Very impressive considering BA's limited presence in PHL. They offer the standard lounge treatments - free wifi, liquor, and lunch. They have a friendly desk attendant. They aren't afraid you might walk out with too many snack bars (unlike an experience I had elsewhere). You can get an entire meal if you'd like, or you can option for the on-flight meal. I think you could probably do both if you really wanted. Downside - while the seats are comfortable, I had trouble finding open outlets. They had power strips run from the outlets, but it was difficult to access if someone was already in their spot.

The BA Club Lounge in Philadelphia's Terminal A is a relatively small yet efficient space with lots of amenities, from complimentary WiFi (get a password at the entrance) and complimentary alcoholic beverages as well as snacks. A separate partition serves a full complimentary dinner before flight. The entryway is just steps from the TSA gauntlet, so you could even wait to put yourself together at the lounge. Although small, it is efficient and courteous, besides keeping you away from the loud masses obsessively talking about the Phillies' latest loss this season, taking place in the coach areas. Every few minutes, uniformed servers go around offering sliders, fruit glazed with Grand Marnier, and other sundry items. Makes US flag carrier lounges seem quite plebeian...

So much better than the AA Admirals club, decent selection of beer, wine, finger sandwiches and booze, all serve yourself.

Very easily accessible - immediately after security clearance is at the left side. Checking in at the front desk was fast - had welcoming mints at the counter. Many magazines and reading material is also kept there for use. This is comparatively one of the smaller lounges out of the ones I've visited. Apart from the warm tea and coffee station there was the dining selections also available but with fewer options. There was another counter with water and wine options. Staff was extremely friendly and constantly were clearing away the plates etc. Seating and restroom options but again fewer - so was generally crowded most of the time and sometimes people were waiting in line to get to the restroom area. Wifi was free and connectivity good.

Front desk was extremely rude. As others have said, if you're not flying BA, forget about it. So much for Oneworld perks.

It only opens at 1600 so if you are in the area prior to that head down past the BA lounge and take the lifts upstairs to the US Envoy lounge.

Love the made to order menu and being able to customize. Food comes out in about ten minutes. Drinks were well crafted; even the NA mocktails were delicious. Love all the nods to local Philly- sports, beer garden, Ben Franklin. The amenities are the game changer. Showers were really spacious and soooooo luxurious. The rest pod was a peaceful break from the airport noise. And my absolute favorite- the free facial! You have to sign up via QR code for any amenities, which you can only access once you're in the lounge. So pro tip- soon as you sit down, check the amenity schedule first- even before cocktail or food.

I do wish the bartenders had more authority to stop serving patrons. There was an absolutely obnoxious man and woman two tables down from me who were reading every text message that they received out loud and then laughing uproariously. They had at least three glasses each on their table and got two more while I was there. They ordered a massive amount of food, didn't eat it, and then shifted two tables down and ordered more food. When the servers came by to clear their initial table, the couple laughed and said Oh yeah - the people who were here didn't like that that much. So not so much a commentary on the lounge itself, which is very nice and probably one of the better lounges that I have been in, but to the quality of some of the patrons that you might encounter, should you choose to spend some time here.

While the clubs used to be spacious with decent food and drink offerings and excellent service, the clubs have become much busier with fewer seats available and average food and drink options. It seems that everyone has access to an Admirals Club nowadays and brings their entire families. With that said, this particular lounge is one of the larger locations I have been in, and there are many places within the lounge to relax, do work, grab a snack, or anything else. In fact, for such a large lounge, there were surprisingly open seats here and there where I'm used to smaller lounges without any open seats. There is comfortable seating as well as bar seating and table seating. Also over the last year, I've begun to see the efforts made to improve the Admirals Club membership which includes complimentary hot food throughout the day from soups, Mac and Cheese, sandwiches, meatballs, and breakfast items (not all at once though). In fact, there was a build-your-own-waffle station set up which later turned into a guacamole station. There are charcuterie offerings, dessert trays, a salad bar, hot and cold non-alcoholic drinks, snacks, and then house drinks. You can pay more for premium drinks and prepared meals. Access to the lounge is easy to get whether through the Citi Executive World Mastercard with free access for you and up to two guests. You can also pay $175 for up to three authorized users each receiving their own lounge access (with up to two guests). Also, One World alliance flyers with a certain status can access Admirals Clubs. There are also Flagship Lounge and Flagship First Dining locations, which offer much more than just Admirals Clubs. I'm confident that making it easy to get Admirals Club memberships has led to lounges being overcrowded though now that you have to pay for authorized users instead of getting them for free in recent years, that may help. You can also redeem AAdvantage miles for membership or access to the Admirals Club. This specific lounge is where the B and C concourses meet up right near the shopping area. It's a great lounge that I plan on visiting again on a future visit to Philadelphia.

The lounge is small and fills up fast, so if you see an open seat, grab it like it's Eagles playoff tickets. The food? It's fine. It'll hold you over. It's not life changing, but it does the job before boarding. Now the reason this still gets 5 stars: Corrine and Angela behind the bar are absolute pros. Fast, friendly, strong pours, and somehow keeping the vibe upbeat even when it's packed. They make the whole place feel fun instead of crowded. And Roman? Special peeps. Professional, welcoming, and one of those people who genuinely elevates the room just by being there. So yes, it's small. Yes, the food is meh. But the team is elite. Adjust expectations, tip well, and let Corrine, Angela, and Roman take care of you.

The breakfast buffet the day I came was horrible and looked worn down and had nothing appetizing on it... including the nasty, old scrambled eggs. They did have decent coffee. And honestly, I just needed a place to sit and work, so they offered that. The restroom is oddly configured and small... you walk in the men's room and there are three doors, thinking these are all stalls and no urinals, but walk in the first one and it's a urinal only. Odd! The seating in the lounge is ok, but there were many families with loud kids, so that makes it tough to work, concentrate, and make work-related calls. Overall, if this was my home airport, I'd never return to a Centurion and I'd probably cancel my platinum card. They need to work on this place!

She was very friendly, welcoming and told me to let her know if I needed anything during my stay. My room was quiet, clean and comfortable. Minute Suites are located inside the terminals and offer one-hour suite rentals. You can adjust your time as needed, but you still pay by the hour. All Minute Suite locations have different amenities. Some have blankets, pillows, refrigerated drinks and snacks in the rooms; while other locations have only the basics (daybed, tv, desk, chair, white noise, coat hangers). Some even offer showers at an additional surcharge. Sadly, I was unable to fall asleep due to the time difference and nerves about missing my connection flight home. For $65/hr. here, you get a glorified closet where you can turn the lights off. Unfortunately, everything else is pretty much the same as in the terminal: you lack control of the temperature (there is a thermostat in each suite, but your inputs cause nothing to happen), have to share a bathroom across the corridor with "gen-pop," and can recline on a worn-out, squeaky plastic couch held together by duct tape. I was hoping to get a nap in in here during a 6-hr. layover between a transatlantic and a domestic flight, but couldn't get comfortable in such a ramshackle, bare-minimum-of-effort environment. The sole benefit was perhaps the confirmation of my suspicions that this country is going downhill compared to the shining, ultramodern European airport I departed from! In my view, what would make this price point logical would be hotel-style amenities: the room can be small, but it should have an actual bed (even if just a twin), sheets, a WORKING thermostat, at least one complimentary water (making guests who are already forking over countless Benjamins pay $6 for a 500mL bottle shocked my conscience), and at least one private bathroom for those who've booked the suites. Without these perks, you might as well tough it out among the writhing masses outside.
