I love supporting a locally owned business. I've been here three times now and each time the food is superior and fresh. What I don't love is that the menu is constantly changing, so if you fall in love with something, it may not be there next time. Sigh. The place is small and quaint, offering a small amount of indoor and outdoor seating. Where I dinged a star was on the service. Each and every time I've been here, there is only one waitress and the service is horribly slow. Tonight there was only one other table of 4 ppl in the whole place but we had to wait to be seated. Then it took 20+ minutes to get our food once we ordered. So service is the area that needs more attention. Been out of town, we liked this place and decided to go here since we haven't been in since we moved out of town. Well our experience was not very well. First we arrived and they had an open tables, we had to wait, server would not seat us until they had put utensils down. Before they seated us they let another couple wander around unable to decide where to seat. Finally seated and able to order. The food was good the only issue was the time it took. Then we were notified that they were getting busy and would need the table for new customers. 3% Credit Card Usage Charge?!?! TF? Visited this place for the first time and my emotions are mixed. We ordered the Avocado toast and the asada Cobb salad. Avocado Toast 5/10 - i know every restaurant has their own take on avocado toast but the one here seem a bit skimpy on the avocado. It almost felt like they were cutting corners and just used one side of an avocado. I can see why they give you a cup of fruit to mask how small of a portion of avocado they give you.Toast was good. All other toppings were just okay. Nothing special. Asada Cobb salad 8/10 Simple Cobb salad with asada. Taste was good and portion was fair. Asada portion was fair. Customer service: 6.9/10 Customer service in all restaurants should be at a high level especially since it's a bistro. I ordered a bigger glass of water since they give you kids size cups and so they wouldn't have to filling up our cup constantly. I was never given a bigger cup and when I mentioned it to the waitress towards the end she was upset and said she had 10 other tables to attend to as well. Sorry you lack task management skill. Closing remarks ***Convenience Fee** This location charges credit card user a 3% fee. Disappointing if you ask me giving that the customer service dropped the ball yet still wanted to charge a credit card fee. Final verdict: 6.7/10 If one owns a restaurant big or small all parts of it should be top tier if they want returning customers. You might have good food but if your employees get upset easily over their own fault on not keeping track of their tables then maybe that's not the right job for them. More than anything charging a 3% service charge for credit card users is more of a " inconvenience fee". For those about to bash on me check your pockets and see if you have cash readily available every so often and let me know if being upset over a 3% credit card fee isn't justified. read more

My friend and I were looking for a unique breakfast place. We were pleasantly surprised. We started with the horchata latte. Wasn't sure what to expect. It was very good. It's not too sweet, and mild coffee taste My friend ordered the country fry steak. Not to be confused with "chicken fried steak." They are two different things, as my southern wife reminds me. Unfortunately I can't comment on the food because they weren't able to fulfill our 11:00 reservation for 4 booked a week in advance through Yelp. We arrived 10 minutes early and went to check in. The hostess/server couldn't find our reservation. I told her it was made online. When she finally found it, she tried to tell us that our reservation was for an outside table. I told her that there is NO table selection in the reservation process AND it was 40 degrees out. Then she takes my number and says she'll text me as soon as a table opens up. So we go out to the car to wait because this place is tiny! Our 2 guests arrive around 11:05, still no text, so we go back in only to find that they have seated two parties of 2 at tables for 4, and they have 2 tables for two EMPTY!! So I confront a different server who tries to tell me they had reservations. Okay, but so did we! I received two confirmations via text from them. If they're not going to monitor their Yelp reservations, they shouldn't offer the service. They didn't even offer to ask the parties of 2 to switch tables even though hadn't even gotten their food yet. So we turned around and left. I don't think I've ever received such poor customer service. Needless to say we will not be going back nor will we be recommending this place. read more

We had a party of 6 on Saturday morning and we came in at staggered times. A young man greeted me at the door and set up a table immediately as we filtered in, something that I appreciate as a customer. Service was prompt and our server answered any questions we had. The food came out quickly and it wasn't the standard taste, Delicioso had their twist on it, like my Chicken Eggs Benedict, a nice fried breast with two poached eggs over a slightly sweet bread and drizzled with hot honey. The side of country potatoes had more than just salt and pepper for seasoning. And I have to mention my opener of a mocha coffee. Unlike those commercial places where everything tastes like it's blended, you can taste the coffee separately from the chocolate with a nice cream layer. Very nice! The owner, Mrs. Martinez, took our order and asked if we like French Toast. We said yes but didn't plan on ordering it. She changed our minds because her eyes sparkled and opened wider as she mentioned their French Toast, and how it's not too eggy. We have never inhaled French Toast as quickly as we did this morning. Just pure perfection, with whipped cream, fresh strawberries, bananas, and a small touch of buttery orange marmalade that made my eyes widen the same way Mrs. Martinez's did lol. The Don Chilaquiles hit the spot. My husband's El Jefe (chorizo omelet) was so tasty, along with their breakfast potatoes. I asked for extra salsa and wanted to drink it out of a cup. My family and I went here for my mother's birthday. While enjoying our food, We found a piece of broken plate in my father's food. He ate about half of it before he bit the plate piece. We told the server and she took the piece from us and brought a manager out. The manager apologized and asked if we "want a side of bacon?" We declined and got our ticket, when she brought the ticket out she attempted to tell us it was "egg shell". The service was great, and all of the staff were friendly. They were all willing to chat a bit, since I was there at a time with few people. I got the penne chicken alfredo, and I was immediately impressed with the presentation when it was brought out. The addition of sun-dried tomatoes was nice as it brought out a sweet flavor that contrasted well with the alfredo sauce. The only iffy factor was how many small pieces of chicken were there in the dish. I'm not a chicken fan so this wasn't an issue for me, but I know this may be an issue for some.
