Amazing!! My salad was outstanding! Nice outside dining area and the inside is nicely decorated. My husband thought his sandwich was too spicy, so be advised about those Serrano peppers!

Tasty or WasteY???? Totally tasty !!!! I love everything about this place. I always get the Chilaquiles with green sauce. My husband gets different things on the menu when we go and he enjoys all of them. The only problem I have is it is so loud in there because it is such a small and confined restaurant. And I enjoy the live music being played. It's just such a tight confined little place. And you have to yell to talk to one another therefore everybody else here's your conversation. This is not a good place to go on a date or to get to know somebody over conversation. That's why you have Galletto's or Tresetti's down the street. But if you wanna go and have a quick breakfast, then this is the place. Though wait waitresses are always very, very nice. And the prices are great.

Food was delicious! Only thing was service wasn't the best. We had to wait a long time to have our orders taken. I asked for another lime and wasn't ever given. The silverware we were given was dirty which was very unfortunate.

The food was okay, nothing to write home about. Definitely has the flavor but it needs an extra something to take it to the next level. The service could've been better, took them way too long to get our orders in and to get our food brought out. The overall look the place is quaint and it was nice they had live music being played.

Food Delicioso Bistro's brunch menu is all I have experienced, and I really enjoyed it. The bacon and mushroom omelet has been my favorite, it's in the pictures below. The verde salsa is amazing. I am not sure it matters what you order, as long as you include an orange juice. It is without question the best orange juice in town. It's like they literally squeezed it out of an orange and served it. Service From the moment we walked in, the staff was warm, friendly, and attentive. They greeted us quickly, walked us through the menu when we asked, and didn't rush us--even when the place got busy during peak brunch hours. What's really nice is, you are assigned a server, but whomever is walking by will check on you. Patio / Outdoor Dining I do enjoy the patio if the weather is nice. Yes, it's on a bit of a busy street, but you don't really notice when you are sitting there. The umbrellas and the greenery offer a pretty nice setting.

This place is the bomb!! The food is sooo delicious like the name says. The boss omelette, juevos ranchero & chicken pasta crepe was excellent. The service is outstanding and I highly recommend you give it a try. You will not regret this.

Came here for Sunday brunch. Parking lot is small but there's a lot of nearby street parking. Restaurant also looks a bit small but there is both indoor and outdoor seating. When we arrived there was a live performer. We were seated right away. Staff was extremely friendly. We didn't just have one server, each staff member asked us if we needed anything or if we are doing okay each time they past by any table. Great customer service. We got our food and it was all fresh, worth the wait! The food was so good and flavorful. Some of the best country fried steak I've ever tasted. Original flavors and good portions. I have no complaints at all about this place. Prices were well worth the value. I cant wait to go back. This spot may just be our new brunch spot!

Very great spot for brunch. I loved it! Food was delicious. I also loved that they got their herbs from their own garden. Flight was very cute.

I'm slightly disappointed with this visit. This is our second time here and the service was not great. So disappointing when they charge upscale prices, have great food, but service was fast food service at best. They were not busy today and had open tables yet we waited 10 minutes to sit down after being asked multiple times where we wanted to sit...we said anywhere. They don't have seating available while waiting, they could have offered to seat us at the table they had set and ready for us the whole time we waited outside - for what, I don't understand. They don't have a kids menu- no biggie but my kids shared their meal and my husband and I shared ours being we weren't too hungry- no offer for splitting the plate, again no biggie but they didn't even bother asking or bringing us out an extra plate or two. Two of us ate over a napkin. We got checked on at the end of our meal, no one bothered to ask how our food was or anything after the meals were dropped. No waters or even an offer of water....so when charging upscale dining prices be sure your service matches what people are paying for. I probably won't be back based on this experience, sad because they do have great food. Maybe Togo is a better option for this place.

    Chilaquiles without Asada/Chorizo mixture.

Not realizing I tried this place once before, nearly a year ago via Doordash, my wife and I found ourselves dining in for brunch. I gave 3/5 stars back then, and it was the burritos we had back then with a limited menu choice. This time, it was brunch, and the menu was vast. This was our first time dining in and the second time trying the food, as explained above, with Doordash. So, it took a little time to get through the menu. My wife ended up choosing the Chilaquiles (3.5/5) that had an asada and Chorizo mixture that she omitted and had put on the side. The menu gave no options for choice of protein (i.e., grilled chicken breast). I had her put it on the side so that I could try it. She said she liked the Chilaquiles flavor but thought it "was put together or seemed simple and that anyone could have put that together." I chose the $35 "Country Fry Steak" as it is listed on the menu (1/5). Chicken fried steak, country fried steak...tomato tomahhto, it's all the same, or so I thought. BTW, most items on the menu have a mexican flare to them, as did my "country fry steak." Served with hash browns, a salsa verde and toast. Okay, I am down to try staples with a twist. Well, BIG MISTAKE! The steak was breaded with bread crumbs and not the country/chicken fried batter this dish is known for. If you like chicken or country fried steak, you're probably saying Ewww to yourself right now. After trying to force myself through half of it, I just could not eat anymore. The service consisted of two young wait people splitting the time attending our table. Both young females and one clearly younger and a little less experienced than the other. I could not tell you their names because neither introduced themselves. The younger of the two was visibly impatient with us taking a few extra minutes with the menu. She arrived within 2 minutes of us being seated and 2 more times roughly 4 minutes apart. Mind you, the place was not busy at all. Then the slightly older, second wait person arrived and asked if we were ready to order. We were not but I said "two more minutes please." She returned in two minutes and we ordered. All said and done, from being seated to ordering took about 15 minutes. Neither wait persons were rude, but they were not very attentive. When the elder of the two finally did come back when we were finished eating, to ask how the everything was, I told her about my meal and her face went from a smile to one of concern. She said "she was very sorry" and walked away presumably to tally our check. Now I don't know about you, but any restaurant that I have gone to and didn't like the food, the wait person would ask if their was anything else on the menu I would like to try. That didn't happen here. Or, they would grab the manager to come to the table to see if their was a way to rectify the problem which usually ended with removal of that item from the bill. That didn't happen here and if the manager/owner would have come over to the table to offer to remove it from the bill, I would have politely refused. After all, I ate half of the NOT Country Fried Steak. The price point at this place is a bit steep, but over the years anytime I have been comped on a meal at minimum that becomes the wait person tip. If the service is great, the tip is the comped meal price PLUS the going percentage rate for tips. That didn't happen here. I left a $5 tip on an $81 bill. I believe in tipping and I was planning on spending that money anyways at that establishment. Why leave the rest of the day open with bad vibes due to a bad experience? Btw there were a few other items we ordered not mentioned. When my wife and I go out to eat at a new place, we often order a few items just to try them. When asked if we would like the rest to go it was a unanimous "no thank you." There just seems to be something incomplete about this place. No condiments, no salt/pepper shakers. You know, the things you would see in every breakfast brunch restaurant. I mean when I asked for ketchup for my hash browns, it came in packets. The service however friendly seems unrefined. As much as I try not to give 1/5 stars, there were just too many things wrong/incomplete. My wife said, "Maybe I just expect too much?" To which I responded, If I am spending alot of money I do expect alot." If a restaurant is going to charge $35 for a "Country Fry Steak," it better be good at a minimum. "Just okay," is not an acceptable bar to reach. I don't get angry when I have an experience like this and write about it like am now. My hope is the owners and staff read it and can take some things away from this review...and do better.

Located in a somewhat industrial area bordering the countryside, it feels like a well-kept local secret--but judging by the crowd, the secret is definitely getting out. We arrived early and were told that the restaurant would become busy. Sure enough, within about 15 minutes, the entrance was jam-packed with people waiting for tables. We were also told that if we had waited until 11:00, we might never have gotten in! The Biscuit Basket serves breakfast and lunch only, and apparently plenty of people know to arrive early. The interior has a pleasant, country-simple décor that feels comfortable and welcoming. Even more impressive was the exceptionally friendly staff. Our server, Adrian, was personable and attentive. He checked on us several times, kept the coffee filled, and made sure the tea was taken care of. Another gentleman delivered our meals and also took time to talk with us. He asked whether we needed anything else and enthusiastically described our selections as some of their best dishes. He was not merely delivering plates--he was proud of what he was serving and continued selling the experience as he went along. The food was delicious. We had biscuits and gravy, I had an omelet, and we both had fresh fruit. Sharon particularly remarked on the quality of the fruit, and I noticed it as well. Restaurants sometimes serve fruit that is underripe or past its prime, but this appeared to have been selected carefully. Everything was fresh, properly ripe, and right on point. We also learned that the people behind the Biscuit Basket have connections to several other successful local restaurant businesses associated with Dan Costa. That experience certainly shows. From the food and service to the smallest details, everything was done exactly right. The Biscuit Basket easily earns five out of five stars--and deserves bonus credit for getting the entire experience right. It was wonderful to see a local business doing so well, and we will definitely return.

They rolled with it without hesitation, which I always appreciate. My wife was meeting me a little later, and they timed everything beautifully. The food was on the table only about five minutes before she arrived, and with warm sandwiches and soup involved, the timing mattered. Everything was just the right temperature when we sat down to eat. We both ordered the Uptown Gal--roast beef, giardiniera, Dijon aioli, arugula, and white cheddar on house focaccia. The flavors were spot on, and these are substantial sandwiches. In fact, next time we could probably share one. We also shared the jalapeño Parmesan artichoke dip, which was excellent. We enjoyed some there and brought the rest home. The soups didn't have the same opportunity--we polished those off pretty quickly. Very flavorful. The iced tea was clearly freshly brewed and quite strong, which I actually prefer because I can adjust it to taste. It came in a generously sized glass as well. Lucille is a small place, but they've made very good use of the space. The interior is attractive and has a slightly modern, new-age feel. There was a steady stream of people dining in and picking up orders, and it wouldn't take many more customers to fill the place. I also noticed a nice wine selection and an espresso machine. One other thing stood out: the employees seemed genuinely happy to be there. Lots of smiles and a pleasant atmosphere throughout our visit. Excellent food, generous portions, good timing, and a staff willing to accommodate a customer who showed up a little ahead of schedule. An easy five stars from us.

The food was just your typical diner type, greasy spoon kind of place. I got an egg white omelette with ham (looked like cut up pieces of thin sliced deli meat) and asked that fresh potatoes be boiled in water or steamed in water due to food allergy. What I got was fried potatoes. When I questioned the server he just said that's how they come. Do they not have raw potatoes in the back they could have boiled for me?? The taste of the omelette was meh and I only ate 4 bites. I obviously didn't eat the potatoes. The English Muffin felt oily, like someone touched it with greasy hands. I had asked for it to be dry and with no butter. So basically I didn't eat any of my food and will not be back (this was my third time here and none of the other experiences were any better.) Such a shame because it is only 5-minutes from my house. My dad ordered the chicken fried steak and my mom got the taco salad and both of their meals were inedible too. The food here is just BAD. I told the server I didn't like my food and he didn't even answer me. He took away three plates of uneaten food and no one asked if there was an issue and no manager bothered to come over to even talk to us or try and make it right. What a HUGE waste of money. Don't bother eating here...so many other places to eat that are so much better. This place was packed and no real waiting area...everyone just squished together. This is a hustling and bustling place, so if you are looking for a quiet spot, at least don't go when we did. Best part of this place is their wall for taking pictures. Sadly disappointed…read more My friends and I stopped by Commonwealth on a Saturday afternoon for a late brunch. It was a beautiful day so it was busy for both indoor and outdoor seating. Here, you order your food, grab a number, and find your own seat for the food to be brought out to you. We sat at a table outside to decide what to order. There were no menus available so we just had to search for it online before heading inside to order. Despite being third in line from the register, we had an extremely long wait to order. There was only one person running the register who also had to make the drinks, meaning the service incredibly slow. We wanted to order the five taco platter, garlic fries, chicken Caesar salad, and mimosa pitcher. Sadly, we were only able to get the pitcher and salad. The cashier told us "sorry, we aren't doing fries right now." Not doing fries? Every plate in the vicinity had fries on them. She said that because it was brunch hour, only food on the brunch menu could be ordered. We looked at the brunch menu again and literally saw garlic fries as an option as a side for the burgers/sandwiches. No where did it specify that you can't order off the other menu and both were available online. What bothered us about this is that we placed this order at around 1:50pm, and brunch ended at 2:00pm. I understand that we are not entitled to things on the lunch menu during brunch-time for items like the tacos, but considering the menu swap was less than 10 minutes away and they were quite literally were "doing fries" at the time, it didn't make much sense to us. The only food that we ended up ordering was the Chicken Caesar Salad. This one dish took a super long time to receive. By the time it was brought out, the three of us nearly finished the Mimosa pitcher. The waitress noticed we had no silverware and said she would go grab us some. Because of how the service had been going thus far, we placed a bet on whether or not the waitress would come back with the silverware. Surprise, surprise. She didn't. We had to go inside later and search for silverware ourselves. We weren't even able to get sharing plates which was upsetting since the waitress asked us if we would be sharing the salad. The salad itself looked delicious, but was bland. The dressing was missing that zing and zest that a Caesar dressing typically has. I do appreciate that is was a chopped salad, had avocado, and seasoned croutons. It is just unfortunate that it was lacking any flavor at all. The food prices are quite affordable for the quantity of food you receive though. This experience was disappointing because I was so optimistic about the place. The menu looked good, it had fun and casual vibes and a cool crowd of people. If Commonwealth worked towards better service practices, it would have been a more positive experience.
