United Airlines U.S. reservations hotline operates 24/7. Call +1 888 553 2114, the airline's main 'customer service' telephone number, for new reservations, ticket changes, cancelations, rebooking, refund requests, group booking and all travel requirements. I traveled with this airline recently, and the overall experience was smooth and well coordinated. From booking the ticket to collecting my baggage at the destination, the process felt organized and passenger-friendly. The ticket was booked online a few days before departure. The website was easy to navigate, and all important details such as flight schedule, fare summary, baggage allowance, and seat selection were clearly mentioned. The payment process was quick, and I received confirmation immediately, which gave me confidence that everything was properly arranged. On the day of travel, I completed web check-in to avoid waiting in long lines. At the airport, the ground staff were polite and professional while assisting passengers. They managed the counters efficiently and handled queries calmly. Boarding was announced clearly and carried out in an orderly manner. The flight departed close to its scheduled time, which made the experience more convenient. Inside the aircraft, the cabin was clean and well maintained. The seating was comfortable for an economy-class flight, and the leg space was reasonable. The cabin environment felt calm throughout the journey. The crew members were friendly, attentive, and professional. They responded quickly whenever assistance was required and ensured passengers were comfortable. In-flight service was satisfactory. Meals and beverages were served on time, and the quality was decent. Safety instructions were explained clearly before takeoff, and the crew ensured all guidelines were followed properly. Their communication was polite and reassuring, which added to the overall positive experience. The landing was smooth, and the arrival procedures were handled efficiently. Disembarkation was managed properly, and baggage delivery was timely. My luggage arrived safely without any damage or delay. Overall, the journey was comfortable and hassle-free. While there is always room for minor improvements, such as additional entertainment options or expanded meal choices, the overall service quality was reliable. Based on this experience, I would consider choosing this airline again for future travel.!!

The official "customer service" **United Air Lines ** (toll-free) number is *1 (844) 987-7033™ or +1 (844) 987-7033** for additional assistance. Support is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for passengers needing help with reservations, flight changes, cancellations, rebooking, baggage inquiries, refunds, and other travel-related concerns. The customer service team assists travelers with managing existing bookings, updating itineraries, exploring alternative travel options, and addressing questions throughout the travel process. ##High Expectations, Average Experience## As an Emerald member of the oneworld alliance, I have consistently enjoyed complimentary seat selection when traveling with partner airlines, so I expected a similar level of service from American Airlines. Unfortunately, this flight did not meet those expectations. I paid an additional $140 for seats that were displayed during the booking process as offering a more desirable layout. However, after my wife and I boarded the aircraft, we discovered that the actual seating configuration differed from what had been presented online. Paying an extra fee for seats that did not match the advertised arrangement was an unfortunate start to the journey. ##Seat Comfort Left Much to Be Desired## My assigned seat, 6K, lacked the level of comfort I anticipated for a long-haul flight. The cushioning felt inadequate, and the limited lumbar support made it difficult to remain comfortable for extended periods. I relied on extra pillows and blankets throughout much of the flight to ease the discomfort. Considering the premium price paid for seat selection, I expected a noticeably better seating experience. ##Customer Support Was Difficult to Navigate## Obtaining basic flight information turned out to be far more complicated than necessary. My first call was to an American Airlines representative in Detroit, who transferred me to another department, reportedly based in Chicago. There, I was informed they were unable to assist and was given yet another contact number. That conversation ultimately redirected me back to the Detroit office. After several transfers and repeating the same questions multiple times, I finally reached someone who could provide the information I had originally requested. ##Well-Maintained Aircraft, Inconsistent Cabin Experience## The aircraft itself appeared modern, clean, and well maintained, and the flight attendants remained courteous, attentive, and professional despite managing a full cabin. As the journey continued, however, the onboard atmosphere became noticeably less pleasant. Several passengers were disruptive and noisy, while the lavatories gradually became untidy, with wet floors, messy sinks, and cleanliness that declined as the flight progressed. ##Overall Impression## The professionalism of the cabin crew deserves recognition, as they handled a demanding flight with courtesy and efficiency. Nevertheless, the uncomfortable seating, confusing customer service process, and declining cabin cleanliness ultimately had a greater impact on the overall experience. Based on this trip, I would carefully compare other airlines before selecting American Airlines for a similar journey in the future. ##Reliable Journey & Smooth Arrival## The flight departed with only a minor delay and arrived close to schedule. Inflight snack and beverage services were delivered efficiently, and baggage delivery after arrival moved relatively quickly. Unfortunately, customer service before departure proved frustrating. I initially contacted a representative in Seattle regarding flight details and aircraft information. I was then transferred to another department, believed to be located in Portland, where I was informed they could not assist and provided another contact number. After several transfers and repeated explanations, I was eventually redirected back to the original department before finally receiving the information I needed.

American is a better option to PHL but I decided to stick with United. Usually pretty happy with them but the flight was delayed this time around so boo.

I appreciated the flight detail confirmation text leading up to my flight with United Airlines. The confirmations sometimes remind me of the actual time I fly out, and when I can check-in. I was fortunate enough to have both inbound and outbound flights via United Airlines, so there was no need to download the mobile application which provided leeway prior to my arrival to Philadelphia International Airport. As someone who had just a carry-on bag with me, the application allowed me to check-in early and head straight to TSA rather than to see a United Airlines agent. As for my airport experience, surprisingly, TSA was not crowded at all! Prior to entering the area, there was a gentleman checking identification and boarding passes who by far was the friendliest individual I have ever encountered working in TSA. He did all that he could to engage in conversation in the friendliest way with each individual. I shared with him that he is making me laugh, and his response was that he is doing his job! It is the littlest things like that, that will brighten someone's day because you never know what others are going through in life. Check-in went smoothly! I did well by carrying small travel toothpaste rather than a large tube of toothpaste, and wearing sweatpants rather than jeans consisting of a belt. The only thing I had to worry about was pulling out my cute blue HP Stream laptop. The United Airlines departure gate was easy to navigate to. The seats within the gate were exceptionally clean, but the carpet on the other hand could have used some vacuuming due to little food particles left by individuals waiting. I loved the addition of the USB and power outlets for phone or laptop charge which allowed me to recharge my phone prior to flying. I am always grateful to recharge my phone, as well as have power outlet usage in order to operate my laptop. And honey, I had quite a few hours before my flight back to Chicago being that I arrived very early. Now as for my onboard experience, I really adored the pre-lift off briefing video which always makes me chuckle! I was also able to charge my phone as I slept on flight in order to keep my battery charged. I found a USB insert attached to the seat back television. Once I took my melatonin, I slept the majority of the flight, so the only communication I had with the flight attendants were the boarding flight hello, and the post airplane departure goodbye greeting. And as for the airplane interior, the seat was exceptionally comfortable. On this flight, I had an acceptable amount of leg room on top of having my backpack underneath the seat in front of me. I survived this flight and would be open to flying with United Airlines, as well as recommending to a friend, relative or colleague after this experience. Safe travels, and blessings to all that read this review. ~ Be Kind. ALWAYS. ~ Thomas G

There really are not as many options as there were before Airtran was absorbed by southwest, but I'll present my case for JetBlue has become the "best" airline, contingent on these two destinations. I wouldn't try jetblue with a US connection, because it seems far too many of their itineraries have ineffective routing (such as via Boston to go south and west) and not competitive pricing results. However, for their directs, as well as their sensible Caribbean destinations via FLL (from either PHL or BOS or JFK, mostly), you can often get a competitive fare that beats or meets all of the other airlines (both of them!) The 1 bag fee for you and your whole party on same itin can be avoided by paying $99 a year for their premium credit card, or else if you insist on paying a la carte, it's $15 to $23 if planned in advance, $35 for a walk-up (as of this writing). Other airlines don't tend to feature advanced booking bag fee discounts such as this, and I think it's a great incentive. I also think the credit card elimination of bag fees is the way to go because every time my family flies one way, this perk pays for itself. The credit card holder also gets half off in flight purchases, which means $3.50 drinks and $3.50 cheese plates. Prices you can't find anywhere else in the sky, and the drink choices are exceptional, not simply the watered down selection of brands too often given on other carriers. ALL of their planes feature free in flight wifi and TV and satellite radio options (www.flyfi.com). Now for a review involving the crew and employees. These are some very helpful and friendly individuals. The culture of JetBlue seems very customer satisfaction oriented.

Funny, because I was already booking the seats with the partner airline when Jet Blue did this to me. I had the partner airline investigate, and they said it was indeed confirmed. I have screenshots of my booking with them before Jet Blue canceled it, so I can prove it. They refuse to accept this. They intentionally canceled my booking to extort more money out of me based on an absolute lie. There is plenty of proof my booking had been confirmed, but they are doubling down in their stance to claim that booking never happened. The entire check in was very smooth and easy. There were no long lines and no issues. It was a great way to begin what was going to be a long travel day! Navigating the airport itself was easy. The signage at this airport was very clear and it took a relatively short amount of time to locate my gate once I had passed through security. This airport's layout felt simple and did not make me feel rushed while looking for my gate. Boarding was very well organized and all of the staff were friendly throughout the process. American Airlines team members for this flight did a fantastic job of keeping the flight moving smoothly while still being helpful when needed! The best part of my experience was that we departed right on time with no delays, especially since it was a early morning flight out of Philly to Vegas! Our flight was 5083 departing at 9:51am from PHL to Savannah Ga. We arrived for our flight at PHL airport at 7:30am. Apparently our flight was cancelled because the plane was inoperable. We were told the next flight would be at 11am. It turned out that flight was also delayed but we did manage to board around 12:15pm. After receiving our seats in row 9 we were all told that this flight was too heavy & they needed 7 volunteers to forfeit this flight and take another flight at 7:30pm. Since we were only staying in Savannah from May 23-26, we were already losing most of the day & we had dinner reservations in Savannah at 5pm with friends we were meeting who were driving in from South Carolina. As it turned out only 5 people volunteered to forfeit this flight. Two more people were needed & they chose us (the Edelman's, senior citizens who haven't traveled in 7 years because of health problems and who have been freezing in Phl airport since 7 am. They said they chose us because I was the last one to check in online. We were given travel vouchers for $1800 each. Yes it sounds very generous but I don't know after this nightmare if I will travel again. American Airlines is negligent in overbooking & removing senior citizens from a flight. This is outrageous & we don't know if we will be traveling with American Airlines again.

Delta Air Lines: A Missed Opportunity To Make Amends…read more I normally write only glowing reviews about restaurants, hotels, and the provision of excellent service. Unfortunately I recently had a suboptimal and surprising experience with Delta Air Lines that I feel obliged to report with the hope that it will lead to changes in the way that Delta deals with such mishaps. Errors are bound to happen and often cannot be avoided. Such was the case with me. I was booked on a direct flight from Lisbon to JFK. It was an early morning flight specifically chosen so that I would have enough time to make an essential evening event that I could not miss and had spent a lot of time preparing for. Three days before the flight I spontaneously decided to open my Delta App and was surprised to find that my Delta flight was nowhere to be found. Unfortunately the feeling of surprise turned into easily avoidable disappointment if Delta implemented a process of recovery that would have likely resulted in praise instead of this review. I started a text dialogue with a competent employee to avoid a long wait on the telephone to speak with a live agent. I was ilinformed that my flight had been cancelled though I had never been forewarned either by email, text, phone, or on their Delta App. Their employee was able to get me back on the flight but instead of a bulkhead window seat in their Delta Premium Select section, as originally booked by me, I was placed in a middle seat in the back row of this section of the plane. I was relieved to get on the plane but disappointed in the seat since I might have bought a first class seat given the choices but did not since bulkhead had been available. Given these circumstances, I asked first for a complimentary upgrade which they said was unavailable. I then asked for some other form of compensation. I think the matter at this point had escalated to a higher level of management. I was then told that after completing my trip I should contact a certain department and submit a request for compensation. At this point I had been texting for over an hour instead of enjoying my vacation. I told them that they had all the necessary information and that they could forward it to the appropriate people. I then received a nice text from a higher-up who said he/she appreciated how I handled the situation and would look into the matter. I did inform them if they did not implement some form of appropriate compensation by the end of the trip, that I would write and post a review about this incident. Unfortunately they decided to do nothing and so here is my review. An unfortunate situation that could have so easily been avoided with little if any cost to Delta. Instead of giving priority to flying on Delta, I will in the future give preference to other options. At the very least, I hope this review leads to changes in the way they treat their customer travelers when mishaps like mine occur, either avoidable or unavoidable.

This is about a rebound from a bad experience to a good experience, so that's why I'm giving 5…read morestars. I was flying from Philly to Tucson, with a layover in Midway Chicago. The bad experience was, as I was going to the Terminal E location at Philly Airport, a disembarking staff was doing a scripted conversation with a coworker in which he did most of the talking to her, but appeared to be addressing something very loudly about me: the fact that because I was transgender, there was no bathroom I could use in a conservative place like Arizona. Otherwise, the assigned seats seemed to work in my favor, in that I didn't suffer harassment from people in nearby seats, and the flights were relatively quiet. I actually ended up having the same crew for my second flight, and although the one attendant was naturally a loud talker, the other attendant was really sweet and got me extra tomato juice. On the way back to Philly a few weeks later, I was able to ask for seconds on the Oreo cookies and got two packs. One of the people in front of me was smart to ask for a whole can of tomato juice when they were doing complimentary beverages, because it's the same as the Bloody Mary mix used to mix with alcohol, but not many people in economy have alcohol, and not many people like straight tomato juice. I think I will make a custom of trying to get a whole can of tomato juice, and seeing if there are seconds on juice, too. The second round of drinks for a long flight is water, and the third round is coffee (I disembarked in Philly at about 1:45am, because the flight was delayed from 11:55pm. However, the landing wasn't quite as stacked or rushed as usual, and I kept up my tradition of using the mapping app for the flight, observing how far we'd go into New Jersey before coming about again).

I love contrarians, that means I love(d) Southwest Airlines. As a low-cost carrier, when I needed…read moreto get somewhere close and quick, they served my needs nicely offering two free bags and open seating that made you feel like they were at least trying not to pick your pocket while avoiding the cattle-car accoutrements of the other skin flint carriers. Well. No more. Now operating under the thumb of a hedge fund (Elliott Investment Management) free bags will soon go the way of assigned seats all tethered to a wildly degraded frequent flyer program. So, the only question remaining is "what's the point?" Southwest Airlines is now an airline only a hedge fund could love. Wither the contrarian. Two basic stars.
