All four of us got sick for 2 days. Diarrhea and sick stomach. Coconut shrimp was flash fried and I feel under cooked. Shrimp wonton soup was horrible. Fried banana was made with overripe banana and was quite overwhelming. I'll never eat anything from there again. read more

This place is so cute! It's a little hidden gem in hazel dell. Their salad rolls are delish and I had their tomka soup which was amazing not to mention not really any carb in it! I stopped eating pho once I discovered this Thai soup dish without all the carbs. read more

Don't let the name fool you -- this place is the real deal. The Garlic Beef dish is incredible. The curries are fantasy. The calamari is a great starter (not greasy). Good service, atmosphere decent. My first experience here was not a great one. After writing a review, the manager contacted me and went above and beyond to right the wrong and fix the issues we had. I highly appreciate when businesses care about their customers and the service they provide. It means a lot in a day and age when a lot of businesses don't care. It's a new place, but I thought it was pretty good. I got the Pad Thai with Chicken, spicy. The noodles weren't gummy or rubbery, which happens with a lot of Thai food. $9 for lunch seemed a little pricey, especially since I didn't get anything else like tea, soup, or a salad. Delish Thai lives up to the reviews. I started out with mango tea and calamari. I don't usually like flavored teas but the server highly recommended it. This one had the most subtle mango flavor and was just barely sweet. It's was so refreshing on a warm day. The calamari was big, fresh, wonderfully crisp rings with a light batter served with a delicious siracha aioli. My main course was Sweet Basil chicken. All the veggies tasted fresh out of the garden. Stir fried to the perfect al dente. The sauce was light and had a great flavor. I will go out of my way to come here again. read more

This place is great. I always get the tofu pad Thai with no egg and it is one of my favorite meals.

I've been to a few Thai places around Vancouver, and Delish has my favorite panang curry. They have great prices for lunch and you get a small cup of soup when you dine in. The service is pretty quick, but if you're in a hurry they seem to take a lot of carry out orders. read more

Delish Thai is a very quiet and nice place to have a meal. The wait staff is very friendly and do their best to make sure that anyone who comes in is served as quickly as possible. I ordered the Thai BBQ plate. It was made with their own recipe that was very pleasing to eat. It wasn't over marinated and it was cooked perfectly. The portions aren't disappointing either. My boyfriend ordered the TomYum soup without noodles. He said it was the best flavor for soup he's had so far and he was very happy about ordering it. He also loved the Thai Tea. Our first night in Vancouver after a three day cross country move and we decide to have some Thai at the local restaurant. I must say I am impressed! The food is very good and moving from a city where Thai food is delicacy this place definitely meets expectations. The only downside is that I do not like egg and summer rolls are my favorite but theirs says it has egg in it. I just had lunch with my friends there. First, my friend waited too long for her food to be served. While I was chewing my food, I felt some kind of metal in my mouth. I spit it out and found out that it's the metal scrubbing wire left in the food. I told the server. The server came back and offered me half price. Our favorite thai restaurant was the worst tonight. I didn't leave a tip at all and I'm not sure if I've ever done that. Here is what happened..... we came in to our favorite place...got water and menus and waited. It looked like only one girl was working so we continued to wait and there wasn't any communication like "sorry for the wait, I'll be right there". We waited until an additional waitress showed up to work and noticed us so the menu to order time was about 15-20 mins. Yay! We finally ordered so no harm no fowl....or so we thought but the service actually got worse. I recieved my pineapple fried rice and we waited for my fiance's pork belly pad thai. About 5 minutes went by so we started eating my food (which was yummy as always). Some more time went by and then we could hear someone ask about the pad thai near the kitchen. We finally asked the waitress (the first one that gave us menus but didnt take our order) and she told us that they were making it now. Why is the pad getting cooked 20 mins after the first? I don't know. About 10 minutes later the pad thai arrived and most of the pork belly was over cooked like crunchy bacon and at no point did anyone come over to say sorry for the wait or explain what happened or just admit that they forgot to make the pad thai in the beginning. When the bill finally came (we waited awhile for that too) we explained to the waitress (that took our order) that the second dish didn't come out until nearly 30 minutes after the first and it was ridiculous how she tried to say it just takes longer to cook. What!? We have ordered these dishes before just admit that you messed up. People make mistakes, just own up and show a little customer service. read more

First of all, I like to think of myself as a pretty easy going person and I don't like to complain unless I really feel the need to. Today is that day. I work near this restaurant and have ordered here numerous times, never had an issue. Today though, I went in to put in my order for take out (as I usually do) and the woman that took my order either didn't understand me or wasn't paying attention. Anyway - I order my food, it already took much longer than ordinary and made me late coming back to work from my lunch. I leave the restaurant and get back to work to eat my food and realize I have an order that is NOTHING like what I ordered, in fact, I am allergic to shellfish, and rather than having CHICKEN, like I had asked, it had shrimp. I had also asked for extra soy sauce and there was no extra sauces of any kind. So, I call the restaurant to explain and no one answers. I went back about an hour later on my next break to have them fix my order and possibly do something to entice me to STAY their customer. The woman (the same one as before when i ordered originally) told me she was sure I said shrimp. I informed her that I AM ALLERGIC to shellfish, so there is NO WAY I would order SHRIMP. Her and I went back and fourth for a couple minutes until I left my food sitting on the table and left. VERY DISAPPOINTED. Delish? YOU WISH! WILL NEVER RETURN HERE. read more
