Mike Yo is without question the most knowledgeable gun salesman in South Florida; possibly in the whole country. There is nothing he doesn't know down to the smallest detail. These guys really took care of me these past couple of months. I bought an agency Glock 43 from them, which I love. I had a minute issue with the firearm, which they repaired and even expedited. I always used to see the sign for dsc while driving on 95 and last October I finally went and checked it out. I had never shot before and had no idea how to go about purchasing a firearm. I happened to speak with Mike the owner who recommended a private lesson to get started. I booked online and met with Andy for a lesson. I was able to rent a gun and purchase ammo at the range. Andy provided excellent instruction and helped me feel confident and safe with the firearm. Since then I have purchased my own handgun as well as a membership for the range. I come once or twice a week to shoot and have yet to wait for a lane. (I'm usually there during the week probably busier on the weekend). I have read some reviews about the staff being unfriendly etc... it's not a Macy's people, it's a gun store. They are knowledgeable and professional and can help out beginners and gun enthusiasts alike. Shooting is an expensive hobby and right now there is a shortage of basically everything. DSC maintains a decent inventory despite this and always has had ammo available for the range. I recommend you take a trip over and check them out! read more

Don't expect any help or to feel welcome there at all. Unless you're one of the "good old boys" and already own several guns or hunt, are covered in tattoos or wearing camouflage pants, they look at you like an outsider, Picture this: You walk in, no greeting. You ask to use the range and to rent a gun. You get this look like "you mean you DON'T own one? After already spending $167 to shoot a revolver there for 45 min, you ask to switch to a pistol, like you've done many times before there. This time, thy hand you a pistol with its firing pin removed and in front one 5 of them you're asked on the spot to show your complete familiarity with the gun. Forget about being given a minute to re-familiarize yourself with it (it is inoperable, so what's the big deal?). I got this "He wants to do what?" type of look back when I asked to do so. Forget about a quick demonstration from them about part of the mechanism you need to re-familiarize yourself with. They'd rather stay on their high horses and look down out you. But, they'll sell you a lesson . Bet if I walked in and pretended I wanted to buy an expensive gun, things would have been different. I'm a surgeon and if I made my patients feel that uncomfortable and I treated my patients in such a condescending and unhelpful manner, I wouldn't have a practice. Having read their responses to all other negative reviews, I don't expect any form of apology. Just brash defensiveness and borderline hostility. No surprises coming. IN RESPONSE TO YOUR REPLY: Mike, as a matter of fact I did load the cartridge with the 3 fake bullets in the end. Yes I attempted to load them backwards initially. Big deal. I would have had no difficulty completing the process if you did have me on a 5 sec timer and if 5 of you weren't staring down at me as a hawk. Was that necessary? Yes, if you want to be asses. I loaded and shot a Barretta before most of you were born. The only danger is in knowing how to handle a weapon, My son and I no problem shooting 100 of your overpriced bullets without a issue. A very overdue Review. I have been Shooting and shopping at DSC for over ten years . Over the years the Knowledge and great Service i have received has been second to None. I truly owe a lot of my Firearm Knowledge To Mike and the Guys at DSC. They always have all of the Newest and Most Sought after Firearms in stock, and on occasion when they do not have a certain firearm I am looking for they have been able to source it for me very quickly! I commend the way they run their gun ranges, they run it to be a very safe and enjoyable experience for everyone shooting. I also have a close friend that I shoot with often that is wheelchair confined and they have the set up needed to be able to accommodate him so that we can all shoot together. As you can see from the attached photo these guys are out of control. Just look at all their rude and flat out weird responses to 1 star reviews trying to defend themselves. Not once do they care to comment on their patrons who give them 5 star reviews though! I had a horrible experience here months ago. All of the employees were rude, and the owner hid in the back and refused to come out. I never gave them a dollar and never will - yet look at them making up a story to defend themselves on my google review! You should be ashamed, please adjust your attitude. I would never trust any of you with a loaded firearm and you are the type of people who give responsible firearm users a bad rep. I am writing this review to compliment my Salesman Andy and the crew of the Delray Shooting Center. I called the center and asked them if they had a certain gun in stock and Andy told me they just got that model in today. I have been looking for weeks for that gun and it has been out of stock everywhere. I went right over, and Andy took me thru a complete demonstration and breakdown of the gun. Andy wore a mask and so did I the whole time which made me feel more secure in this Covid times. Andy handled all the paper work very professionally and let me use the range with my other guns and the new one for the day. I have taken the CCW class and fingerprinting at Delray Shooting Center and was please as well with the class and instructor. Limited class size and social distancing was my concern but they only allow a very limited class size leaving plenty of spacing between students all wearing masks. The Delray Shooting Center is my new home away from home. I plan to shoot there a lot. read more

The shop, range and staff are awesome. Everyone is quite knowledgeable and this place does not gouge its customers (guns, ammo, and range fees). For those needing CCW classes, the schedule has plenty of time slots. They will also take finger prints manually for applications. My only disappointment is the requirement to purchase a membership for the rifle range. It is listed on the website; however, I did not notice it. At $25 p/p (guest for the members), I think non-members should be able to use if available. This is the only reason I did not rate 5-stars; however, this is a GREAT 5-Star facility. I am from Washington DC and I went here for my first shooting lesson more than a year ago; we continue to come back, the establishment is right near where we stay, and I feel incredibly safe being inside the indoor shooting range (even during the COVID pandemic). I decided to take the plunge into the AR world, having been a trap shooter for 20 years. I am a newbie to this so I decided to contact several gunshops by email to get some basic information on entry level guns, ammo, etc. Michael is the only shop that replied to my questions, and that within 20 minutes of me sending it. I was there that afternoon. As I walked in the door, Andy greeted me and was incredibly polite, very knowledgeable, and most patient...Everything I needed to feel comfortable with a new purchase. Just picked up a gun I ordered. I filled out the paper work and waited for the BC check. Nobody told me what was going on,and when I asked, they acted like I was bothering them. These people need to improve their customer service/relations. I'll never go back nor recommend them to I didn't fill out a form! I was given a laptop and was told to enter data. If it wasn't for me asking "is everything ok" your salesman wouldn't have said a word. A good customer service would be like " it will take a few minutes for FDLE, is there anything else I can help you with? Or, open the box to see if I was satisfied, or at a minimum say "thank you".
