came served on a crispy sourdough roll filled with a baked chicken breast, topped with garlic sun-dried tomato pesto and melted provolone cheese. It was hearty and filling and did the trick. Would love to try other sandwich varieties on my next visit.

The internet definitely hyped this wrap. I'm an avid Caesar Salad guy and this was pretty subpar. Nothing amazing. Not wrapped tight. Basic Caesar salad in a wrap. I at least expected a spinach wrap. The line was long. Took about 20 minutes. They actually forgot one of the sandwiches I ordered that was listed on the paper. I won't be back.

Stopped in while visiting DC to get their famous chicken ceasar wrap. At least 3 people in line behind me did the same thing. It was tasty for sure and a lot of food but not life changing the way I would have hoped! Would come back to try other sandwiches though!

Portobello Mushroom Melt
Kikue H.

This really is The Best Sandwich Place. If you're looking for lunch in DC, you've gotta stop by. The portobello melt comes with provolone and fig jam which go together so well with the nice smoky flavor of the mushrooms. Not to mention the freshly toasted sourdough bread it's packaged in. And the banh mi was quite possibly one of the best I've ever had -- definitely not traditional but definitely delicious. The sriracha mayo adds the spice, the daikon slaw is sweet and tangy and the pork meatballs are so juicy and add so much wonderful umami flavor. With how packed it was at lunch time, it seems like everything else on the menu is just as good. It's also pretty reasonably priced for DC which was a major plus!

Ever since I started working in D.C. this is my place to go for lunch (yes i am poor now). It's ALWAYS busy and the owners are super adorable. It's so financial district coded as the food is done quickly and you get exactly what you ask for. I've tried their salads and sandwiches which are all great. Their buffalo chicken salad is my favorite but I have yet to venture out of the caesar world. It's a very clean environment and feels like any modern cafe. A place to be with the busy people of DC.

We had three various appetizers from the cool ranch onion rings to the Seattle fries with a mix of dope beet salad in there. All were good, the onion rings were definitely my favorite and judging by all the orders I saw around, it was everyone else's as well. The mains were the RPG and the fish special. The RPG was a bit heavy on the mayo, next time would ask for less mayo but it was still delicious as a char su pork fan. This hit the mark. The fish sandwich was tangy and spicy which made it delicious. It was a bit messy and the bun didn't hold up great but that didn't detract from the flavors. I heard good things about their sandwiches. My go to is normally Mangialardo's on Pennsylvania Ave in SE DC or Carl's Subbs on Rhode Island Ave in NE DC. I think I will stick to both of them next time. The staff was very friendly and helpful to me as a first timer but the sandwich was totally disapointing! NOT worth it, at all. I ordered a 9 inch capicola, ham, and cheese sub on the hard roll. The roll was very good and fresh but I couldn't taste the cheese or meat in the sandwich because there wasn't enough of it. I tasted the bread, the toppings of lettuce, tomato and onions. I decided to deconstruct the sandwich and found exactly 4 very thinly sliced pieces of meat and 2 very thinly sliced pieces of cheese as pictured clearly in the photographs. I also noticed that the they have different prices for the same type of meats. For example, they have a $29.99 per pound Capicola and one for $9.99 a pound. I asked which went on the sandwich and of course it was the cheaper one. That wasn't surprising and getting my sandwich back to the office. I decided not to eat the rest of the meatless sandwich and just take the loss. I wouldn't come back nor would I recommend a friend to try it

The Crunchy Boi is probably their most popular sandwich and it's lighter than you would think considering it's filled with potato chips. I think it's worth trying once. The Marisa Tomei, on the other hand, has never failed me. It's balanced with an absurd amount of arugula against the meat, and it's never dry. The portions are generous, like you could definitely split it into two meals, but they're not so heavy that you couldn't finish a sandwich in one sitting.
