I got the Smash burger and my friend did the sausage egg sandwich. They both super tasty and come on Homemade buns!! Delish. I am experimenting with matcha to find one I like and I enjoyed the Pink Cloud Matcha. It was strawberry which I love I grabbed the Berry tart (absolutely divine and the nutter butter cookie sandwich (so yummy) when leaving and when I i opened the box at home they included a free cupcake! A cute, nice, little bakery with coffee and ample breakfast, brunch, and lunch offerings. The setting/atmosphere is nice enough--not all-out chic like some coffeehouses (Origin in Savannah comes to mind) but nice enough. The lady at the counter was also nice enough and my bagel with lox, iced tea, and chocolate tart came up quickly. The bagel with lox was fine: if you have quality ingredients that should not be hard to produce though. There's not a lot to mess up with this order and it was perfectly fine, as was the iced tea. The chocolate tart--the filling was great, but the crust a bit thick, dense, and not very buttery. I bake a lot at home and can do better than this with my pastry crusts. So I feel like for the price, they should be able to do better, too. That much being said, still a solid experience and good location. However, the prices seemed high: here's the thing, a lot of ethnic bakeries and the like are around. The quality at the Istanbul Bakery at Apna Bazaar is better and the prices lower. Same with other places I can think of locally, too. The concep with Blueberry is great but some leveling up yet to be done here. read more

This counter service bakery and coffee shop is a great place to grab a quick bite and a cup of coffee. They use a medium roast intelligentsia coffee and you can get it in a paper cup or a mug (I opted for a mug). They play old school rock which is my jam but if it is not yours, it is not loud enough to drown out conversations or that ear buds can't drown it out. For breakfast, I opted for a breakfast sandwich on a croissant with a fried egg, cheddar, bacon. But I got the feeling that the bread, egg cooking style, breakfast meat and cheese were customizable by the questions the server asked. So if my fave is not yours, you could get it your way bc the menu says scrambled and I got mine hard fried. Staff are super friendly and accommodating. I am usually able to get free refills when I go. I really enjoy this place, but at 10-12 tables total (inside and outside) it can get a little crowded. read more

I walked into the place and was prepared to buy a box of goodies for my family but became overwhemed by sticker shock. I still wanted to support so I grabbed my chocolate chip muffin to go and some extra napkins. I got in my car and grabbed the muffin from the bag to prepare for my yelp picture and I found it was pretty heavy. It had some serious weight to it and was a good size. So I placed napkins all around my lap and cross my chest, knowing that I'm going to end up in a mess while I try to eat some of this while I'm driving and I took off. My first bite, I'm like this is so moist, not crumbly or dry. I could only eat half of it before I was full. I got done, and noticed there was no crumbles on my shirt and none in in my car seat. It cost $70+ which is fine but the male employee (owner?) was not helpful-even when I asked for guidance re popular items since I was a first time customer. What a great little find, well actually our friends recommended it, but it is still really good! I opted for a French Toast Iced Coffee and a Wild Mushroom Quiche with a side salad. The coffee was very good and tasted like french toast, without being overly sweet. I highly recommend it. The quiche was excellent and had a wonderful flaky crust and some great flavors of mushroom. What I did not expect was how phenomenal the dressing that is served with the side salad would be. Wow, it really was a wonderful dressing. The peach prosciutto and arugula toast was very well made, with just the right amount of all ingredients and a beautiful look. The salad was fresh, had the perfect dressing that tasted like spring. The blueberry pancakes loved up to the hype, they were gigantic and fluffy - not too sweet. Flat white was delicious as was the chai latte; the coffee wasn't too acidic and they have multiple options for milk. There are a ton of vibrant, freshly baked pastries. 8 varieties of muffins, several types of croissants, tarts, cheesecakes, cookies, and brownies. I was impressed with the number of gluten free and vegan options. 6 pastries were gluten free and/or vegan. We tried a gluten free and vegan muffin, which was so tasty, the blackberry chocolate chip. Everyone greets you with a big smile, and even after ordering at the counter, employees continue to walk around and check on you. I visited during their busy Friday lunch rush and witnessed the staff going around and asking everyone if everything is tasting ok, or if they needed anything. I loved my first experience at this new location so much, I even purchased a few bakery items to go. I finally made it to lunch here and loved it! These are the same great treats from Southern Grounds. The bakery is located on Beach Blvd (very close to Southern Grounds in San Marco surprisingly) and has a few parking spots in front, and more on the side. There was only one other person in the cafe when I arrived, but more people came while we were eating. I browsed the menu and couldn't decide between breakfast or lunch. They are super limited on veggie friendly entrees, so I went with the avocado toast (that comes with an over easy egg on top and a side salad). The portion was huge, and it was DELICIOUS! Loved the bread that the toast came on. I would like to get a big salad if they offered a vegetarian one or shrimp or salmon as a protein option. I got my favorite pumpkin muffin to go. I am a sucker for a good bakery and I hit up Blueberry Artisan Bakery when driving out of town and the coffee!!! That was wonderful and I ordered a little danish too and thought I would just take a couple of bites and stash the rest for later in the drive- haha, nope- one bite and I couldn't stop and then was legit sad when it was gone! I love the mural outside, the inside is bright and wonderful & I got them early in the morning, so no lines! Win, win. I stopped by a few days ago and sent John inside (I had babykins in the car, aka my grandson) he returned with THREE HUGE COOKIES! Oh lordy- so good, I think the snickerdoodle was my favorite. I ordered a pistachio iced latte, delicious, pistachio'd, not too sweet (my husband for the french toast iced latte, and it was somehow even more delicious). It was easy to find, although kind of hard to get to, and I'm pretty sure I parked in the wrong parking lot which I'm grateful I didn't get towed from. When I walked in, I was greeted by sunny tables and chairs and openness that displayed the pastries available for purchase. There were lots of options for breakfast and lunch, along with custom holiday drinks. I chose the pastrami on the sandwich, a hot snickerdoodle latte, and a birthday cookie for my son. The sign to check in on the Donut Trail was easy to see and I was able to apply the code to the app. The girl running the cash register was friendly, and she made sure to carry out my latte for me to my table, a long with my table number. I didn't have to wait long for my food. The pastrami was a decent size sandwich with plenty of chips, and the cookie was big and warm. The latte was okay, but didn't have a lot of flavor. The mushroom quiche was a lite flaky crust wish a custardy mushroom filling, and this is no basic button mushroom quiche I could actually see tiny enoki and chanterelle's, it was delicious and large enough I saved 1/2 for tonight You have a choice of sides fruit, chips, or salad. With breakfast order I had fruit = fresh blueberries grapes and strawberries. Today I chose the salad and once again they took it over the top, super fresh lettuce, radish, blistered cherry tomatoes served with their own vinaigrette which was perfectly balanced and the salad was perfectly seasoned with salt & fresh ground black pepper, simple but stellar! Actually to me it was the best side salad I've ever had. It was a perfect lunch. Their desserts are also fantastic! Definitely recommend the espresso brownies.
