Mostly paper products - for plates, utensils, cups, etc, which is different. Can't compare to the larger airport clubs- they offered a good product with what was available. Typically, I do not eat at the clubs, I am seeking a quiet place to wait away from the crowds and the benefit is included with my AMEX card. Yes, this is a small lounge, but it is clean and the staff are friendly and efficient. On a Saturday afternoon it was pretty quiet, which made for a nice, relaxing visit. It's quiet (12pm on a Saturday at least), it's clean, the staff is super friendly, and they've got self serve snacks and drinks (yes, it's not as good as the Centurion Lounge but at least you don't have to walk 3 terminals over). Beer, wine, and liquor are all available. I don't see any signs about limiting to one free beverage. Snacks today were some sandwich wraps, soups, cheeses, meat, and wild rice, potato salad, and bean salad. Pretty decent selection compared to what I was expecting. Sure it's not big, but it has just enough to make it not worth hustling multiple terminals over if you're just looking to grab something quick before your flight. This Delta Sky Club is actually the smallest Sky Club I've EVER been to... and I thought the one in DTW was small. I was awaiting my flight back to DFW and had a few hours to spare before my flight so I decided to head over here. It's a SUPER small lounge and I understand that PHL is not a Delta hub but I don't even know if they can call this one a Sky Club because it's so small! The food selection is also pretty limited as it's a small club and there were quite several people in the club. It's really crowded because of the small size and you can definitely feel it get stuffy in here. I was able to drink a mimosa but I would have definitely opted for the Centurion Lounge had it not closed so early. I hope they are able to expand soon! read more

"Let's go to the better part of the club" I said to my husband. Wait; there is no better part. What you see is what you get -- and that ain't much. It's small. It's dark. Seats are crammed together. For entertainment, you can listen to other people's phone conversations. (Hey, you can't help it! No privacy!) The restroom is shabby, and there only two stalls and one sink. Might've been better off sitting in the concourse. BUT -- they do serve the same food as the other clubs. There's no bar. It's help yourself, which actually I like. (I'm particular about the ratio of mix to vodka and the right number of cubes in my bloody mary.) what a disappointment. this is supposed to be an exclusive club where the most exclusive persons that belong to the delta club have to rest and wait for their flights. imaging it I was so excited to see what is that the top clients of delta get to experience. as I came in I got to see that this particular club is very small and claustrophobic with some chairs and tables, the refreshments were second class at best and the drinks were very genetic. I did not feel exclusive at all and I was not impressed with what was offered visually and in any other sense in this lounge. I really expected more from Delta. read more

I could go either 3 or 4 stars but considering all the undeserved 1 stars (in my opinion) I rounded up. Maybe I got lucky but the lounge is empty at the moment. I'm not feeling claustrophobic at all. There's only one outlet in the lounge I'm sitting in which is a bummer, bananas were pretty old, and my table is super wobbly. However they have a good selection of food (veggies, hummus, dressing, greens, 2 types of soup, popcorn, bananas, apples, cheese...), a Starbucks coffee machine, fast internet, and very friendly people working here. It's definitely better than not having a lounge at all. If there were more outlets I'd rate it a "5" - that just carries a bit of weight for me. read more

This is probably the saddest Delta Sky Club I've been to in any airport. It's small, cramped, and there is NO bar (a few bottles for you to self-serve and I hear there's an honor code where you get one drink for free and are supposed to pay $1 for each additional drink). The food options looked weak and nothing felt comfortable and exclusive about this "club". I walked in, saw what it was and left SMH. Still 2 stars because the Delta employees at the check-in desk were very friendly and understanding. However, I highly doubt I'll be back anytime soon. read more

This is a smaller version of a Delta Club compared to most that I've been to. In fact it might be the smallest of a dozen or so that I've been to. With that said it still has a good selection of snacks and beverages to enjoy while waiting for your next flight. They don't have a bartender but they do have a "help yourself" area where you can pour yourself a beer from the tap or wine or cocktail made on your own. Overall it was a nice stay but it was a bit cramped for me to say it was awesome. Enjoy! read more

I am sitting in the Sky club right now, and I have just realized that I've become an airline snob. But I truly think the 2 star rating is accurate. Size: This is the tiniest sky club I've ever been to. There are only about 40 chairs here, so I can't imagine what the atmosphere is like during peak hours. Electrical outlets: This is really annoying. There are not many places to charge electronics. Food and beverages: Typical selection of sky clubs. I'm here at 6am, and there is a selection of bagels, muffins, English muffins, spreads, and fruit. I never drink alcohol at sky clubs, but I did notice the alcohol selection is self serve. All I saw was beer on tap, but I assume there would be other selections later in the day. There's a sign stating a Philadelphia law about serving alcohol (look at the accompanied photo) but I doubt it's strictly enforced. To be fair, PHL is not one of Delta's hubs, so there shouldn't be expectations that the sky club should be as grandiose as those in ATL or SLC. But I honestly think it simply shouldn't exist in the first place in PHL. read more

This is a remodeled Sky club located outside the D Terminal D security . I was there for the thanksgiving holidays. It has a very clean feel. Its very limited in seating with computer stations and a open self-serve bar . The only down side guest are only allowed 1 free drink by PA state law. After that 1 dollar per drink. They used the"honor system" you are to keep track of how many drinks you had . Keep in mind the service desk can't see the drink bar...Other than that the staff are super helpful with flight information and changing my seat etc. read more

SO small that I was amazed - the only saving grace for ratings was the welcoming staff and the self pour bar with soda fountain. Being a non-alcohol drinker I like getting my own soft drinks but if I was a drinker I would definitely like to pour my own as well. The walls are scuffed because you can't bet by the chairs and people without tip toeing around. The wi-fi is so slowwwwwww....but better than sitting in a cramped gate area. read more

One of the smallest clubs I've visited in the US. Seats a total of maybe 50 people. Feels very cramped. Features a self-service beverage station and all the typical snacks. Apparently they use the bathroom fixtures as an all-purpose drain since the urinal backs up a bit with what looked like Crisco oil. Yuck. read more

The Delta Sky Club matches the low achievement of the rest of the airport. The facilities look like an old Comfort Inn breakfast area. It's a great value at free. This doesn't really compare to the original Philly Crown Club which was in Terminal A, but it's better than nothing. It has an obscure location tucked away by the Earl of Sandwich food court. Not very big for a Sky Club and has a more European/ Modern club look. The people there are very friendly and the room is clean and kept up nicely. read more

"Nobody could've landed that plane like I did." -- Flight (2012) Sometimes I wonder why they bother. I love Delta, I only fly Delta, I rave about Delta even when I have a less than awesome experience. I often visit the Sky Clubs as my American Express card gives me access. I'm annoyed enough that I cannot get my traveling companions in with me anymore starting May 1st (without paying) - who flies alone unless on a business trip - even then? But this DSC should not even be able to be called a Sky Club. Small is an understatement. Maybe 24 chairs in the whole place. The drinks are self-service (even the alcohol) with a sign posted that says anything more than 1 alcoholic beverage has to be paid for at the front (seriously? who polices that?). The food bar is small and was decimated when I walked in and it was probably 20 minutes before someone came along and restocked. I didn't see a single person come and clear tables until we were about to leave - so even open tables/chairs were not really open (how would you know)? And even with the lack of seating, patrons were taking up 1-2 extra seats with all their carry-on crap, sport coats, etc. I did have a semi-comfier seat for the hour before my flight - but my first class seat on the MD-90 was much roomier and nicer to sit on than that I had in the DSC. This place needs an overhaul and maybe a bartender. Oh yeah, and more space. Very disappointing - I guess I'm spoiled flying out of Atlanta and San Francisco all the time. read more

As I type this, there is an infant in the bathroom, wailing in sadness and upset. I can not blame the infant, for this lounge is a gulag: a small, cramped, windowless, depressing prison. The only thing to recommend this Sky Club is the free liquor, and even then it's a toss up between here and the gates. At least there, you can feel the sun on your face. I've been to three lounges in the last two days, including the Centurion Lounge in Dallas. Does this compare with the CL? No. This is a much smaller space. But that's actually a benefit. I think all the negative reviews on here have chased a lot of people off, because there is ample seating. Getting a spot near a plug was no issue. I love having a full, self-serve bar. My drinks, my way. The people up front are helpful, there's plenty of amenities, and the food is solid. There's no 5-course meal to be had, but the lentils were great, and the hummus was solid. Actually, there's some cookies I need to go try as well. This place is nice, you should visit. read more

Delta Sky Clubs are often my quiet retreat in the middle of a hectic day of changing planes and re-charging cellphones. I've come to appreciate their smaller private club-like atmosphere, and the helpful Delta agents stationed at the front desk. The Delta Sky Club inside Philadelphia International Airport is one of the smallest clubs that I've been inside, but the customer service is top notch. To be fair, PHL is primarily a US Airways / American Airlines hub, and Delta is a much smaller step-child in comparison. As a result there are only about 50 seats and the bar is self-service, but there's still room to plug in your chargers and read a book or check email. Unfortunately the gentleman seated across from me felt it was necessary to tip his head back and start snoring, much to the amusement of everyone seated around him. I was tempted to get an olive from the bar and see if I could sink a three-pointer from across the room just to make him stop snoring, but by this time one of the cleaning staff gently aroused him from his slumber. The ladies at the front desk really earned their stripes during this visit as they paged me to the front counter and said that a bad thunderstorm was headed towards Philly, and that they were recommending that I get out on a earlier flight rather than wait and likely be delayed. They found space on a flight leaving sooner in the afternoon, and even found me some extra legroom rather than squeezing me into a center seat. I zipped out of Philly about an hour before the big electrical thunderstorm hit and delayed flights up and down the eastern seaboard. Absolutely stellar service from this Delta Sky Club staff! read more

I agree with some of the reviewers that this place is small, is short on electrical outlets, and the bathroom needs help. However, the beverages flow freely, the seating is fairly comfortable, and there are lots of different types of snacks to munch on. It's definitely not the ATL sky club in the international terminal, but it sure beats the heck out of waiting at the gate, especially when flights are delayed. But here is where this place really shines - the service. A flight to Atlanta was significantly delayed and Jeremy and his colleague were awesome about helping people out, going from room to room giving updates to everyone, and rebooking folks on different flights. I didn't even have to go to the counter to book, he came back and forth to me. He went above and beyond my expectations to make sure that I got home with minimal disruption. So, relax as much as you can here despite some shortcomings, or sit at the gate with the screaming kids. Your call... read more

Delta is not a primary airline at PHL so the fact they have a Sky Club here is great. It's small but tidy, modest self service bar, friendly staff, and healthy food options. There are about half a dozen work stations with power strips, leather-ette chairs with outlets, small restrooms, and a small lounge area. I absolutely prefer the club over being in the loud, public terminal and I feel comfortable enough not taking my bag into the restroom facility. Worth a visit. One star deducted for being beat up, a bit worn, and in need of some paint & minor drywall work. read more

As far as a SkyClub goes, this is nothing to write home about, but this is a USAirways hub, so what should you expect. Super helpful staff, self-serve bar (with an honor system of one free drink.... after that they are $1). Every time I've been here, it's been 90% empty besides my latest visit that had every passenger delayed by hours and then this small place quickly ran out of seats. It's RIGHT as you come into the terminal (like before gate #1). If you pass gate one turn around head to the glass doors then turn left. So, I had a "Free" visit to the Delta Sky Club while I was here and figured since I had a 3 hour layover I'd check it out! They have lots of free snacks, drinks, plenty of televisions and the counter was able to get me an earlier flight. It really was quite an experience. Additionaly the restrooms are immaculate. Couple complaints, first it was very chilly, bring a sweater. Secondly, none of the seats were particularly comfortable. Trust me, I tried all the different types. I bought a one day pass while traveling to PA. This is a really nice stop over place especially if you have a ling wait till your flight. They have a full bar and snacks for $30... Doesn't get better than that. Of course I did buy more wine on the flight LOL... It is a nice distraction while you are waiting though. The staff isn't that friendly but who cares when you have free flowing wine or cocktails... I do recommend if not already a Delta member to purchase the one day pass. read more

I travel through Philly at least once a month and this club is only getting more crowded each time. Today there were no seats available; even the folding chairs they have added against the hallway on the way to the bathrooms were full. I know Philly isn't a hub but I've got to think Delta would be embarrassed at how unwelcoming this club has become. And don't get me started on the bathrooms. The women's restroom has two stalls in an incredibly cramped space with zero air flow. No thanks, I'll stick to the restrooms in the terminal. The club is simply no longer large enough to handle the numbers. I hope Delta looks to update soon. It appears the airport spa closed next door; hoping this provides a new space for Delta to expand into. read more

It's self serve which is a plus (which I'm not sure how they get away with that given Pennsylvania's weird free liquor laws) but boy it's small and gets crowded quickly. Overall it beats sitting at the gate as there is Wifi, and booze and light snacks, and oh yeah booze....but it won't knock your socks off. read more
