BIGGEST SCOOP OF RICE EVER I had raspberry infused iced tea.. delightfully made, had 2 glasses. various beers plus SODA IN A CAN..WITH ICE! ice water served from wine carafes without us having to ask I had yellow curry and shrimp..big shrimp definitely no skimping. Pad Thai with pork belly, Pad Thai with shrimp ( both flavorful but once shrimp oil sause was added for punch. base sause is safer for mild eaters. our group likes punch) Rea sea, Lemon grass chicken. Pot stickers and fried calamari for starters. all yummy plus all portions are large, rice was giant. Vegetables in each dish brighter and flavorful..kudos to the chef for not drowning the flavors by overcooking. over-all a few of us tried the curry shrimp and unanimously decided it had the perfect kick of spice with flavor. nicely decorated and roomy, much bigger inside than it looks outside. booths and tables. personally, I'd love to see an oversized buddha or more large art on the walls so the atmosphere matches the bold flavors. My favorite restaurant in Vancouver, after just three weeks on the scene. I'd eat here every day if I could afford it; it's absolutely addictive! Since moving here almost two years ago, I've been on the hunt for the perfect fried rice. My husband and I had an ideal we were trying to meet or beat (Top Spice in ATL if you're ever there) and FINALLY Delish is the one we've been waiting for! I think they actually exceed our ideal, because the service is so amazing and attentive. We went on opening night and had calamari, spring rolls, pork belly, and crab fried rice. I can't even explain how good the fried rice is, you guys. It tastes like love, and fire, and hard work, and personality, and perfectly balanced, hits-the-spot flavor. The crab was amazingly fresh and plentiful, and at our request the spice level turned it into a full body experience. We happily sweated our faces off through the entire dish, using our tears to cool our burning cheeks. It's been ages since I've had anything that spicy that wasn't homemade, and it felt so good! The apps were all tasty and served in generous portions. Calamari rings are huge circles of salty goodness, and the spring rolls have been perfectly crispy every time. Both the pork belly and steak versions of the salad are again just right; lime and spice in generous amounts, tasting freshly cool and brightly hot at once. The other night I had panang curry with giant prawns, that were seared before being nestled into the curry. Strings of fresh kaffir lime leaves and rich coconut milk enhanced the fragrant, piquant red curry, which I could honestly probably drink a gallon of. The cashew nut pork was also craveable, loaded generously with crunchy cashews and vegetables, and studded with tender pork. I'm always leery of meat at new-to-me restaurants, and Delish appears to serve high quality cuts only. Phew! I would be remiss not to mention dessert, which I usually skip at Thai places but is irresistible here. The mango sticky rice is the best I've ever had, and presented beautifully. Fried bananas are an exciting twist, and their homemade ice cream is rich, but light enough to still be necessary after a big meal. Trust me! Not only is the food excellent, but the service is wonderful as well. This is a family establishment, and I already feel like family. I asked my husband if maybe we could have Thanksgiving with the Delish family because I bet they throw an amazing feast...haha! This is my local spot, bottom line. But, I am often biased because of my traditional, go-to dishes. I do like pad Thai, but Pad See Eew is my rock, and this place does it for me. Today, I tried their spicy mussels, along with the standard. These mussels were REDICULOUS! The sauce was savory, and mixing them with the onions and green peppers was spot on! This has become our Go To Thai restaurant! During the Covid-19 pandemic, with the stress of shelter in place, finding good reliable take out has become crucial to home harmony and well being. We absolutely love the Curries! The Peanut Curry is to die for as is the Penang, and the portions are great! Certainly enough for two meals. One thing to be aware of is their definition of spicy! Be careful what you ask for! Most places that cater to the American palate hold back in the spice, not Delish Thai. When you ask for spicy, better get ready for a little existential self examination! I appreciate the respect of getting what you ask for. One more thing! The staff religiously wear face masks, which makes me feel safe and welcome! Delish Thai is always a good choice for Thai food. My family goes every once in a while to the restaurant and also do takeout quite often. The Pad Thai is always good with excellent flavor, plenty of protein choices from tofu, pork belly, chicken and seafood. When I get it I always do tofu pork belly or the seafood. You can choose what level spice you want but it's always hard because it doesn't always come out the right spice level. But food is always delicious, and has a great atmosphere. read more

Delicious and authentic! The Khao Soi soup is pretty close to the soup you find in the streets of the Northern Thai city of Chiang Mai. The soup combines tender pieces of chicken in a coconut curry broth with with delicious crunchy noodles on top! We also tried the Beef curry Massaman, salad rolls and drunken noodles, everything was so good we ate it all before I could take a picture! Atmosphere is modern more than typical Thai restaurant but quite nice. Service was excellent! Definitely going back! read more

On our way to a cruise in Seattle we stayed overnight in Vancouver, WA. We read the reviews on Yelp and gave this place a try. Wow, disappointed. We should have left when we say the poorly printed signs on the very dirty windows that they no longer had a liquor license. We did proceed and ordered. The floor was sticky and very dirty. The decorations around us were crazy dirty. Food came and egg rolls were over fried yet mush in the center. Very bad. The Pad Thai was cold and you would have thought your were eating rubber bands. No Singha beer due to no license. What happened to this place? I kept feeling very itchy around my ankles. Not until I got outside I saw I had fleas on my feet and ankles. DISGUSTING. I was lucky I had bug spray in my car from golfing that I was able to kill the fleas. I do not recommend this place. Filthy. read more

I've eaten here on more than one occasion and I would say that in my opinion, this has been the best Thai food I've eaten. Not much of a seafood guy but I've enjoyed more than a few of their dishes and they have always been on point. The drunken noodle dish and mussummun curry are probably my favorites. I went in when they first opened, they were friendly but the food was mediocre. I had the Tom Kha soup and it was so sweet I think they used sweetened coconut milk, I had to put a half a lime in it to cut the sugar. I also had the pork belly and fried basil, it was good at first but soon went greasy, I pulled the food back with my fork and there was a puddle of grease in the bottom of the plate and I'm not exaggerating. This place is awesome and has quickly become one of my favorites! I have an obsession with Thai iced tea and they make it the best of any place I've had. I come here at least once a week just for the tea alone because it is that good. The food is also delicious, my fave is the fresh rolls. They actually put a good amount of tofu in them and the peanut sauce is to die for!! Overall, this place is amazing, especially because of the staff. They now recognize us for always buying the Thai tea, and they go above and beyond in everything they do. One time, we came in less than 10 minutes before closing (my bad, I know) to fuel my addiction for the tea, but they had already closed the till so they gave it to me for free. This is the absolute worst Thai food I have ever (tried to) eaten. The service was as bad as the food. I ordered the Thai Garden with chicken and my wife ordered the crispy chicken with vegetables. My vegetables were barely warm and basically raw. The chicken was as tough as rubber. My wife's chicken was more greasy breading than chicken and what little amount of chicken was equally rubbery. Was in search of a new Thai place and this one was recommended. I placed an order for pick up- was super disappointed that their salad rolls didn't have the option for chicken, only shrimp. The size of the portion compared to the price didn't seem right as other places tend to offer more food for the price. But, I guess its better that way for my gut! 1. I have been to Thailand for work about 50 times. 2. I generally don't like American Thai because they overload with salt and sweet to make boring American palates happy. 3. This place is the REAL DEAL. My wife had the duck which I generally don't eat, but it was amazing. The meat was so tender and juicy. I had the garlic stir fry with half chicken and half pork (because I feared one would be horrible). The dish was awesome. The spices were authentic, not a bit salty or sweet. I literally thought I was in Thailand. I can't speak for every dish, but we will be back to try them all. The place is 100% new inside; they converted the old Russian Deli. The lot has plenty of parking and its right on 99. The local area may not understand what they have sitting there, so I call on all my Vancouver area friends and neighbors to give them a try. I hate to see these gems start up and die because the local KFC and Pizza Hut eaters think Thai food is bad Chinese. Wash out you mouths and brains, reset them to think food has some taste other than salt, sugar, and fat. At first you may flinch and think my god this isn't food, it's not causing me to stuff it down as fast as I can and gulp down tums to stop from vomiting. Trust me. Take small bites, allow the spices and juices to pass into your taste buds and time for your brain to acknowledge it's OK, you won't die, it's something new, it's pleasant. You will begin to actually smell it and experience the flavor. You now left your entire life history of crap eating behind. No need to rush. No tums required. Swallow and take a breath. Reflect on the beauty of what food actually can be in your life besides a means to stuff your stomach full in 60 seconds. If you try this and still hate it, OK. McDonald's is waiting for you to come back. I may need your seat at Delish Thai once people who actually know good Thai food find out this place exists. read more

Loved this place. Glad I read the reviews and gave it a try. The Pad Thai was in fact, delish! I kicked up the spice level a bit, and also ordered it without meat. Of any kind. They loaded it with some veggies and boy, it hit the spot. Go there. Like one of the other reviewers said, if you can't level it up and enjoy it, there's the regular old American diet garbage chains available down the road. I dare you. Go ahead and level up, buttercup. Oh. If you're curious, I would need to see a happy hour menu to give a solid 5, but they're not there yet and I'm sure they will get there. read more

First time visit. The restaurant was clean and presented well. The waitstaff was friendly. Solid 4 of 5. Our group of 6 had lunch and ranged from soup to potstickers to sweet sour pork to lemongrass chicken. All was very tasty and the reduced lunch prices were nice. Leftovers came home. I love me some Thai food & I recently heard about this new restaurant! A friend & I went last night & it was so good! They have more of an extensive menu than my usual go-to Thai place & I might even go as far to say that I like it better. I had their Thai Noodle Soup with pork & replaced the clear broth with beef broth. Tasted very similar to pho but more flavorful. Their fresh rolls with shrimp were delicious as well & their homemade peanut sauce was exceptional. The atmosphere is nice & they did a great job designing & decorating the interior. Customer service was great. Wish I would've gotten her name but she was very friendly & took the time to share what her favorites were & what she recommended.
