We…read moreknew it couldn't be a clogged toilet as why would two toilets not drain at the same time and drains backup. We still attempted to plunge to no avail. My husband tried to use a plumbing snake in the front yard clean outs but it didn't hit anything 20 feet out. We called our home watery service provider for emergency service but didn't hear back all day. We decided to call Scottsdale Plumbing as they were listed as a 24 hour emergency service. We called and spoke to a women who transferred us to a dispatcher. We received a call back right away by Brad who said he could be here within the hour, which he was. Brad arrived and was able to push through whatever was clogging the pipe out in the middle of the street, according to the length of the plumbing tool used. He was not sure if it is a root issue or a misalignment in the pipe but was able to currently resolve. We still need to schedule a scope to see the exact problem, but for now, we can use our plumbing. Brad was very friendly and helpful. We appreciated his prompt response and professionalism!

I scheduled a plumbing service with Accent Plumbing after speaking with Jessica on June 2, 2026…read more She told me the earliest available appointment was June 7 between 3:00-5:00 p.m. I explained that I had a medical appointment at 3:00 p.m. and would not be available during that window. Jessica then offered June 8 between 1:00-3:00 p.m., which I accepted. On June 7, I unexpectedly received a text at 1:30 p.m. stating that technician Hyrum Hatch was on the way. I didn't see the text until about 1:50 p.m., so I immediately called Accent Plumbing. Jessica answered, and I reminded her that my appointment had been moved to June 8 between 1:00-3:00 p.m. She said she remembered our conversation and that I had been unavailable from 3:00-5:00 p.m. I explained that was exactly why we had rescheduled for the following day. She placed me on hold to contact the technician and then confirmed that we would keep the agreed-upon June 8 appointment between 1:00-3:00 p.m. On June 8, I waited until 2:45 p.m. without receiving any notification that the technician was on the way, so I called Accent Plumbing for an update. Jessica answered again and told me, in a dismissive tone, that the technician would not arrive until 3:00-5:00 p.m. I explained that I had another appointment from 4:00-5:00 p.m. and asked why no one had contacted me to let me know the appointment window had changed. Rather than addressing my concern, she simply repeated multiple times that the technician would arrive between 3:00-5:00 p.m. and eventually offered to reschedule me for Friday. I rescheduled for Friday between 1:00-3:00 p.m., but was then told that the technician still might not arrive until 3:00-5:00 p.m., making the scheduled appointment window essentially meaningless. At this point, it has taken over a week just to get someone scheduled to come to my home. Communication has been poor, appointment windows have not been honored, and I had to repeatedly call the company myself to find out what was happening. If you're scheduling with Accent Plumbing, plan on keeping your entire afternoon open because the appointment window does not appear to be reliable. I was also disappointed with the customer service I received from Jessica. I found her communication to be dismissive and unprofessional, especially when I was simply trying to understand why my scheduled appointment had changed without any notice. I informed Jessica that I would be leaving this review. I ended up going with a whole new plumbing company only based off of Jessica's extremely poor customer service. Update 06/13/2026: The owner, Steve, personally called me the following Tuesday regarding my review to apologize for how the situation was handled. Before reaching out, he took the time to listen to the phone calls between Jessica and me. He explained that the issue stemmed from a scheduling error on their end that was not properly communicated to me, which ultimately caused the entire situation. Steve also acknowledged that the calls were not handled appropriately and shared that he had addressed the matter with Jessica as a learning opportunity to help ensure a similar situation doesn't happen again in the future. He also asked if there was anything else he could do to assist me, which I genuinely appreciated. I wanted to update my review because Steve's willingness to personally investigate the issue, take accountability, and follow up with me speaks volumes about his character and leadership as the owner. While my initial experience was frustrating, I truly appreciate the way he handled the situation and his commitment to making things right.

He was careful working around our drip lines and left the front yard spotless afterwards. This was a big job that we were dreading getting done but they made it surprisingly painless. When he came back, it was a different experience. The wrong type of tape and pipe connector was used for a gas pipe that he installed in our kitchen. He used a type tape and a connector for water not gas. The wrong pipe connector type was not noticed until maintenance was being done. Bo discussed personal and political issues which isn't professional. He was there to do a job. He left the work area a mess and didn't attempt to clean up. Bo didn't appear to want to work. When he first arrived, he said he was unable to shut the main gas line off. We had to do it. He didn't have any WD-40 or other type of lubricant to complete the job, fortunately we had some available.
