It is a take out place not a restaurant to dine in. The place had photos looking differently and we were disappointed bringing guests there! The cooler for ice cream did not work...there was a dirty rag under one end. The fries were not good. The server was nice, however, and in general the food was ok. He remarked they are a limited kitchen for making a large amount of food for serving. read more

The pizza is very good, but the best item here is the burrito verde. I'm sure I could it daily and love it each time. Large serving, but I often need a second helping of Pico de'Gallo sauce (which they always give for free upon request). Spectacular service - pleasant, warm, and helpful. I used to live in New York City, and one of my favorite things about the food scene out there was the variety of kosher food I could get. That being said, I just had a falafel sandwich that rivals some of the best falafel sandwiches I've had in New York City & I am over the moon about this place. The falafel was perfectly fried, the vegetables were fresh, the sauce was delicious, and the pita was bit making the sandwich well worth it! It is kosher and dairy and they do a darn good job with their Mexican food which is obviously made by someone who knows what they are doing because it is quite good and has a little kick to it. The Italian food was excellent and I loved the eggplant parm. Salads were fresh. Fresh and tasty ingredients were used. I hear the ice cream is something special for dessert. read more

We get our take out pizza from Pizza Station and it is reliably delicious. It's my favorite thing to order here. They carry pizza, Italian, and Mexican food. It's kosher and vegetarian. I've never eaten the Mexican food here but I have eaten from the Italian menu. I've had their ziti, lasagna, and eggplant at catered events. My favorite is the eggplant dish. They are all very cheesy. This is not lite food. I have eaten at the restaurant before as well. There is a lot of kid friendly food here. The restaurant is very casual. I had a thin crust individual pizza with feta cheese black olives and pineapple and I cheated and had a scoop of cookies and cream ice cream after. I am blown away by the service of Pizza Station. It's very hard to find good customer service with genuine down to earth people in Los Angeles, but Sheina and her team can do it and get it right. Sheina catered my party this weekend and from the beginning was just so calm and patient with me. I had no idea where to begin as it was my first time throwing a party in a long time. She asked me a few questions and then told me exactly what to order and her estimates were perfect. Besides all this ... the food was great! I served pizza, a variety of wraps, and tacos. Everything was delicious and all my guests were curious to know where I ordered from. Many of them said they would be using Pizza Station to cater their future parties after today. I ate here last week for the first time in about 10+ years, and I don't remember why I stopped eating here. I wanted a pizza for lunch and I'm not a huge fan of Nagilla or Shalom so I suggested we try Pizza Station. For kosher pizza their prices are great and the pizza was delicious. The main thing for me when I get pizza is that I expect it to be more or less the same each time so I cant say if they are consistent until I go back - which I'm planning to. We ordered a XL mushroom pizza- The pizza was more on the doughy side thicker crust but soft with light sauce but just enough, I will ask for extra sauce next time. The mushrooms were actually thick sliced you taste it, not the paper thin kind you find almost everywhere else. We also ordered a burrito the one with melted cheese on top while we waited for the pizza since we were starving. For $5 or $6? this thing is huge and delicious. I usually swap out soy meat for beans but my husband wanted it and I'm glad we didn't swap it out. The burrito is huge filled with this yummy soy meat and veggie mixture, rice and beans and veggies so good my picky 1yr old even ate it and liked it. It has melted cheese and sauce all over the top and came with a little side of salsa. We took our food to go so I didn't see the inside but as I recall from the past the place could definitely use some sprucing up which really changes everything the food tastes better at a place that feels fresh and clean. I will be trying again to check the consistency of their pizza as of now its my favorite kosher pizza in the city. Oh and the owner was so nice gave my husband a discount when he picked up the food for being a 1st time customer :) One drawback however is that they close so early ... why?? The staff were very friendly. The shop was clean. Their parking lot is pretty small but we were able to fit in. The soup was tasty but could have used a little more garlic or flavor. The calzone could have used some basil or oregano to bring out the flavor, the spinach just didn't stand alone well. I can't say enough good things about the kosher pizza station. I ordered from them for my sons birthday party and they were exceptional. First, their pizza is seriously good. Everyone at the party was raving how good it is. They also cut up the pieces into squares which is amazing because you can sample a bunch of different kinds without committing to an entire slice. They garlic pizza is not to be missed and their red onion pizza is insane. Second, communication is great. I was texting with Shana initially and then we spoke a few days before. All of her suggestions were spot on. Her selections were appropriate for a party mixed with kids and adults alike. I was concerned that we would have a ton left over but nope. She knew how many pies we needed and it was perfect. Third, they are accommodating. My mom is lactose and gluten free and shana made great suggestions for what my mom could eat, bagged it separately and put my moms name on it so it would get to her directly. From all the pizzas that I've eaten this is pizza has the least grease if any. It felt like a healthy pizza. The taste was pretty decent too but the best part was it being non-greasy. I had a large veggie combo pizza, where you could choose 4 toppings for the price of 3 and I had broccoli, onions, mushroom and green pepper for about 17-18 bucks. I'm sure it could feed about 3~4 people. They had a large menu but I'm not sure I want to eat a burrito from a pizza restaurant. Oh yeah and this was a kosher restaurant. That said, who am I to deprive myself of food during lunchtime if I want to meet up with a buddy who can't eat at a regular place? Enter Pizza Station, a kosher-dairy restaurant in the heart of the Pico-Robertson area, which I fondly refer to as "The Kosher Canyon." :) People are quick to assume that kosher food lacks flavor but that's really a myth. More than that (at this place anyways) the food is pretty healthy - and great for vegetarians! They have a comprehensive menu -- pizza, calzones, lasagne, falafel, eggplant parm, and even a tuna melt. Any veggie topping you can come up with they will have here, not to mention whole-wheat and extra thin crust pizza. Salads, wraps -- you name it, they've got it. There's also Mexican fare that includes quesadillas, tacos, fajitas, burritos (they use soymeat) and nachos. All Mexican food comes with guac, sour cream, rice, beans, and cheese. Mmmm. I had a Greek salad and my girlfriend had thin-crust cheese pizza. My salad was totally fresh and and the feta cheese was soft and homemade -- and did not taste "processed." Also, I asked for my dressing on the side and was brought a bottle full of home-made, light-tasting vinaigrette. It was delicious! I had a bite of my friend's pizza and it was awesome -- the crust was very non-greasy and light and the homemade mozzarella was tasty. I also have to mention that the people who ran the restaurant and took our orders were incredibly nice, which never hurts! Who says kosher food is tasteless? Wrong. I heard many people say that Pizza Station's pizza is gross and I didn't find that to be true at all. It is a crunchier crust and the cheese tends to be a little sparser than their neighbors up the block, but it was fine pizza to snack on. Nothing too spectacular, but I was satisfied. I'm kind of annoyed that they don't even out their prices and it ends up being $2.71 for a piece of pizza with tax. I also don't like the fact that they don't have a display case to show you what the pizza looks like and what kinds of toppings they have. Really good kosher take on pizza. Truth be told though I do like my meats on pizza and normally do not keep kosher. The dough and crust is one of the best I had. It's grainy but u can also taste the sugar they put into the recipe as well. I would recommend the Mexican pizza and the feta and tomato pizza. read more

I admit sometimes I am annoyed paying for mediocre kosher food in the area and feeling like I overpaid for something simple. However, this is not the only kosher store in the area, but somehow their store seems to produce inedible food. I would advise anyone to steer clear of the pizza as I don't know what the mystery cheese they use is, and seeing as cheese is just about what every other dish there uses, I'm pretty afraid to see what that cheese looks or tastes like on any other dishes... read more

The best Pizza I've ever had, kosher and not. Ever since I tried their pizza, I haven't ordered pizza anywhere else. You get to choose your crust, extra thin, regular, or extra thick. Their toppings are the best and they are amazingly reasonably priced. Their Mexican food is also the best I've had. Everything can be ordered with soy meat, YUM. The food is not only good, but plentiful as well. I usually end up having to split a plate over two times -- and it's good re-heated the next day as well. It's a small, family owned establishment. Nothing fancy looks-wise, but the atmosphere in the place is homey, the staff is friendly and helpful, the cook is second to none, and the food is delicious. I have liked the food at this place for a long time now but there is an unsettling trend going on in the last year or so. It seems that every time I request extra this or that, that in turn, they actually use less of that item than normal, not more. For example, when I ask for extra tomato sauce on the pizza, I get almost none. I thought it must be an aberration but I not only saw the very same thing happen a few times, it also seems to apply to other items, as well. When one orders 4 pizza toppings on a pizza, instead of getting what I would think would be a nice amount of all of them, the total combined topping is actually reduced to about the quantity of one single topping, yet they charge extra for the 4, which would be fine- but only if they actually provide them! A week ago, we ordered a pizza with 4 toppings and along the lines that I described above, we got one topping's worth of mixed items- but in this case the toppings (and cheese) were only at the center of the pizza with a big part of the perimeter having no topping or cheese at all! And it's not that the outer cheese and toppings just settled towards the middle. All of this might be forgivable but when the owner was told about the problem no apology or even a bit of apparent concern was offered. All said, I like their pizza (and other items as well) but I don't like feeling that I simply can not get my order the way that I want and pay for it to be. read more
