Love flying delta. Crew is always pleasant. Flights are always on time. They have started giving away snacks and drinks. They thanked the passengers for flying with them.

This review is for our recent Delta Air Lines flights (two round trips) into and out of Philadelphia International Airport (PHL). In short, these trips were fine. I checked prices using kayak.com and booked using delta.com. I flew with my fiancee. For all flights, our seats were assigned at the gate. In all cases, Delta automatically seated us next to each other. We flew coach so we always got one middle seat and one window or aisle seat. On one or two flights, we got the exit row, which was nice. I remember at least one of our flights was on a McDonnell Douglas MD-90. For one of the flights, we boarded and sat at the gate in Atlanta for about an hour. This didn't bother me since we weren't in a rush. I just watched Pet Sematary (2019) on my laptop. We flew out of and into Atlanta. Our first round trip, arriving on a Friday and departing on a Monday, booked about three months out, cost $303.60 per person. Our second round trip, arriving on a Saturday and departing the following Sunday (quick turnaround), booked about two months out, cost $360.60 per person. Same season. Delta-estimated flight times were anywhere from 1 hour 55 minutes to 2 hours 9 minutes. In actuality, I think one or more of the flights was slightly under 1 hour 50 minutes (in pure flight time). On a flight into Atlanta, we were one of the last ones to board, so we had to check our roller bags at the gate (free). Unlike some gate checks where you can pick up your bag at the gate at the destination (usually, on smaller jets), this particular check meant we had to pick up our bags at baggage claim in Atlanta. The Delta app was useful in helping us keep track of our checked bags, letting us know the bag tag numbers and which baggage claim carousel in Atlanta to go to. The app also notified us when our bags were available for pick-up. The Delta app gives you a bit of information about your flight including statistics such as the percentage of time your flight is on time. One of our flights had a historical on-time rate of 97%. Our in-flight experiences were fine. No complaints. Each flight included a free drink and and a snack. The snack was a choice of a small bag of Cheez-Its, a single pack of those popular Biscoff cookies (my dad likes to buy boxes of them from Costco), a KIND bar, or almonds (I forget the brand, but it was one of those well-known brands). Not all the snacks I listed were available on every flight, but there were at least two choices on every flight. We flew into and out of gates D12 and D14. Getting through TSA PreCheck at PHL Terminal D was super fast. https://www.yelp.com/biz/tsa-checkpoint-d-philadelphia-international-airport-philadelphia

JetBlue has my heart for now, but Delta treats you mostly like a human, too. One of my biggest fears is being separated from my carry-on bag. I almost had a mini-panic attack when they told me I'd have to valet my bag. I was reassured to learn valet just means they take it at the jet bridge, put it under the plane and then give it right back to you when you land. I told the lady they were much nicer than American Airlines. She said thank you and didn't even take the jab at her competitor. I did think it was absurd that they handed out peanuts in this day and age. Delta usually doesn't travel where I go and is not the lowest price point, but I won't fear to use them again.

Take Delta from Philadelphia to Cancun lay over at Atlanta On our way to Atlanta they ask to pay $2 for earphones which I'm okay with that, but all the other flight from Atlanta to Cancun and coming back they didn't ask for money. On our way back to Philadelphia, first they don't have seat for us, we book the flight months ago. Finally they sat us all the way back next to bathroom. The bathroom smell so bad and I don't think they even clean it, the seat that I have all the wall have spilled on in. Worst part is when we landing for a minute I thought we crashed the landing so hard until the bathroom door wide open. The pilot or attending didn't said anything maybe it happens all the time? I never experience like this before

Great customer service. I was traveling with my friend and infant. The gate staff were very helpful in doing a complimentary check in of our carry on luggage and guided us through boarding and stroller check in. Travel can be stressful with an infant and they made it much more manageable.

There really are not as many options as there were before Airtran was absorbed by southwest, but I'll present my case for JetBlue has become the "best" airline, contingent on these two destinations. I wouldn't try jetblue with a US connection, because it seems far too many of their itineraries have ineffective routing (such as via Boston to go south and west) and not competitive pricing results. However, for their directs, as well as their sensible Caribbean destinations via FLL (from either PHL or BOS or JFK, mostly), you can often get a competitive fare that beats or meets all of the other airlines (both of them!) The 1 bag fee for you and your whole party on same itin can be avoided by paying $99 a year for their premium credit card, or else if you insist on paying a la carte, it's $15 to $23 if planned in advance, $35 for a walk-up (as of this writing). Other airlines don't tend to feature advanced booking bag fee discounts such as this, and I think it's a great incentive. I also think the credit card elimination of bag fees is the way to go because every time my family flies one way, this perk pays for itself. The credit card holder also gets half off in flight purchases, which means $3.50 drinks and $3.50 cheese plates. Prices you can't find anywhere else in the sky, and the drink choices are exceptional, not simply the watered down selection of brands too often given on other carriers. ALL of their planes feature free in flight wifi and TV and satellite radio options (www.flyfi.com). Now for a review involving the crew and employees. These are some very helpful and friendly individuals. The culture of JetBlue seems very customer satisfaction oriented.

The entire check in was very smooth and easy. There were no long lines and no issues. It was a great way to begin what was going to be a long travel day! Navigating the airport itself was easy. The signage at this airport was very clear and it took a relatively short amount of time to locate my gate once I had passed through security. This airport's layout felt simple and did not make me feel rushed while looking for my gate. Boarding was very well organized and all of the staff were friendly throughout the process. American Airlines team members for this flight did a fantastic job of keeping the flight moving smoothly while still being helpful when needed! The best part of my experience was that we departed right on time with no delays, especially since it was a early morning flight out of Philly to Vegas! I initially contacted the company by phone at to ask about availability, pricing, and how soon a technician could visit. The booking process was fairly simple. The person I spoke with on the phone explained the basic service details and gave me an estimated time for the visit. I appreciated that the information was explained clearly instead of having to guess what was included in the service. The technician arrived around the scheduled time and first checked the AC to understand the problem. He explained what he found and discussed the repair before starting the work. I liked this approach because I knew what was going to be done rather than having the work start without any explanation. The actual service took around an hour. The technician was professional and kept the work area reasonably clean. After completing the repair, he tested the AC and explained what had been fixed. The AC was working properly when he finished, which was the main thing I was looking for. One thing I particularly liked was the communication. When I had a question about the service, I was able to contact the company and get an answer. The staff member on the phone was polite and tried to explain the process clearly. There was one area that could be improved. The waiting time was slightly longer than I originally expected, so better communication about the exact arrival time would have made the experience even better. Apart from that, I did not have any major problems with the service. The final experience was positive for me. I found the booking process straightforward, the communication helpful, and the actual service satisfactory. I also appreciated that the technician explained the work instead of simply completing it and leaving. Based on my experience, I would give **Airline Airport Services 4 out of 5 stars**. I would consider using them again if I needed the same type of service in the future. Of course, everyone's experience can be different, but based on my own visit, I was generally satisfied with the service and the way the booking and repair were handled. Overall, the main positives for me were the easy booking process, helpful communication, professional service, and the fact that the problem was resolved. With slightly better timing communication, the experience could have been even better.
