He took the time to guide us through the menu and even made sure we didn't over order. Thanks to his recommendations, we had the perfect amount of food for everyone, with just enough leftovers to enjoy later. The food was absolutely delicious, and everyone at our gathering loved it. What really stood out, though, was the exceptional customer service. It's rare to find someone who genuinely wants to make sure your event is successful instead of just selling you more food. I hadn't been here in over 15 years, and it was wonderful to see that both the quality of the food and the outstanding service have remained just as great as I remembered. Ordered pickup from Thai Victory in North Hollywood and tried three things: pork Pad Thai, chicken Pad See Ew, and chicken Tom Yum soup. Each one was $16.95. The Pad Thai was probably my favorite. It was really flavorful and saucy, which is how I like it. The Pad See Ew was also really good and I'd order that again too. The Tom Yum soup tasted good, but I definitely underestimated their spice level lol. The choices were no spice, spicy, or very spicy. I'm usually more of a mild-spice person, but since there wasn't a mild option, I went with spicy thinking it wouldn't be too bad. Nope. It was honestly one of the spiciest things I've ever eaten. I don't even want to know what their very spicy is like. If you actually enjoy spicy food, you'll probably be fine, but I really wish they had a mild option between no spice and spicy. That would probably be my only real complaint. Other than that, everything we ordered was really good and I'd come back to try more of their food. read more

This review is long over due! My coworkers and are regulars here. Meaning, we are here at least once a week. The food is always amazing and super authentic flavors. I would recommend the Pad see ew, Hawaiian fried rice, and my all time favorite...Thai boat noodles. Probably my favorite in the Valley and trust, I've tried multiple restaurants. We ordered a coconut soup with shrimp plus a chicken pa woo sen (noodle dish) and it was amazing! I asked for medium spice level on the soup and it was spicy but SO good. Good portions. Pad Thai was pretty good. The bean sprouts also smelled quite bad so hoping I don't get sick... But the green curry was very odd. Some eggplant was so hard it wasn't edible. The curry also separated which means either it's too watery or it was overcooked and allowed to boil. Minimal flavor, so I'm guessing it's boiled. Maybe just an off night. To the Owner: Tonight I ordered this dish along with seafood soup for my roommate, and we ordered the shrimp rolls to split between us. I asked that the pad woon sen to not be made spicy and what happened? Somebody in your kitchen didn't read their notes, and made it so spicy I couldn't even eat the food. For $17? Someone didn't have the common decency to read the notes and then sent this out thinking it was OK, does nobody double check the orders there? Obviously not... The shrimp rolls, not crispy. They were actually only halfway cooked and extremely greasy, that's really a turn off... The seafood soup, my friend said was acceptable.. Definitely had better.. Now to mention the insult of having to wait an hour for the food delivery which I wouldn't have minded if it had been good food. All I have to say is WOW, tell me please how do you got 4 1/2 stars on yelp? We were first time customers tonight - we adore Thai Food and if we got what we thought we were going to get - we would've been happy. But instead, this was very sloppy cooking from your chefs. Small family-owned restaurant but with a very comfortable and cozy feel as there's TVs inside and the guy was fixing on more cooling with their overhead AC unit. The food came out delicious and I was very happy with the taste and flavors of everything. I got the red curry mild with chicken and they include small white meat chunks with other toppings. The egg roll was veggies inside and crisp on the outside, but fluffy chewy on the inside. The rice was too much in ratio for me but I was still able to enjoy it with more curry for leftovers! Street parking, I go to this place when in North Hollywood to building a base of food before heading to a nearby bar. Service is friendly and also remember you. You have to get the appetizer Moneybags, basically fried wontons with a egg roll flavor. They come out burn your mouth hot and a sweet and sour sauce for dipping. Another appetizer I keep going for is the salads, papaya salad is very authentic with dried shrimps in it and the beef salad had plenty of meat that was tender. I like trying different dishes here but the basil roast duck and rice is a such a hit with my taste buds. We finally figured out that this was normal because usually our families would order a bunch of dishes and share all of the food. We, as a couple were so used to ordering an appetizer to share and one entree for each other, this time, we went traditional. We're sharing everything! Great ratio of sauce to noodles as well as all of the fixings - crushed peanuts, bean sprouts, carrots... You name it it's there and this is heaven!!! I would've loved to take a photo of the mango sticky rice, but I devoured it. They use the best type of golden mangoes for this so every bite is better than the last. The ambience is casual and cozy. I wish I took more pictures of the foods we ordered, but I was too busy eating lol. What we ordered: Chilli bomb fried fish fillet: Literally a perfectly balanced flavor bomb. Crispy, juicy fish topped with sweet chilli sauce. Soo freakin good! Tom kha: Perfect balance of the coconut and sour taste. Out of all the Thai spots I've tried, the Tom kha here tastes the best. Pad Thai Sukothai: A must try!! It was so flavorful and the crispy egg and pork with dried shrimp elevated the dish even more. Definitely will be coming back for this next time Mango with pandan sticky rice: Another must try!! I'm lucky enough to live about 3 minutes from the restaurant, so I've gotten my food delivered many times and have ordered for pick up a few times as well. You can easily order on the yelp app, and if makes it easy to reorder in the future. My go to is the crab fried rice. If they end up being out of something, they will call and ask what you would like to replace it with. Quality time with my daughter. She's craving for some Thai food and this came up from her searches. We ordered Pad Thai, Chicken Satay, Yellow Chicken Curry and Rice. My daughter enjoyed the food. She keeps on saying it's good. But for me it was okay especially the Pad Thai. I have tasted better. And don't forget the Thai Iced Tea. My daughter ordered large and Wow I was impressed with the size. A lot and it is shareable. The lady kept on checking on us and clearing our table as well.
