Found this gem by chance while in town to attend a performance. Really fresh, delicious Thai food. I think the woman who took care of us was the owner. She was very welcoming and friendly. I will definitely be back when next I find myself in North Hollywood!

Decided to try this place out and glad I did. Pad See Ew is one of my favorite dishes and I very much enjoyed it. Will definitely be back to try other dishes.

Just average this time around - the Pad Thai noodles looked like a brick and had no flavor. The cucumber salad was decent as was the Thai Iced Tea

My wife and I have been looking for a yummy Thai spot. We found it. First impression, clean, friendly vibrant atmosphere. We ordered the food and everything came out piping hot and extra fresh! All the flavors were delicious and Ray was a great host! We certainly recommend this place and will for sure be back!

First time here. We passed by here last week and wanted to try it. Glad we did too. It was good. My wife started with the Duck Noodle Soup. She enjoyed it. I got the Spicy Thai Basil dish with chicken. It was from the lunch specials and came with salad and rice. We also tried the Pad Thai and the Pad Kra Pao with chicken. Overall I enjoyed these dishes. My wife like it but wasn't blown away. I felt my dish was tasty. Actually I felt all the items we ordered were flavorful. The server was very helpful and concerned that we were enjoying it. The dining room was comfortable. All in all a decent lunch experience.

This is crazy work for $66. The Garlic noodles are good, the shrimp rolls are good. But the underwhelming orange chicken and minuscule portion left me really scratching my head. I know time are tough but damn.

We saw this place when we were across the street at the theater. I like the fact that they have combination plates so you can order an entrée that comes with two sides. My husband and I usually like to share different things, but we were on our way somewhere and didn't want to have leftover sitting in the car. He had the garlic pork with fried egg, which was good. I had the garlic green beans with beef. I tasted the garlic pork and it was good. The green beans or fantastic. The beef was a little salty, but eating it in combination with the beans and rice was just fine. Our waitress was very friendly and helpful. The place is clean and neat as a pin. I look forward to coming back and trying some of the street food. Very reasonable.

My boyfriend and I love trying new Thai restaurants and this is the third or fourth in NoHo so far, definitely our favorite! I've never seen my boyfriend eat so fast lol. Food came out quick, the garlic noodles were my personal fave. So delicious!! Chicken panang curry & rice were also some of the best I've had in awhile. Thai tea was very tasty. Nice vibes, server was super sweet, gave us a stamp card too. Will be coming back!

This place is an absolute gem! The service is outstanding and the ambiance is warm and welcoming to all. I ordered the Pineapple Duck Curry and man it was off the chain! I am addicted now and will definitely be back for more! They also have a lunch special from 12 - 3pm you can check out during the weekdays.

The roti was highly recommended, and although I've enjoyed roti before, nothing has come close to this version. It was incredibly delicious--light, buttery, and perfectly flaky, with delicate layers that practically melted in my mouth. The accompanying dipping sauce complemented it beautifully. I'm a big fan of drunken noodles, but the version served here was truly exceptional--the best I've ever had. The flavors were rich, vibrant, and perfectly balanced. Our server was attentive, patient, and genuinely kind, making the dining experience even more enjoyable. To top it all off, the prices were very reasonable for the quality of the food and service. I would happily return and highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for an outstanding meal.

We've gotten takeout from here a few times and it's always been good!…read more Here's what I've tried: Pad Thai with Ground Beef - My husband ordered this dish, and it came in a very generous portion. I thought it was too sweet for me and it didn't taste like most Pad Thais I've had or come to expect, but it was still okay. Veggie Rolls - This is pretty much salad/lettuce in a spring roll, and the peanut sauce is what makes it delicious. Not very large or filling, but good if you want some side greens. If you have a peanut allergy, skip these because they're kinda boring without the sauce. Panang Curry with Filet Mignon and added Japanese Pumpkin - This was a good dish! The steak was cooked a little too well for my liking, but it was generous in portion and the sauce was really flavorful. I was glad I added the pumpkin. Filet Mignon Pho - Not my favorite pho ever, but I liked that they offered Thai and Vietnamese options. When I ordered online, I didn't see in the description that it included bean sprouts or basil and that I had to order them for $2 each. I like my pho with every dang thing, so I spent the extra $4. The items did already come with the pho, plus I got an extra bag that I didn't really need to order. The steak was thinly sliced and tender, I just wish there was more of it. Salmon Rolls - These are pretty heavy, the fresh salmon is fried on the outside and rare on the inside. They come with a few dipping sauces, including a spicy mustard that I liked. Thai Tea Caramel Creme - This is honestly the reason I order from here. I am a damn fiend for Thai Tea-flavored desserts, and I crave this one all the time. It has a rich, velvety texture and a strong Thai tea flavor. I have thought of stopping by just to order this, and I probably will. Our orders have always been ready on time, although I can't speak for any dining-in experience, and I think it's a little pricier than other Thai restaurants. The website is just a little wonky... I like that everything is customizable in just about every way, and there are pictures of most items, but the pho order wasn't clear about what it would come with, and some of the upcharges are higher than they should be. However, I will come back for that Thai tea dessert because I've fallen in love.

My son didn't make a reservation because it was a Wednesday night and he didn't think it would be crowded. But with 5 adults and a baby carriage, we had to wait for the right table because the somewhat small restaurant was full. We soon got a good spot and ordered the shrimp ceviche and the pan fried dumplings for appetizers. The ceviche was served on a bed of crispy noodles and it was refreshing and satisfying. The dumplings were crispy, not greasy, and flavorful. For dinner, we got 2 orders of japchae and 3 orders of bibimbap. With 2 Korean-born children and having visited the country, those are among our family's favorite dishes. And they did not disappoint. The japchae noodles were just right. They were not too firm and not too soft and well-seasoned. With a mixture of veggies, meat, mushrooms, eggs, and that delectable sauce, the bibimbap tickled and satiated the tastebuds. I told the server there was a birthday at the table and she brought out an excellent creme brulee with a candle in it. My husband and I didn't pay the bill. But the prices were reasonable with most of the entrees costing less than $20 each. We have four more days in town and may very well make another visit to indulge in that scrumptious food.

I finally made it, and well, no surprise, I am a fan. Parking Located on the corner of Magnolia and Whitsett Ave. There is plenty of street parking. But if your feeling a bit bold, there is a closed Rite Aid across the street that has a bunch of parking. Ambiance: For starters, this there is something about the decor, very classy yet casual somewhere you can have a quiet lunch and enjoy the day. I felt at home here and at ease. The staff were great on checking up on me every now and then and made sure I was well taken of. Food: There is a lot to talk about here. The name, for all accounts did not scream Thai Food, yet, I haven't had better Thai food and the area. I stopped in for lunch and they had a such a good Lunch selection and affordable ($20) that also includes a drink. I ordered the BBQ (due to macro restrictions) paired with a small salad and rice. Level with me, BBQ chicken is something I order really to test the waters and I can honestly say, one of the better BBQ chickens I have had. Though this review doesn't do Rustic Spoon much justice, I would highly recommend swinging by. I will, I would love to try some more traditional flavors such as the different curries and soups. Looking forward to the follow up!

Walked in today around 4:45pm and got a very nice, warm welcome from Alex - the owner himself. He told me to have a seat anywhere that I wanted, so I did. Alex himself took my order and the food came out pretty quickly and fast. I was very hungry so I got 2 main entrées and their regular small salad with peanut dressing. Ordered their Pad See Ew with beef & shrimp that also came with well cooked broccoli. I also got their crab fried rice and stayed with my water. Both entrees were cooked really well and were hot & tasty. My only complaint was that the beef was a bit overcooked and hard to chew. A lot of to-go orders and delivery/pick up by 3rd parties. Place was SPOTLESS CLEAN, including their gender neutral restroom. They also had nice decor all around. I really enjoyed my lunch and the portions being HUGE, took the rest home for my son to eat. Parking shared with 100 businesses:-) Thank you Alex & Noodle Monster!

I even verified with the girl on the phone when placing the order i wanted jalapenos. The banh mi has no jalapenos, half the sandwich is daikon and carrots with a cucumber and the thinnest layer of overcooked beef on top. I ordered last month 2 banh mi and egg rolls. Banh mi had no jalapenos either, the egg rolls were missing lettuce wraps and the sauce was half the to go container. I've eaten here in person and received lettuce when eating in the restaurant, their yelp photos show lettuce wraps with the egg rolls. But every time i ordered egg rolls for takeout it is missing lettuce wraps. The one time i ordered and got the lettuce wraps with egg rolls, i had to explicitly tell them to add it that time. I thought this placed served the food as it should be in their culture? I've held back leaving a bad review of this place because i thought they would somehow improve or it was a one off mistake but this was the final straw. Consistently screwing up or intentionally holding back ingredients on takeout orders crazy. How much are you actually saving by with holding lettuce, sauce, and jalapenos???
