This place is long overdue in our area. My new spot for bread needs. Try the pan sobao, it is delicious buttery and the perfect base for any sandwich. Or just let them do the work. PR style sandwiches are toasted and warm and filled with deliciousness. My favorite is the pernil but the tripleta is destroyed by everyone in my house. We have one ham and cheese fan, who guilds the lily with extra butter. This is a bakery so the usual fried finger foods are not on the menu (yet?). If they added the frituras. They would have to give me a cot in the back.

Yeah...Happy for a Puerto Rican Bakery in OP. My daughter raves on them so I stopped by for pastries for a friend on a Sunday morning as I was so glad they were open and they were pretty busy. They had lots of choices as most PR Bakeries do and I wanted to try everything but since it wasn't for me I was good and kept with my mission. I was in and out quickly and even though I didn't try anything...yet..my friend stated she really enjoyed everything so I will be back soon to try for myself.

Quesito with Guava and cheese Guava-Cream Cheese Puff Pastry

Just dropped in for a quick impromptu lunch at a hidden little Puerto Rican bakery. We were welcomed with friendly smiles and greetings upon walking through the door. That with the smell of freshly baked bread and sweets were more than inviting! After quickly scanning the menu I went with the Monte Cristo (ham, Turkey, and cheese) with swiss, pickles, and onions, pressed. Hubby had the same but all the way with mayonnaise, lettuce, and tomato. The bread was hot and crusty on the outside and pillow soft in the center. Ooey-gooey cheese melted to perfection! So delicious! I can't say enough how perfect this was. Half would've been plenty but I chose to make myself sick, in the best way of course. While we were waiting for the sandwiches to be prepared we selected several fresh baked goodies to bring home. We chose the quesito (cream cheese-filled pastry twist) with guava, bread pudding, and a cheese and guava muffin. There were so many beautiful pastries, donuts and cakes to choose from in the glass case and if my hubby hadn't been there I would've gotten way more. Next time, I will get the tripleta (pastrami, Cubano ham, and cheese) sandwich and many more pastries to bring home.

Omgoodness. Hidden GEM. Got 2 total 8oz coffees. Yummy with a punch of caffeine. The empanada was hot, fresh, flaky, and delicious! Young lady behind the counter, was very knowledgeable of how each item has been made, and what was inside each item. She was incredibly helpful with telling us how we should eat items and what pairs well with it. Come pick up some Puerto Rican, homemade desserts, sandwiches, and bread.

Had the Tripleta....really good. Also chose the carrot cake for desert and was impressed. Good location in Orange Park and wide variety of bakery items and regular food as well. Even has a kids menu. Put this one on the list. Worth the trip.

A little taste of Puerto Rico in Orange park. Fresh pastries, fresh baked bread, sandwiches and natural juices. I always passed by here and never knew it existed till this morning I saw them on the morning news. Got dressed and headed over right away because I had to see and try for myself. Too much to choose from. I got some cream horns, guava and cheese pastries and fresh loaf of bread. Everything tasted just like home and highly recommend going here. If you go hungry you will buy more than you need. Lol‍

This place is amazing. Everything is homemade (feels like home), and super delicious

I purchased two bread puddings and they had mold on the bottom. Absolutely disgusting and disappointing as this is a local business we bought from almost on a weekly basis and wanted to support as a small Hispanic business. Needless to say I will never purchase food from them again.

I was really missing Home. So I went on google maps and put Puerto Rican bakery and hoped for the best. I drove about 45 mins to satisfy my craving of a breakfast sandwich. They do it just like in Humacao and Fajardo! It was so crispy and good! It made me miss home even more. The flancocho was something new for me but did not disappoint. Would highly recommend.

I was looking for a cake for a special occasion and I was pointed in the direction of Sweets by Sheryll. Sheryll was very personable, bubbly, intrigued and very inviting on what I was looking for. She was able to give me a few ideas and options that would best fit what I was exactly looking for. Sheryll, through the whole process was very in tune with letting me know the price, time of completion and time to pick up the cake. I was never left wondering when the masterpiece would be completed. It was a very smooth process. Now let's get to the cake. The cake was exactly, no no it was beyond what I was expecting. The cake was moist, tasteful bite after bite, sweet but not over powering and the final result of the exterior of the cake was epic!! The cake looked so real, that no one wanted to eat it, lol. Once the first cut happened and tasted, you couldn't fill the plates fast enough. The cake was for a work event. We definitely know who we will be going to for our next dessert/cake. Well done Sheryll! You definitely have the talent and skill to make any occasion a special one.

I had a plum cinnamon tea which was also great and hit the spot on a rainy day. The WiFi connected but wouldn't open any pages except google, so that was a bummer. I'd love to see for-here food come in an actual plate or bowl. The bowl mine came in had all the egg & sausage on the bottom, so you ate grits first then everything else. Still, I'd come back and try more things. I also tried the chocolate banana thing (muffin? Donut? Cupcake.) and found it pretty disappointing. The cake part itself is good, very moist. Too moist to be a donut or a muffin, so it must be a cupcake, which is weird considering the shape. The icing was awful. It's so overpoweringly sweet it doesn't taste like chocolate or banana, just sugar. If you don't scrape it off, it makes the whole thing way too sweet.

As I walked to pick up my ordered items, the storefront for Deloozeycakes caught my eye. The doors were closed and locked but I saw a couple of people inside who assured me that they were open. The store was bright with neon lights and it looked inviting and very clean. Desserts such as cupcakes, cake slices, cookies and mini sweet potato pies were lined up neatly along the counter, and the temperature regulated case up front had salted caramel, red velvet, and french vanilla cheesecakes; banana pudding; and strawberry yum yum cake. Red velvet is one of my favorite flavors and that's usually my "go to" cupcake when I try a new place. But, that red velvet cheesecake was calling my name! I got a slice of that and then I couldn't resist getting a piece of the honeybun cake. After taking one bite of each cake, it was clear to me that they know how to make incredible cake! The red velvet cheesecake had a light and soft layer of cheesecake nestled between two moist pieces of red velvet cake that boasted a beautiful cocoa flavor. And while the honeybun cake reminded me more of a coffee cake than a honeybun, it was full of cinnamon, glazed, and delicious nonetheless. Open since the Summer of 2020, Deloozeycakes has rotating cake flavors and even spirit infused cupcakes. I definitely loved the cakes that I tried but I thought the prices were a little steep. At $8 for the cheesecake and $5 for the honeybun cake, I was surprised by the portion size, particularly for the honeybun cake. Keto cheesecake: 8/10 - I didn't know it was crustless but nonetheless, it was delicious. It had caramel, chocolate drizzle, and nuts on top of the cheesecake layer. The cheesecake itself was creamy and flavorful. They had plenty of carb friendly and keto friendly desserts like brownies, cakes, and cupcakes in their display. I really wish it had a softer lighter bite but it lacked any sponginess. I realized quickly we would need some milk for coffee to wash it down. The icing was divine though. The caramel drizzle on mine was sweet but not overpowering an in perfect balance. I just really wish the cake itself had been better. I know people prefer different density in their cakes but I'm of the moist and spongy variety. Also the price is a bit high for the cupcake size especially given the quality. Service-10/10. It's counter service but the staff is welcoming and quick to assist. Atmosphere-10/10. Not too difficult to find amid a strip of stores. It's clean and cozy enough with nice seating options.
