I really wanted to like this place since I love Thai food but unfortunately it was not a hit. I love pad see ew so I decided to give it a try at Grandma's Thai Kitchen. The noodles were soggy and mushy, I was not a fan. If I did not do a pick up order, maybe I would have tried something different. It seems like most people place to go orders, however, they do have tables for dinning in. Theres is freer parking and also a small parking lot in the back. I doubt I will dine here again. read more

Today I ordered the orange chicken, white rice and mango sticky rice. The orange chicken was unfortunately not good, as if they cooked it too long, which makes it pretty dry and hard to chew. Your jaw will be tired after you're done eating one piece, it's super hard to chew. The white rice is also really hard and is no where near nice and fluffy like good white rice should be. The orange chicken and white rice are definitely 0/10, and it's unfortunate because the orange chicken looks good from the outside and has great flavor, it just extremely hard and not fun to eat. The mango sticky rice is really good though, that was the one dish I ordered that is pretty tasty, I'd recommend it for a sweet treat and would give it a 10/10. There was trash on the floor, including food scraps and a straw, and I also noticed shoes left on the floor near the seating area. The condition of the dining room made me question the cleanliness standards in the kitchen. I've eaten here several times and the food is just very meh for me. I've tried several different dishes including the pad see ew and pad thai and nothing has tasted very good - it's bland but also a little worse than that. The only thing I had that tasted good was the curry noodle, and after a while of it I didn't feel like I could keep eating it either. Their Thai tea is good though. One of my friends loves this place because they say the staff accommodates their allergies and pickiness, but I don't know if I would say that the staff are that nice either. It often feels like they're trying to rush us or ignore us, even when they're not busy. Overall, I would come back if a friend said there was a really good dish I should try, but otherwise my one friend will be going without me. read more
