While it didn't affect what we ordered, to be frank, their menu items are a bit pricy. On the other hand the service is great, the surroundings very comforting and the dessert display is not be missed. They have inside dining, a sunlit back area and shaded outdoor dining by the street. There are pricy parking lots nearby and, with luck, street parking is available. The lot next to the restaurant charged $20 on a Sunday, although we found a spot on a nearby side street. A hint - double check the parking signs before street parking because tickets can be very expensive and tow away is in effect at select spots. Other than parking, Bottega Louie is the place to be.

Every bite was phenomenal. I also couldn't resist ordering the squash blossoms off the menu (cooked tempura style), and they did not disappoint. On top of the restaurant experience, their famous cafe and bakery counter is packed with the most gorgeous pastries and sweets. The entire place is a vibe, and I already can't wait to go back!

After reading two new reviews, by "W.W" and "Sarah". I decided to make myself a yelp account and to say this. It was a lovely Sunday morning approaching afternoon and i was enjoying an amazing lunch special that i get every weekend! I saw this couple walk inside and go to the back of the line. The line was very very long, due to the fact that is was a jewish High Holiday, Delice always gets busy during High Holidays, so to me seeing that line was a normal thing. Anyways--- The couple was just all over each other, making out in the middle of the line! regardless of if people were cutting them, they did not say one word to anyone cutting them or to any employees. If they really cared, they would have stuck up for themselves and said something! They did not mention anything to anyone. Anyone else that i know would have said at least "excuse me" or go up to the counter (which they were not even by, since they were making out the whole time). Delice always provides amazing quality foods and fair customer service! i have never been treated with disrespect! It really hurt me to see that Delice was accused of not serving them because they were "not jewish". first of all, the appearance of someone does not state if they are Jewish or not. I have seen everyone be treated equally and fairly in Delice. read more

What an amazing tasty fresh bakery!! Every cake is filled with cream, texture and amazing flavor. Every bite I take fills my face up with such joy. But don't even get me started on the pastries! The chocolate croissants are the best in town!! They are so layered and filled with chocolate. Just the right amount for that sweet tooth of yours. Now the cheese danish are filled with creamy cheese with every single bite you get!!! All the sandwiches are absolutely a mouth full and fills your stomach up but always leaving you wanting more! I just can never get enough of this bakery. This will always be my favorite kosher bakery in town! The owner is outstanding always the most open kindest heart ever. Best breakfast and lunch in town!! But this has gone on for too long and I feel people really need to know what this place is really all about. PLEASE STAY AWAY! There is nothing good about this place and I've given them a 100 tries. OVER PRICED and rude employees. Mess up every order. If you must get good FRESH and tasty KOSHER products, go to the other bakery up the road on Doheny. Best french kosher bakery overall in LA. I lived in france for 8 months and i can tell you delice best resembles french pastries. The croissants are incredible and i love their napoleon! better than in france! Ive read some reviews and some of these people who wrote bad reviews dont know what theyre talking about. theyre used to costco pastries and croissants--- the nasty factory made things. The service at delice is very good and each time i go there they treat me so well. Its a little pricy but im telling you now its worth it because you wont find another bakery like it! read more

I absolutely appreciate this bakery. It reminds me of my beautiful visits to Paris -delicious cakes, croissants, bread, coffee (cappuccinos and espressos), but also the atmosphere, artwork and decor, and outside seating - with the only difference the staff is amazingly friendlier, accommodating, and happy and offer great service. Here's the deal with Delice. They won't treat you all nice with fake smiles and BS. You order food and they give it to you. Plain and simple. They have the best baked goods in Los angeles. The bread is delicious and the pastries fantastic. They are expensive so if you don't like it instead of complaining don't eat there! They do have amazing food though. Today, I went to get breakfast at Delice Bakery with my girlfriend. I ordered some croissants and coffee. We also ordered some scrambled eggs. It was really delicious, the waiter that took care of us was really kind and gave us TOP service. For Shabbat I also got some cakes that my family loved so much. Everytime I'm in town and need pastries for friends, this is the place I go to! Always helpfull and their coffee is good as wel ;) And now they have a GLUTEN FREE challah that is Amazing!! The owners don't seem to care about consumers wearing masks. What a shame that they fail to care about our community. Continuing to serve a customer when he fails to comply with the minimum requirement is a flagrant disregard to his other patrons and employees. I called to order a specialty cake and the baker said that he needs a specific type of apple that they didn't have. The owner then went to the store to buy the specialty apple for my cake. As a customer who was staying at the establishment, I found this inappropriate and unwelcoming. What made the situation much worse was her reaction when I went back and asked why my cappuccino had been served that way. Instead of listening to my concern or simply explaining what happened, she laughed and joked about it. I found that behavior disrespectful and completely unprofessional. I have worked in the hospitality industry for many years, and customer service is just as important as the product being served. Mistakes happen, but laughing at a customer who raises a legitimate concern is unacceptable. I sincerely hope the owner or management takes this feedback seriously and addresses the situation. Customers deserve to be treated with courtesy, professionalism, and respect. Based on my experience today, I cannot recommend this place.

I tend to go for the savory options, while my spouse usually ends up with at least two of the sweet ones. One thing I really like is that they are constantly changing up what they offer, so there is usually something new to try. Today we tried the Ube Muffin, and I was pleasantly surprised. It wasn't too sweet, the top had a nice crunch, and there was a filling inside that made it even better. The staff is always friendly, and the interior is consistently clean and well maintained. It has become one of those places I really enjoy stopping by for a relaxed morning coffee and pastry.
