Didn't expect to find a Honduran restaurant out here but so glad I did. Was skeptical since they didn't have many pics but glad I gave them a chance. Authentic food, great tamales and baleadas. Must try their Pupusas! I ordered 3 revueltas and they were one of the best I've had. Thank you ladies :)

Chicharrón (two pieces cut in half) and all yuca

I actually like the pupusas from here and I've gotten other dishes that are really good like flautas and rotisserie chicken. But the rice was kinda mushy and my daughter didn't approve! Also I ordered this many times before (and never learn my lesson) but the chicharrones with yuca is something I get at other places and for some reason they always cut up two pieces of chicharrón and give me a whole container of yuca ... why?!!! Everywhere else is a good ratio but this place, cheap with chicharrón? Lol

With this being peak season for parties, I thought it was only appropriate to give a review of a…read morerecent experience I had hosting a surprise party for my parents at a hidden gem in Rockville Centre--Cabo RVC! Cabo RVC offers a wide range of party packages with different options and price points, and it honestly feels like no request is too big for them to handle. From start to finish, the team there is absolutely incredible. The owner, Angelo, and manager, Nathan, work side by side with their servers and bartenders to make sure every single detail is perfect and that each guest--from the youngest child to the oldest adult--is happy and well taken care of. What really stands out is how accommodating the staff is, how they go above and beyond for guests, and how they honor multiple food allergies, special requests, and last-minute change of details with such ease and with a smile on their faces all the while. The restaurant is truly run like a well-oiled machine! One thing neither you nor your guests will be able to overlook is the wide variety of drink options at the bar--especially their infamous margaritas, which can be topped with bottle floaters for an extra special touch. Pro-tip: Order the Rainbow Ice Rita... you will NOT be disappointed Moving onto the food--your tastebuds are about to embark on quite the journey! Between the tableside guacamole, hand-served empanadas, crab cakes, coconut shrimp, pineapple chicken kebabs, and quesadillas (just to name a few appetizers), your guests are sure to already be impressed. Then the servers set up the main entrées--in our case, chicken enchiladas, salmon filet with cilantro lime butter, tequila-marinated skirt steak, steamed vegetables, and potato au gratin--and everything was perfectly timed, served hot and absolutely delicious! But wait... there's more! Two servers bring into the room--right before your eyes--the largest paella platter you could ever dream of, filled with crawfish, shrimp, calamari with sofrito, chicken, and chorizo in sweet pea saffron rice. Both you and your guests will truly be in awe of the presentation. And just when you think the night couldn't possibly get any better, they finish with an incredible churro bar that leaves guests (and you!) wanting more. The restaurant itself is beautifully designed, and the back room is a photographer's dream--talk about "finding the good light!" I cannot thank Cabo RVC enough for helping to create the perfect menu and ambiance for our guests and for helping our family create memories that are sure to last a lifetime. Every detail of the party was flawless. The flow of food and drinks was seamless, the attention to detail was top-notch, and our guests are STILL raving about how amazing everything was. If you're looking for a fun, professional, and absolutely delicious party experience, Cabo RVC is exactly where you should host your next event! -- at Cabo RVC.

It was Friday at 2pm and I asked if they were currently busy I could be there in ten mins. He said They were not busy and I could come. Upon arrival there were five people at the bar and no one in the dining room. Took five mins wait until we were noticed. When I requested a table outside The man who greeted us said "was 95 degrees outside and that they really aren't pet friendly!l" I told him I just called to confirm and the man said "you didn't speak with me!" My dog is ten pounds and is asleep in a pet pocketbook! My sister and I went across the street to Doric and had a delicious classy Al Fresco lunch outside (it was NOT 95 degrees) I'll never visit Cabo ever!

TIn regards to the decor, this isn't a place chasing modern trends, and it's all the better for it. The rotisserie chicken has that perfect, deeply seasoned skin that only comes from a kitchen that knows its craft, and the salmon is a exceptional. It's an authentic, unapologetic Colombian staple where you can just head to the bar, grab a cold beer, watch the game, and get exactly what you came for. Food (4/5): Fantastic. The rotisserie chicken is packed with flavor, and the salmon is consistently excellent. The sheer volume of food is staggering. Customer Service (3.75/5): Reliable and down-to-earth. The staff keeps things moving smoothly, whether you're at a table or sitting at the bar. Decor (3.5/5): It isn't modern, but it doesn't need to be. It feels accurate, warm, and entirely right for an authentic neighborhood Colombian spot. Price: Around $25 per person. In an era of shrinking plates and rising prices, the value you get for the sheer amount of quality food here is a total steal.

Can't compare this with fast food locations like Popeyes, but can draw similarities to say an old school Boston Market that no longer really exists on L.I. You get an option of a side or a few but more homey to the Latin cultural roots of this chain. Therefore instead of ordering say mashed potatoes you can order Yuca Fries :) which are a healthier version believe or not, with just a slightly starcher root vegetable texture. On this outing to try the new location we opted for the 2 piece Drum Thigh with one side (slaw) drink and dinner roll, and added two Breasts and the Yuca Fries. All were made hot and fresh and served to our table by a friendly counter server, family style in large festive plate (w/side plates, disposable utensils). The flavorful chicken was great, yuca fries yummy and the slaw was definitely worth trying since their recipe tastes different than others. Pricing was more than fair for what we ordered, and I would consider definitely going back to try more of their menu items, as well as recommending others to give them a try. If you're not in this area to give them a try, I believe you can spot them at Penn Station. ;)

The meal includes 8 pieces of leg and thigh, 4 rolls, and 2 sides--we chose yucca fries and mac & cheese. I had takeout from a previous Yelp event, so I didn't expect dine-in service, but they gave us a table number and brought the food out to us. They also provided melamine plates, which was a nice surprise and made the meal feel more dine-in than fast-casual. When I the staff member about takeout containers, she misunderstood and immediately brought them over with a bag--honestly, super helpful. Service was outstanding. The food was hot, fresh, and delicious. The chicken was crispy and full of flavor. My son loved the yucca fries and rolls. I especially enjoyed the mac & cheese and chicken. We also tried the jamaica and horchata drinks (not included in the meal), and both were excellent. I wish I had a Pollo Campero near me--but maybe it's for the best, or I'd be here all the time!
