Jam packed It's consultant go-home day so not unexpectedly so. The food assortment was stingy and snacks were spartan. The Atlanta lounge is my benchmark, and this was its runtish little cousin.

    Hot breakfast. Sausage, omelette, Grits.

This lounge is top tier. I arrived here early in the morning 5am ish. The staff was alert and eager to help and the hot food was out and ready. The staff walked around offering to get us coffee and orange juice. Definitely stop by if you have the chance!

Smaller than the previous club thanks to typical Louisiana bureaucracy and the unintelligent running the airport. The footprint is tiny. The seating is terrible the restrooms are cramped and overcrowded. I feel for the staff stuck here for decades as they have to deal with this really lackluster design and significant downgrade in quality of club space. You check in downstairs which is great, because most people trying to enter are turned away. No, first class buy ups don't gain you entry. No, your credit card doesn't include membership. No, your credit card doesn't include a guest. No, your entry level codeshare elite status doesn't grant you entry. So once you pass the initial tests you can take the lift or climb the stairs. They have podiums to speak with a delta travel specialist upstairs. They have a small food trough presentation where most guests don't have the common courtesy or basic food safety education in how to keep the area clean. In the right far corner is a beautiful bar. If your a soda drinker get in line and go to the bar as the guest self service soda machine still doesn't work. Above the food trough on the shelves they have cookbooks from famous local chefs and legendary restaurants. It'd be great if they could actually cook from these books, but everything appears to be the packaged quick service food that takes little to no prep before presentation. In the far left corner are the restrooms. Cramped, overcrowded, but at least they have touch less door controls on both sides. No airfield views from the windows. Just dingy terminal views. At least they have free slow WiFi and newspapers. It's not that the club is great, it's just that being with the rest of the customers in the terminal is such a miserable experience. When the restrooms were overcrowded in the club we left and went to the main terminal public ones. I wasn't about to stand there and wait.

Well done Delta with the new and improved sky club at MSY! I don't come home very often but always make a stop at the sky club on the way out. Now, compared to the old sky club at the old airport this was a dramatic upgrade. I've been in some small clubs and this one was definitely more spacious. Now, it's not the largest one but still very good. On check in you can take the elevator or the stairs up to the actual club. The bathrooms have no touch entrance (love it)! It has a long layout but not very wide. I was flying out in the morning so it wasn't super busy and there was plenty of room. The food bar had a fair amount of breakfast food, nothing that I could eat with my dietary restrictions, though. The bar is towards the end of the food bar. They had hot coffee and fresh fruit. But my question is, where did all the cubed cheese go???? I haven't seen any in a while, at any sky club. This makes me sad.

What a great new lounge in the new airport. The entrance and the staff were amazing. The food options were great and there were lots of drink choices. The bar is cute and tucked away in the back. Can't wait to enjoy more time before flights in this wonderful space.

Tiny lounge but I don't care because as I walked in they were serving pre peeled shrimp and oysters!!! Never seen that before in any airline club let alone a little Delta lounge. Staff were super efficient and friendly. Honestly besides is the only thing to complain about and with all of the other food they had as well I'm not complaining.

Fabulous decoration, my wife and I are thinking about doing the same at home.

Honestly I've had a range of experiences here, but it's the people that make it AMAZING. I'm a frequent traveler for business, family, and leisure... having hundreds of visits to dozens of sky club locations, I can say with certainty that people are correct about the side drawback. That said, it will be moving into the new terminal within a week or so and I imagine no one will be able to make that complaint anymore. Don't really see complaints about the staff there... no surprise considering the staff is amazing. Special shout outs to Rubin (sp?) behind the bar and the front desk crew (especially the kind gentleman who has been there for some time now). The manager was very friendly too, greeting my family and I as we came in. May not be the most stunning club, may not have the fancy art of others, but has a true unique vibe that is seaux New Orleans. It's truly the people and the care they put out. Laissez les bons temps rouler!!!

I don't do Sky Clubs often, but this was close to my gate at MSY, and I was there early, so I bought a pass. It was on the smallish side, but has decent amenities. Continental breakfast food was available while I was there, which wasn't fancy, but fine. (I enjoyed the grits!) I relaxed in a comfortable seat while my phone charged. The bathroom was clean and offered extra stuff like lotion. I'd go back.

This skyclub is always a welcomed oasis from the hustle and bustle of the airport. Oh and a tip: they make the BEST bloody Mary's.

    Fresh Oysters!

I have to say, this was not only some of the best food we had in NOLA, but one of the best Sky Clubs stateside! The chicken and andouille gumbo was amazing, the fresh crawfish pasta was delicious - and they we're shucking fresh oysters as you walked in! Well done Delta!!

The club here is quite smaller than the other locations I have visited. Stopped in on the first leg of my international journey. The service was great, friendly (typical of Louisiana), and the jambalaya was good, too! Not much happening in here, but it was a nice reprieve from the hustle and bustle of the airport outside.

This is a great club. They have a full bar with complimentary cocktails and the Delta representatives are very helpful and friendly.

The worst Skylounge in the US perhaps. Infuriating incompetent staff. To quote the staff member at the front desk, "not here, sir"

Food options are pretty mediocre. Pretty sure the bagels arrived here in plastic bags. It's nice enough but not great.

Almost an hour to get two burgers and wings and the employees outnumber the customers. Ridiculous!!!

Walking in at 1:30 on a beautifully sunny Wed, we fully expected a wait. Instead, our two empty seats beckoned to us like a pretty girl winking at us across a bar in college. Marvin has been promoted to Beverage Manager. He left his bar in very good hands. The two young dudes carrying his torch were great. Very friendly and well aware each time we finished our drink and needed a reload. They're well-trained in the art of concocting the Sazerac we love. Sitting for 2 hours watching the regular turnover of the precious seats at the Carousel is still big fun. And having a friendly chat with the constant turnover of strangers sitting next to us is part of the unique charm of the Carousel Bar. As we were leaving Corey the bartender let us know management is shutting down next month for a few weeks for much needed repairs & renovations so the Carousel can add another 50-60 years to its legacy.

The cocktail list looked interesting, but the two we had tasted pretty standard, inline with what you'd expect from a hotel bar (it is inside Hotel Monteleone). There is a small bar bites menu - the Cubano was tasty but a bit overpriced at $18. The service was okay. We ended up getting water from our server that brought us food as the bartenders were too busy making cocktails. There was a jazz band playing on Thursday night when we visited.
