    "Western Omelette"

I ordered a western omelette from here through door dash. The menu indicates ham and cheese and as pictures, you can see that all I got was cold eggs with vegetables. I even asked to be charged for extra cheese and received nothing. There was an issue and the initial dasher never picked up my food as confirmed by door dash. It appears that they just gave the next delivery person the same food that had been sitting and waiting for pickup for over an hour. The food was ice cold and the avocado was brown. They either gave me bad spoiled avocado, or the avocado turned brown because it was left steaming in a food container before the transition into iced eggs.

    Spicy Dwaegi (Pork) Bulgogi

I stopped in today (8/12/2020) to grab some lunch since it's right around the corner from my office. Cornerstone used to have a salad bar buffet and hot food buffet (breakfast and lunch) pre-COVID (which was ALL delicious) but they had to change their offerings due to COVID. I was pleased to see that they still have their sandwiches, but what I really liked is that they now offer pre-made Korean platters and rice bowls. I decided to try the Spicy Dwaegi (Pork) Bulgogi and it did not disappoint! You get SO much food in one platter. Mine came with rice, bulgogi, steamed veggies, 2 pieces of shrimp that come with a creamy spicy sauce,, 2 chicken dumplings, grilled veggies, jap chae, an egg omelette, and kimchi/radish. Everything was super fresh and delicious. They also have other flavors (Salmon and Chicken Katsu platters among others) and Chicken rice bowls. The staff is really nice too and shout-out to Kookie, the owner! I will definitely be back to try the rice bowls and other platters. If you are in the Logan Circle area, you should definitely check Cornerstone out!

Absolutely amazing food here, especially for the price! The bentos are around $11-$13 and they give you SO MUCH FOOD! The salmon is delicious and tastes super fresh. The teriyaki sauce is one of the best I've tried. We came on a Wednesday morning and the owners were super sweet, even though we had to wait a little longer than usual (only 20 minutes though). She offered us tea or coffee! The next week we came, she saw we brought friends so she gave us a couple extra wings. During this scary time, I try to support as much local business as I can. Coming from a college student, I can tell you this place is 100% worth your time and money.

    Beef Bulgogi Kup-Bop

Had a blugogi kup-bop for my lunch and got really pleased with it. Blugogi on top, lettuce, tomato, korean sweet radish, beansprouts and some black beans underneath, and rice at the bottom. Oh and chopped korean traditional noodle in it too. The portion is more than enough for my appetite, nutrion is well balanced, and the best part is that it's just delicious. Loved it. A little cafe is also there. I had an iced mocha. :) liked it.

A little over $7.50 from the food bar

There's a lot of selection at this food bar, all arranged neatly and well organized. Some options when I was here ranged from salad, roasted veggies, soup, BBQ, to more Chinese buffet foods such as egg rolls and orange chicken. Prices are by the pound, and we were full after eating our trays of food which were about $8-9 dollars. The food itself tasted fresh and I love the variety here. Overall a good place for a lot of variety and if you want a quick meal.

    Bacon, Egg & Cheese Croissants

I love this cafe! The food is tasty and the price is extremely affordable. Probably one of the cheapest lunch deli/hot food bars in DC. Breakfast consists of a full hot bar of things such as: bacon, sausage, potatoes, omelets, burritos, hash browns, french toast and a bunch of other stuff, as well as a full salad bar. The made-to-order sandwiches are great as well. I usually get the bacon, egg and cheese sandwich and if I get it on a croissant (extra $$) and add avocado (extra $$), my sandwich is still only around $5 with tax. Lunch is great as well. Full salad bar and a large selection of food at the hot bar. The food is typically "Chinese" food (fried rice, lo mein, sweet and sour chicken, etc.) but also some American food as well, such as pulled pork, fried chicken and mac and cheese. They also have a lot of grilled vegetables. Come here after 3:00 for half-price everything from the hot bar and salad bar. Oh yeah and the best part about this place is that there is no credit card minimum!

Guys, this Bulgogi Bento Box is legit bigger than my laptop... so big, so good!

The shop does get very busy and there is not much seating. It's best to take the items to-go. There will also be a constant line, but I find my wait time start to finish is less than 10 minutes on most days. Their bagels are fresh daily and the egg and cheese bagels are packed full with freshly prepared ingredients. I've had their lox and scallion cream cheese many times and they will put 2x the amount of cream cheese to lox - you may want to request for them to go light on this if you like to have more balance. I would also say that for butter on bagel you might want to ask for it on the side. I say this only because the melted butter is everywhere inside the wrapper and can drip out. I love their iced coffee and the fact that they always have simple syrup on their self-serve station. It is a milder coffee which I enjoy.

Everything was fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. You can tell why it's so popular. Pro tip: order ahead on the Toast app -- we did that and were able to skip the line completely, which made things so much easier since it gets really busy. Only suggestion: would LOVE to see a jalapeño bagel added. That said, the customization options were great -- we added pickled jalapeños to the jalapeño cream cheese and some hot sauce, and it was so good. Super yummy, totally worth the hype, and we'd absolutely come back next time we're in DC.

We were sat in the solarium area, and it was during the heat dome, and it was really warm in there. Otherwise, though, it's completely charming inside and reminds us of some of the best French bistros we've been to in the country (e.g. Balzathar, Le Supreme). The three cocktails we tried--the frose, le jardin, and the clouseau--were all stunners. And of course the bread deserves another special mention, *especially* the room temperature butter. Thank you for not serving hard as hell butter! We shared the warm shrimp salad to start, and for $31, we were expecting more than a few avocado slices and 4 shrimp on it, but c'est la vie. The dressing was incredible, and the greens were crunchy. That's actually the only dish of the night that we thought was unfairly overpriced. One of us ordered the burger and the other got the rabbit pappardelle--you've got to get rabbit when you see it on a menu, which isn't often enough! There was a good amount of super tender meat and the pasta was perfectly al dente, all in a lightly stunning sauce. Chef's kiss. The burger was, no surprise, another triumph. There was juicy meat, bun integrity, and all the right accouterment notes. The fries are standard. Our daughter got their mac-n-cheese, which is probably just the gratin dish renamed. It was OK. We kind of got out of control for dessert and ordered the pot de creme, the cookie dough ice cream, and the profiteroles. Honestly, these were all good, but nothing that stood out as exemplary as with the savory stuff. Our only major complaint was the service. It was really spotty and while there was a very, very long gap in between when we got our water and then put in our drinks, but our mains came out almost directly after the salad. And the guy was just not very hospitable. Not necessarily a "bad" experience...it just could have been a lot better. Four stars, and we have already declared that we will be back again to "The Dip" because there is so much else on the menu that we want to try.

Churchkey itself is everything a great bar should be. The beer selection is absolutely unreal -- hundreds of carefully curated labels spanning every style, region, and flavor profile you can imagine. What sets it apart is that the staff actually knows the menu. Our server walked us through a few options based on what we liked and landed us on perfect picks both times. That kind of genuine expertise is rare. The tavern pizzas from the wood-fired oven were a wonderful surprise -- thin, crispy, and the perfect companion to a cold draft.
