This is the only Delta Sky Club we've been to that happened to serve congee during our visit. Pretty cool. Then again, this is San Francisco. This is the only Delta Sky Club at San Francisco International Airport (SFO). It's located next to Gate C3 in Harvey Milk Terminal 1. We visited around 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM on a Sunday. During this time, the buffet changed from breakfast to lunch, so we got to try both menus. The congee was served during breakfast. Overall, we thought the food was good for Sky Club standards. The oranges here were much better than the oranges we had the same day at the Delta Sky Club in Atlanta (near Gate A17). This lounge did get quite crowded at one point and service was non-existent/not the best compared to many Sky Clubs we've been to in recent months. However, I understand that SFO is not a Delta hub and, therefore, the airport does not have multiple Sky Clubs and just this one is not as big as, say, the ones in Atlanta, New York, and Los Angeles. Aesthetically, this lounge is modern and generally on par with Sky Clubs at other non-Delta-hub airports. It opened on September 16, 2015. read more

I made it here 30 minutes before I had to board my flight. They served breakfast foods eggs made several ways and some sausage, both chicken pork and even the vegan stuff I got in because I had the AMEX platinum card and they allow us seats at Delta lounge if you're flying with Delta. Small. But all Delta clubs are decent. Turned off a bit when she asked me for my Platinum reserve card since it's already linked to my account and is not necessary. I have little patience for this stuff when I set it up to be efficient when I'm walking in. The clubs now have a restriction on how many times you can enter each year. I ended up having 1-2 visits remaining by the end of the year so I wasn't too upset. Overall Delta sky clubs are way better than the competition and you'll find better more appointed clubs in bigger airports. Some even have showers. read more

The Delta Sky Club SFO is located in terminal 1 near gate C3. This lounge is quite spacious offering runway views with their floor to ceiling windows. One of their amenities is a shower, giving visitors an option to clean up before their long flight. Reservations are required and can be made at the front desk. The food buffet here is OK but not extensive as other lounges. They do a changeover from breakfast to lunch menu at around 10 AM. I spent a couple of hours here last week and it was a great experience overall. It is on the second level, so there was a ton of light bathing the space, coming in the giant windows. The place was busy, but I was able to walk right in as the morning crowd had left and the afternoon crowd was just starting to come in. They were also changing over the food, so I was able to get a decent lunch. The staff was buzzing around cleaning things up, taking away dishes and cups, keeping the place spotless. They also came around with a dessert cart, which was nice, too. On my way out around 1pm, there was a line of about 50 people since they were at capacity. While its not fun to be in that line, it is good that the club itself didn't get overrun and crowded, keeping the experience inside enjoyable. read more

San Francisco, San Francisco International Airport, Terminal 2, C Gates. June 2024. To get to the C gates used by Delta you have to clear TSA from in front of the D Gates and take a walk to your right. As soon as you get there the Sky Club is on your left. Present your credentials and either take an elevator or climb up. The lounge has a high ceiling and lots of light. The windows primarily look across to the D Gates but there are opportunities to spot aircraft on the move. Seating is comfortable and spaced pleasantly apart. The restrooms well maintained and sport Delta color lighting. Having shower facilities is a big plus. The food offerings are not extensive but include hot selections. The line switches from breakfast to lunch around 10:00am. Soda and coffee are machine dispensed. There is welcomed bar seating with a bartender. The complimentary selections are fine but anything good is at a price premium - and it seems like Delta wants to upsell you. Domestic airline lounges are nothing to get excited about. Complaining about what it lacks would be nitpicking. This Delta Sky Club is very nice even if it lacks a "wow" factor. read more

For decades Delta Airlines has been my preferred US domestic carrier, and by default I frequently visit Delta SkyClub lounges or SkyTeam affiliates or Delta Partners at most airports, in their absence I occasionally visit Centurion Lounges, Plaza Premium, Minute Suites, or PS LAX. SFO SkyClub has an Institutional look and feel, not the most exciting place to hangout for a couple of hours before my flight, but still check all the right boxes, good food, top shelf drinks, comfortable chairs, and a good place to relax while doing some work or just chilling. Airport lounges provide a bit more pleasant setting than your average gate waiting area, United Polaris is by far the best lounge I've visited at SFO, for one reason or another, have never been to The Centurion Lounge here. read more

First, let's start with ambience. Some sky lounges are in the middle of the airport -- no views!! This one has a beautiful view of the airfield with light and bright windows. There are many areas to sit, including the awesome granite counter I'm typing at by the windows. Soft seating galore, plugs everThis lounge is well staffed and everyone is very nice! Now, the food ... we arrived at a beautiful breakfast spread, complete with sausages, eggs, waffles, toast, bagels. The fruit was fresh. Hard boiled eggs. I love the coffee makers, which can produce whatever you want to drink from ground beans. The best Americano I've ever had at an airport! Bring your Amex Platinum or your Delta SkyMiles card for free entry. If you're married, make sure you both have your cards. I forgot mine and had to call American Express to get my number. I really like this club!! Better than the centurion and on par with the Polaris. Never flew out of T2. On my way to Boston and decided to give this a try. I love the protein selection. Chicken - sautéed, roasted and fried. Lots of tofu too and cured meats. I am doing this intermittent fasting thing and had been fasting for 19 hours. My protein intake is not quite to my daily allowance so this club has a great deal of healthy clean protein to choose from. A great place to eat to break your fast! Unlike the centurion it is not very crowded. The non alcoholic drinks are varied which I really like. I filled up my 32 Oz water bottle with lemon water. I like that you can look out to the runway. It is by C3. Easy to find. Pleasant atmosphere. Makes me rethink my next year's travel plan - I might switch over to Delta after this stay. read more

So much can improve and should be done regarding service, time, and respect, and signed up and approved for an Amex Sky Miles credit card. With the card comes access to the DSC (Delta Sky Club). After I got the card, I was advised that specific ticket criteria would be granted restrictions to the DSC- in this case, my basic economy ticket made my access underprivileged due to diamond members complaining about how crowded the DSC has been, and they were denied access. That is the alleged reason I was told when I called customer service--phone number after holding for 30+ minutes. Diamond members didn't complain enough about that to see a change, but I was denied access twice. The purpose for my complaint stems from two reasons: I could not but my way in and the location at the SFO airport was nowhere close to being busy and more importantly, the only ticket available to me was the essential economy ticket S My guess was because its all they had available. It appears to be privilege-driven, so they made up a rule after that card was disbursed to me and 100's thousands of other paying customers that this was going into effect based on who and what. It feels very close on the cusp of discrimination and poor planning. While some DSCs are crowded on busy concourses, other concourses remain slow and empty. If those are the only flights available, then that puts me and others like me who could never vote on this rule at an incredible disadvantage. The rules are also reinterpreted when you inquire about a possible diversion. And as my newly posted photo shows, this room at SFO was nowhere close to a busy platform. The poor lost souls who are the gatekeepers at the DSC desk arena are of no help other than redirecting you. If I went on a friend's pass and was eligible for redemption, I could not qualify because of my basic economy ticket. It's pretty absurd and mimics redlining specific profiles flying on Delta jets. Let's do the math on the category of diamond members vs. essential economy ticket purchases. Pros: - super convenient if you are on a delta flight. The gates are very close by - food is not bad. nothing super fancy and has not special services like at LAX where someone is making special dishes - make sure to look around the lounge. There are a few food stations and you might miss something if you assume its all in the large buffet line - folks there are generally very nice and welcoming which makes the journey easier - internet is pretty good so if you have a pre-flight meeting, the wifi will support most platforms and it is usually not so loud that you would need to stay muted the whole meeting. This is one of the prettiest Sky Clubs I have ever been to. Big windows that allow in a ton of light from the tarmac and runway. Tons of seating, including conference style tables to get work done. A huge bar area with a food buffet with yummy deliciousness to hold you over on your upcoming flight. The staff is incredibly friendly from check in to check out. Everything here was spotless and you could see the staff cleaning up after each person departed. It was early in the morning so it was quiet but I could see this place filling up as the day goes on. The Coke Freestyle machine was broken but they did have tons of coffee and water to offer. The bathrooms are clean and full of amenities including products for the ladies, hand cream, and showers. While it's not the biggest sky club in existence, it has more than enough space to stretch out and relax, or even just get some work done. read more

I was on a status run and since it was an early morning one I decided to stop in, grab a quick breakfast before turning back around and heading to LA. I stepped in and was greeted kindly. I was pleasantly surprised to see they also had showers available so I went to sign up for one but so no attendants and since it looked like no one was waiting decided to try one of the doors. Bad timing I guess since that's when whoever was in charge of the showers showed up and curtly told 'I need to sign up first as there might be a wait.' I went over put myself on the list and she promptly assigned me to the shower that I was heading into- no wait. Again despite there being no one else around she again told me somewhat brusquely that I had no more than 10 minutes. Aside from that experience everyone else on staff was great. I was there for the breakfast/lunch flip and they handled it quickly and politely since there were some folks who seemed disgruntled about not having eggs anymore. The newer lounge at LAX is more well appointed but I'd say SFO's is nicer than Atlanta's main one, just smaller. Aside from the shower person everyone else was great. read more

I've visited the SFO SkyClub a few times and have generally been happy with it. The space is modern and clean, and the food is up to par. I'd say that's all most people expect. I have to point out that during my latest visit the clam chowder was totally bland. I'm used to the Ivar's chowder served in the SEA Skyclub, which is good. Not mind blowing, but still enjoyable. That indicates Delta can certainly step it up, so I hope they will revisit their recipe or serve something else. That said, I am willing to partially forgive this sin as this Skyclub does have Ghiradelli hot chocolate powder and warm milk. Nice way to warm up on a chilly night in December. read more

Just left the Delta Sky Club, waiting for my turn to sit on the plane... damn this is a nice lounge. I got in here using my AMEX card and delta boarding pass. I've heard reviews from Centurion lounges that say Delta rivals it... definitely so. The food selection (dinner) is not as much as centurion (sfo) but it was really good. I had the cauliflower Mac and cheese, and the tender carnitas. The mac & cheese was so creamy, and loved the Tabasco they had on the side. They had minestrone soup as well, but didn't refill it the entire time I was there. The Waldorf chicken salad was great, as well as the arugula salad with cider vinaigrette. Turkey sandwich was average. I took half on the plane LOL. Charcuterie plate was whatever. It was just pepperoni, pepper Jack cubes, dried apricot and raisins. I liked the chewy brownie that they had and the unsweetened ice tea. One thing they do differently compared to centurion is the alcohol. You still have to pay for premium alcohol/wines and their cocktails, which centurion you do not. Every table has an outlet-- perfect for doing work and charging phones. Their couches are relatively comfortable but sitting there is hard to eat unless you actually sit at a bar or table. Service is great. I didn't even put my finished bowl down for 2 minutes and someone already picked it up. But when there is a rush, my plate didn't picked up for like 10-15 min. Over the past couple of years, this has been a frequent club for me. I continue to be impressed by the warm, welcoming and genuinely friendly staff that work at this club. I would specifically call out the ladies that work the early morning breakfast crowd by keeping the food and beverage area clean and stocked. It can't be easy being up at the crack of dawn dealing with caffeine-deficient entitled people (like me) trying to catch those first flights out but they do it with friendly and helpful attitudes. It kind of centers me to be ready to have a nice flight. Delta Sky Clubs are a really nice respite from the hectic common areas of busy airports around the country and while this one is not the biggest nor is it the fanciest, it is a solid addition to the Club portfolio in terms of having some nice plane-spotting views, quick wi-fi, plenty of comfortable space (at least in the mornings), and a nice selection of breakfast food and beverage. Top all of that off with cheerful staff and it is hard to beat this travel oasis at SFO. read more

There are lots of different seating options, the usual buffet-style food setup, and a bar. No privacy booths for business calls, unfortunately. And the bathroom is a little small for such a big lounge - only three stalls in the men's room. But overall, a big upgrade from chilling in the terminal! read more

I was really impressed with the Sky Club here in SFO! Despite having a low presence in the SFO airport, Delta did not leave their customers unrecognized as they have a snazzy airport lounge. Out of all the sky clubs I've visited, this is one of the top-tier ones. I think the only ones I've visited that's better is in LAX LGA ATL and Detroit. There is a lot of open lighting and a nice view of the airplanes taking on and off. It has a really sleek design with plenty of seating. Considering Delta doesn't have a HUGE presence, I don't imagine that it will be at capacity any time but of course, I could be wrong. The dining options are pretty standard -- nothing too fancy; it feels like your typical Sky Club offerings and they also have your bar as well. The one thing that this Sky Club does very well is its hours -- they are open till midnight which is actually the latest I've seen any Sky Club open, so that's pretty impressive. I wasn't impressed with SFO -- but I was definitely impressed with this Sky Club and I want to come back to this airport solely for this lounge! Great job, Delta. read more

This Delta Sky Club is very nice, one of the nicest lounges I've been to in their network. There is extensive seating and the food bar offers more than I've seen at most airport lounges. I actually found some things that I wanted among the food options. The coffee machine is easy to use. The bathroom is clean. There is plenty of natural light coming through the huge windows. Lots of positives here at this lounge. I like that I could plug in my computer and phone while I was sitting at one of the booth tables. So convenient. Everyone is so friendly and helpful among the staff. Because it's Covid times, you can scan a QR code to see the drink menu. It is very clear which drinks are complimentary and which have a cost. I arrived pretty early for my flight and was able to enjoy the Delta Sky Club for a couple of hours. Luckily, I got there before the evening rush. The food offerings were simple. They had soup, salad, charcuterie board, hummus wraps etc. Honestly the food wasn't that great, and could have tasted a lot better. I think they can improve on their menu too. For dessert they had brownies, cookies and lemon bars. The food taste/quality was just alright for me. They had a self-serve soda fountain and coffee machine, in addition to their bar. There's plenty of seating and places to charge your phone or work on your laptop. Their bathrooms were clean and there's even showers available for use. First time in this lounge in San Fran, wonder how I missed this all of these years when it has been around since 2007?!?! Great and roomy inside, too bad their showers were closed cause of COVID as I had landed from a very long flight from Western Asia. This place had many nice options to choose from and glad they had fast Wi-Fi and hot & cold breakfast items. It was my first time going to a delta sky lounge. I got to the airport pretty early because I had checked bags, and thanks to Amex Plat had access to this lounge. It's on the "second" floor (but it took two flights of stairs so pretty sure it's on an equivalent third), and the view of the Delta tarmac is beautiful! I treated myself to a lovely hot breakfast with fruit, a smoothie, and some hot water (they have coffee, tea, and hot chocolate; I just wanted hot water). The hot food was decent, the fruit was very fresh. There's a lot of space, and every seat has access to at least one outlet. It's very spacious and was quite empty when I was there from 8-9:30, so it felt very safe as well. The staff were quite lovely and the bathrooms very clean. Highly recommend chilling here if you have a Delta flight and you're a SkyMember, have an Amex plat, or are traveling first class internationally! read more

I was disappointed in the minimal vegan offerings available during lunch time on a Saturday. I enjoyed the coconut milk mango tapioca and a banana, as well as a soy latte. However, everything else was non-vegan. The staff is super friendly and the space is immaculately clean, however, so that makes up for the limited options.
