    Chicken pan woo sev

Tried this because it was in the area. The service is amazing. Staff is so kind. The food was amazing as well. We ordered a coconut soup with shrimp plus a chicken pa woo sen (noodle dish) and it was amazing! I asked for medium spice level on the soup and it was spicy but SO good. Greatly enjoyed and would be back. And location is okay. It's in the busy victory st. Unsure if there is parking in the back. Overall a great experience, would recommend

I've been visiting this Thai restaurant for quite some time, and each experience has been nothing short of exceptional! The service is attentive, and every dish on the menu truly exceeds expectations! Must try!

    Green curry tofu. Really weird

Good portions. Pad Thai was pretty good. The bean sprouts also smelled quite bad so hoping I don't get sick... But the green curry was very odd. Some eggplant was so hard it wasn't edible. The curry also separated which means either it's too watery or it was overcooked and allowed to boil. Minimal flavor, so I'm guessing it's boiled. Maybe just an off night. But 3 is generous.

Lunch special (soup, egg roll, curry entree)

Thai food here hit the spot for lunch! Picked one of the lunch specials they offered and was tended to right away. Food was cooked hot and fresh and service was friendly by the staff. Small family-owned restaurant but with a very comfortable and cozy feel as there's TVs inside and the guy was fixing on more cooling with their overhead AC unit. The food came out delicious and I was very happy with the taste and flavors of everything. I got the red curry mild with chicken and they include small white meat chunks with other toppings. The egg roll was veggies inside and crisp on the outside, but fluffy chewy on the inside. The rice was too much in ratio for me but I was still able to enjoy it with more curry for leftovers! I was able to relax and enjoy the yummy meal. *parking lot in the back it seems but I parked on the side street (no meters!) *bathroom available

Thai Victory Restaurant was an absolute win from start to finish. The ambience immediately stood out -- beautifully decorated with authentic Thai cultural elements that made the space feel warm, intentional, and welcoming rather than generic. The food was outstanding. The roast duck special was excellent -- tender, flavorful, and clearly prepared with care. The real star for me, though, was the special fried egg Pad Thai. Incredible depth of flavor, perfectly balanced, and genuinely one of the best Pad Thais I've had. The fried egg took it to another level. We also tried the Thai tea, which was very good (not overly sweet), and finished with mango sticky rice, which was fresh, rich, and a perfect way to end the meal. Service was top-notch -- attentive, friendly, and genuinely amazing without being intrusive. On top of that, the pricing was very reasonable for the portion sizes and quality of food. Highly recommend Thai Victory Restaurant if you're looking for great Thai food, excellent service, and a thoughtfully designed dining experience. I'll definitely be back when I'm in the area adding!

Street parking, I go to this place when in North Hollywood to building a base of food before heading to a nearby bar. Service is friendly and also remember you. You have to get the appetizer Moneybags, basically fried wontons with a egg roll flavor. They come out burn your mouth hot and a sweet and sour sauce for dipping. Another appetizer I keep going for is the salads, papaya salad is very authentic with dried shrimps in it and the beef salad had plenty of meat that was tender. I like trying different dishes here but the basil roast duck and rice is a such a hit with my taste buds. I asked for mild and it still had a delightful kick, the rice help soak up the sauce and the fried egg on top was chef's kiss. Especially in this economy!

Khao soi is rich and comforting, with portion good for one. Prik king is also good, definitely better than most.

I drive past often mostly before 11 which is when they open so I can't stop in, but this time I was able to stop by for a late lunch early dinner which I got to go. Parking is in the back and you can enter through the back door. Staff is so sweet and kind when they take the orders. I got the Kai Soi Noodle Soup because I loved it so much before, and I got a side of rangoon, a side of Roti, and a side of chicken Sa te. The Kai Soi Noodle Soup stayed hot for the drive back home and it is so delicious. I love how it's packed in a bowl with the soup on bottom and the noodles and veggies seperated at the top. The noodles taste incredibly fresh and just amazing. I loved eating the soft flaky roti on the side with the soup. I saved the rangoon and chicken sa te to eat for another meal and they were both delicious, however I felt the chicken was so thin so it was a little dry. Probably next time I should eat that immediately. Dipping it into the peanut sauce of course elevated it and it tasted very flavorful. Overall Dek Sen's is my favorite Thai food place in socal! I can't wait to try more from their menu soon!

We ended up going to Chang Mai. I'm very happy we did! It's a small, clean, very cutely decorated Thai place, and the hostess was our server as well. She was very good at her job: very sweet, always with a perfect smile. The only downside, that's for me, is there's no alcohol. But at the same time you know sometimes a Diet soda goes great with everything. I had the Pad Se Ew, and it was delicious! The boy had the I can't remember what it's called, but it has the fried (in a circle) noodles kind of like a curry stew and he got the roasted pork and he loved it. We also got the garlic chicken wings, which were absolutely delicious, not gonna lie about that. The only problem is they are expensive so next time we go, I will try another appetizer even though they were delicious, they were just a little out of my budget. I didn't use the bathroom so I can't comment on that but they do have street parking and I don't know if they have a parking lot in the back of the business. And now it is definitely in my top three Thai places around me and that makes me so happy. So happy I found another one that's even closer than the others.
