We were greeted by a friendly woman who took us to our table. Inside the restaurant, it's very bright and clean with a minimalist appearance. It wasn't too fancy. The menu had a great selection, they had a great wine selection as well. We were served sliced bread with olive oil to start. We ordered the lasagna Bolognese and the lobster ravioli. Both portions were perfect. The lasagna was incredible with loads of flavor. The lobster ravioli was not fishy, and I love the sauce that it came in. I would have enjoyed a little more taste of the lobster, but it was there. Overall, I would definitely return. I hope to try a dessert next time I go. We were just too stuffed to have anything else. Gotta try this place!

Well balanced, bold flavors, fresh, quality ingredients. I've tried their chicken Parmesan, Caesar salad, bruschetta, Seabass piccata, and spaghetti and meatballs. All were excellent! A perfect amount of garlic, pasta was not overcooked, al dente, like I like it, with rich delicious flavors.

At first, they seemed organized as they called out names for pick-up and the flow was going. However, once our 70 minutes passed, we moved inside so we wouldn't miss our order. We checked in and finally got our food. The pizza seemed to be missing lots of pepperoni, but we didn't want to complain because we were so hungry. The wings were disappointing--bloated and soggy. To top off the chaos, a guy walked in while we were eating, and the staff shouted out the name "Brett." He looked amazed that they "knew him", anyway they handed him the order without checking the system. Ten minutes later, he came back saying he had the wrong pizza because it had pineapple. Meanwhile, a frustrated woman was waiting for her pineapple pizza, and the real Brett was outside drinking a beer! "Random Brett" had just come out of nowhere and was given the wrong order. Every mistake was given a "10-minute fix" estimate. The cashier was explaining to t the kitchen that she's getting yelled at by customers for all the blunders, and while there were five people working in the kitchen when we arrived, only one gal was left by the time we were eating. Someone even came in from next door asking for a manager, but none was present. Get it together, guys! You have a good thing going with the pizza, but the service was a mess and the wings were not good.

We came for lunch on Tuesday and again on Friday because we wanted to pick up a Burke Williams gift certificate nearby--only to discover they're closed on Tuesdays. Oh well, that gave us a good excuse to come back Friday! Gaetano's has a new lunch menu. On Tuesday I had the Salsa Verde Steak Sandwich, and on Friday I tried the Gaetano Sandwich. Both were delicious and definitely won't leave you disappointed--or hungry! She had the Roasted Butternut Squash Ravioli both days and loved it so much there was no reason to try anything else. It wasn't very busy at lunchtime, so we didn't need a reservation. The restaurant was comfortably air-conditioned, which felt especially good on a hot, humid summer day. Great food, relaxed atmosphere, and two very enjoyable lunches in one week. We'll definitely be back!

As we make our way into the restaurant, it was already clear that the staff were hustling. One is helping carry 3 bags of pastas and 4 boxes of pizzas out to a customer's car. Another holds the door for us with a welcoming smile, then immediately runs to the kitchen. And the host is hurrying back to greet us. It didn't feel understaffed, but it was definitely busy, yet they all had a great vibe. Also 10/10 server, the guy was funny, efficient, and sometimes theatrical. For appetisers, we got the Calamari and Burrata Caprese. They were both solid, with a shoutout to the burrata, great flavour and texture. My wife and I shared the Tagliatelle and Steak Risotto. The short ribs were truly melt in your mouth, easily twisted on the fork with the tagliatelle. Amazing sauce, heavily supported by the mirepoix. The skirt steak was a little harder to chew, not sure if it was the juxtaposition between the two dishes, or if it factually was that way. The risotto however was great! A strong mushroom flavour with some spinach sprinkled on. The garnishes made it a wonderful adventure to eat. You could tell most of the customers were regular, but on that note, if you are ever in the area, give it a shot!
