This place is long overdue in our area. My new spot for bread needs. Try the pan sobao, it is delicious buttery and the perfect base for any sandwich. Or just let them do the work. PR style sandwiches are toasted and warm and filled with deliciousness. My favorite is the pernil but the tripleta is destroyed by everyone in my house. We have one ham and cheese fan, who guilds the lily with extra butter. This is a bakery so the usual fried finger foods are not on the menu (yet?). If they added the frituras. They would have to give me a cot in the back.

Just dropped in for a quick impromptu lunch at a hidden little Puerto Rican bakery. We were welcomed with friendly smiles and greetings upon walking through the door. That with the smell of freshly baked bread and sweets were more than inviting! After quickly scanning the menu I went with the Monte Cristo (ham, Turkey, and cheese) with swiss, pickles, and onions, pressed. Hubby had the same but all the way with mayonnaise, lettuce, and tomato. The bread was hot and crusty on the outside and pillow soft in the center. Ooey-gooey cheese melted to perfection! So delicious! I can't say enough how perfect this was. Half would've been plenty but I chose to make myself sick, in the best way of course. While we were waiting for the sandwiches to be prepared we selected several fresh baked goodies to bring home. We chose the quesito (cream cheese-filled pastry twist) with guava, bread pudding, and a cheese and guava muffin. There were so many beautiful pastries, donuts and cakes to choose from in the glass case and if my hubby hadn't been there I would've gotten way more. Next time, I will get the tripleta (pastrami, Cubano ham, and cheese) sandwich and many more pastries to bring home.

Yeah...Happy for a Puerto Rican Bakery in OP. My daughter raves on them so I stopped by for pastries for a friend on a Sunday morning as I was so glad they were open and they were pretty busy. They had lots of choices as most PR Bakeries do and I wanted to try everything but since it wasn't for me I was good and kept with my mission. I was in and out quickly and even though I didn't try anything...yet..my friend stated she really enjoyed everything so I will be back soon to try for myself.

Omgoodness. Hidden GEM. Got 2 total 8oz coffees. Yummy with a punch of caffeine. The empanada was hot, fresh, flaky, and delicious! Young lady behind the counter, was very knowledgeable of how each item has been made, and what was inside each item. She was incredibly helpful with telling us how we should eat items and what pairs well with it. Come pick up some Puerto Rican, homemade desserts, sandwiches, and bread.

Had the Tripleta....really good. Also chose the carrot cake for desert and was impressed. Good location in Orange Park and wide variety of bakery items and regular food as well. Even has a kids menu. Put this one on the list. Worth the trip.

A little taste of Puerto Rico in Orange park. Fresh pastries, fresh baked bread, sandwiches and natural juices. I always passed by here and never knew it existed till this morning I saw them on the morning news. Got dressed and headed over right away because I had to see and try for myself. Too much to choose from. I got some cream horns, guava and cheese pastries and fresh loaf of bread. Everything tasted just like home and highly recommend going here. If you go hungry you will buy more than you need. Lol‍

This place is amazing. Everything is homemade (feels like home), and super delicious

I purchased two bread puddings and they had mold on the bottom. Absolutely disgusting and disappointing as this is a local business we bought from almost on a weekly basis and wanted to support as a small Hispanic business. Needless to say I will never purchase food from them again.

I was really missing Home. So I went on google maps and put Puerto Rican bakery and hoped for the best. I drove about 45 mins to satisfy my craving of a breakfast sandwich. They do it just like in Humacao and Fajardo! It was so crispy and good! It made me miss home even more. The flancocho was something new for me but did not disappoint. Would highly recommend.

The…read moresetting/atmosphere is nice enough--not all-out chic like some coffeehouses (Origin in Savannah comes to mind) but nice enough. The lady at the counter was also nice enough and my bagel with lox, iced tea, and chocolate tart came up quickly. The bagel with lox was fine: if you have quality ingredients that should not be hard to produce though. There's not a lot to mess up with this order and it was perfectly fine, as was the iced tea. The chocolate tart--the filling was great, but the crust a bit thick, dense, and not very buttery. I bake a lot at home and can do better than this with my pastry crusts. So I feel like for the price, they should be able to do better, too. That much being said, still a solid experience and good location. However, the prices seemed high: here's the thing, a lot of ethnic bakeries and the like are around. The quality at the Istanbul Bakery at Apna Bazaar is better and the prices lower. Same with other places I can think of locally, too. The concep with Blueberry is great but some leveling up yet to be done here.
