I love Delta. They have upgraded their planes and cabins in recent years and their service has also improved. If you get to fly on Delta One, you will also enjoy a very upscale experience. The TF Green station is basic...flights to ATL and DTW...some to LGA.....but the world is at your disposal from any one of those hubs. They used to have more flights to ATL and DTW, but now they are limited so sometimes you either have a long layover or a very tight one.... They usually are very efficient and their flight schedule is pretty much ON time....so that is reliable enough. My last flight was in Delta Comfort and they drinks on board and premium snacks were really nice. I love their Kettle chips and pistachios... read more

Delta has served us well. Occasionally some things can't be helped but they do the best when they can. This airport is very small., which has advantages and disadvantages. There are very few eateries near the Delta gates and maybe Delta can encourage them to provide more. There is also avery small staff here but they were helpful. They were expecting a small plane with little luggage space so they took our carryon bags to check. The did offer early boarding and free baggage to destination which we too. But it seems other passengers were having problems getting their medical devices onboard as there was an error in the paperwork. Anyway, the did get us on the plane for a departure close to onetime. We fly delta when we can get a good schedule. And these days that is not always easy. read more

Delta is awful. I purchased tickets for my kids to get home for Thanksgiving from college and those were changed 4 times already, with the latest being a 6 hour layover in Atlanta (from 1.5 hour layover that I purchased). Now some of those flights that were changed are still listed on the Delta website, with the economy seats sold out but the much higher priced seats readily available, which leads me to believe that Delta cancels the cheap tickets to then resells them for a much higher margin, steering the lowest paying customers towards the flights no one wants. read more

I've been flying Delta for a while and at this point, it is my third year as a Diamond Medallion, the top tier of the Delta SkyMiles program. I've been to lots of airports, boarded lots of Delta flights and this operation at PVD is as good as any of them. There is enough seating in the gate area if you don't mind using the table over on the other side for Southwest, where there are power outlets. The welcome announcement by the gate agent included the usual pleasantries and then it was time to board the flight where at least the first announcements were correct. I didn't hear the rest as I was already on board. Flight to Atlanta was comfortable enough. As it's over 900 miles, there was a meal today in First. I will continue to fly Delta and when this airport gets a Sky Club, they'll get a fifth star. read more

It's been awhile since flying Delta! Very impressed on time and early. Efficient online research and reservations. Flight crew in sharp uniforms and professional and polite and friendly. Enjoyed Coach section sort of a junior First class! . I elected to use sky lounge in Atlanta Gate B and omg I forgot how for just a little investment in minimal fee one could enjoy the club beverages light meal snacks and country club comfort! I'll be back.... Delta was ready when I was !!!! read more

Thank you Delta Airlines! Goodness knows it is a tough time to fly anywhere right now, but Delta made an otherwise trying experience so much better. Our plane was delayed on our return journey from Key West, but when it looked like we were going to miss our connection at LaGuardia, Delta staff worked with us to proactively change our tickets through another hub. We still got delayed due to maintenance issues going from Atlanta back home to Providence, but staff kept their humor and consideration to the very end. We were exhausted by the time we got home, but felt buoyed by the expression of humanity that was so clearly in evidence from Delta staff. We also greatly appreciated the free headphones to watch a great selection of movies and shows, and the snack choice was awesome too. Great job! read more

Worst airline I've ever flew on! Flying with the family which included my 5yr old and they would not issue us the 3 seats at once. We had to wait until we got to the gate and wait in another line to request a seat. Mind you I had to go thru this process again at the next gate on the connecting flight and the same bullshit process for the return flight. The most unprofessional staff at the gates. Definitely lacking on their personalities. Why wouldn't you broad the rear of the plane first after all the pre-board and the 1st and business. So they won't bump and bang the shit out of all the seated passengers in the cabin. And they definitely don't clean the cabin or the bathroom. I used the bathroom as soon as I boarded and nobody was in it before me ,it was the 1st flight in the am. And the toilet was disgusting. I'll attach the image. Awful awful experience. Delta announced yesterday they cancelled service out of PVD from May 13 until the end of September. I was forced to pay $244 more to rebook a flight on American in less than two weeks. I also have flights booked in August to Denver. The Delta representatives I talked to did not know service was suspended and said they couldn't give me a refund for my Aug flights because even though Delta wasn't flying, the flights hadn't been canceled in their system. They said they could give me a credit which I obviously can't use if they aren't flying. Delta accepted a bail out and they are playing games to keep customers money which I need to book another airline. Do not fly on Delta and contact your representatives and insist they pay back the bailout now and get no further money. I will not fly Delta ever agin. read more

Trying to cancel a flight is now an act of congress in Delta Airlines. If you call customer service you get a recording to go to the website, if you ask for a representative, you get a voicemail that due to a high call volume your call cannot be answered, try again later. If you go online, you get an error message that states "oops, there must have been an error", try again later. SO how do we cancel a flight if you cannot contact anybody either online or by phone? Is this on purpose by the company. Terrible service. read more

Truthfully delta should not even get one star. almost every time you fly them they are delayed. left vegas 2 hour delay. Now leaving new port rhode island delayed 2 half hours. Delta has become a 2nd rate airline trying to pass itself off as a top shelf airline. Every single time I fly Delta its becomes a bad experience. Ive started to tell my office to try to put me on anything but delta. there not worth the travel miles they've made me late or put me intown too many times in the middle of the night. read more
