I was so weird about going to "third party" tire shops or any place that wasn't Bob Johnson or a dealership. One day last September, I got out of work and came out to a flat tire in the parking lot. I was distraught, it was a holiday and had no idea where I was getting it replaced. Everyone was closed...or so I thought. I ended up calling around and called Mr Tire. They told me they were open and had time to fit me in right away, on a holiday?? Replaced all my tires (and gave me a deal!) How extremely grateful I was! Fast forward, I recently ran over a very small piece of metal, And they stepped up once again and helped me out. The team at this location is my personal favorite. They are kind and friendly and have helped me out of each issue I've had within 6 months. I am so grateful to have found a company with such accountability and such patience. Over $200 for an oil change is robbery. I understand my vehicle takes more than 5 quarts but charging $20 for a quart of oil is criminal. The same oil is $7 in stores and less than $14 at other MR Tire shops. I can't imagine how much you charge for actual repairs. It is $60 cheaper at the Ford dealer for the same service. I guess I have learned my lesson. read more

I sent my son to get the quote, Mr. Tire staff asked my son to swipe the Groupon Coupon and said he will give credit when we come back for wheel alignment after changing the tires. Today my son went to the same shop saying you guys can fix the tire and do the wheel alignment and balancing. The person who asked my son to swipe the coupon was not there and new person now is saying within 2 days that they stop doing business with Groupon and they will charge for wheel balancing and alignment after changing the tires. They wont consider the swipe we did in front of their staff and was promised to give the credit when we come back after changing the tires. Now I got pissed off and totally they lost the business from me. This appears like they are cheating their customers. read more

Replace the bum tire they put on my car. Went back 3 times and they never fixed the problem

We made an appointment for both of our cars to have the snow tires taken off and the all season tires put back on. We told them we would wait. It 1 hour and 15 minutes for my car to be done. We decided we would run some errands and come back to pick up my husband's car. We told Glen at the desk that we would be back in an hour and 15 minutes and verified the car should be ready to pick up and he agreed it should be ready. We watched them bring the car into the garage and left. We got back in about an hour and 15 minutes and discovered they hadn't even started the tire exchange. Glen asked where they key was to unlock the tires and my husband told him it was in the car . He found it immediately, but he never called him to ask where it was so he could have it ready when we came back. It took another hour and 45 minutes for them to do the tire exchange. In addition the tires on both cars were over inflated. My husband's tires were supposed to be at 32 psi. Front and back on the driver's side was 40, passenger side was 39. My car was supposed to be 33 psi. All of the tires were set at 37. This is their specialty and they were so incompetent and unprofessional. When the phone rang the customer was put on speakerphone for all to hear in the waiting room. The bathrooms were disgusting. There was a dark pink line around the toilet bowl, crusty urine on the toilet seat and no toilet paper. I only made Glen aware that it needed toilet paper because I didn't want to complain. Now I'm making the owners aware because this was an unacceptable experience. read more

This shop does Not take accountability for their own incompetence. Engine repair ended up with a broken windshield (a "chip") that the mechanic admitted to causing himself. Was told they would contact corporate to repair and acknowledge repeatedly. Days later their "accident" has now created a 12 inch crack in the windshield, against NYS laws! Many more calls and "we are awaiting for corporate" is still the facade. The car should never had been allowed to leave without repairing the windshield! Now via secondary opinion from a reputable mechanic BBB accredited that MrTire on West Henrietta Road are completely gaslighting the situation. The situation that is now a safety hazard is being taken with no care or professionalism towards these elderly patrons. Shame on you! NYS windshield laws, educate yourself and your staff! read more

I got a low battery warning on a frigid Saturday morning, it was still there after driving my car for 30 minutes. I stopped at 1 place, but they could read on my Mini Cooper. So I drove down to the Canandaigua Mr Tire, they tested my battery, and told me my battery and alternator were in great shape. No need to replace either. Im a single women, they could have screwed me, I wouldn't have known. They also filled my tires with air. And they didn't charge me. I would 100% send anyone here. read more

I used to think absolutely highly of them and now it's nothing more than a circus! corporate changed how things were and now have lost numerous customers. you have to go through a call center now and half the time they either don't speak proper English or they don't understand English or you get hung up on. it's faster to literally drive there then to call. Then let's throw in the fact that they have the hugest turnover rate. they can't even manage a simple oil change without having to cancel because no one likes to show up and when they don't cancel it takes them 2 hours to do it. they treat their employees like garbage hence the high turnover rate. they've lost my business. read more

Kind of a mixed experience: I made an appointment online for 10:00 AM Walked in literally at 9:59 AM, talked to the guy told him I have the tire and I just need him to mount it. The worker was very friendly and professional. While my appointment was at 10 AM (already locked in ahead of time) I sat and waited 45 minutes for the guy to come tell me, "This tire is the next size up, it actually won't fit. Common mistake." That in itself is no big deal and if anything it's my own fault for not double checking the tire. Curious why did it take 45 minutes for me to find out it was the wrong size though? I could see waiting that long if it was extremely busy (wasn't even busy at all, not all garages were even occupied) not to mention (again) I already had an appointment. I had gotten a flat and needed a new tire. I called and was told that I could be taken care of and that it would take a half hour. The tire was shown to me to be completely damaged inside and I was offered a new all-weather tire. The total amount was very reasonable, the service friendly, and I was out in less than a half hour. This location is the best, Jeff and Rick are both knowledgeable and honest so you know the job will be done properly and you never have to worry about the dreaded upsell. We have brought all of our cars here for many years and they have always taken excellent care of our vehicle's. We live about 15 minutes away so it is certainly not our closest option, but it's worth the drive for dependable veracious service. read more

I've taken my car here for almost every major repair and they always do an excellent job at a fair price. The one time I took it somewhere else I ended up just taking it back here to fix it correctly. Their hours are great and I've almost always been able to get a same day repair. I'm a women in my 20s and never feel like they're taking advantage of me and always feel respected. They really helped us out a week ago when we ran over a sharp object and Dunn tire, which was where I purchased my tires, was too busy to even look at it. They gave us a loaner tire because I didn't have a spare and they didn't charge us! We were able to get the tire replaced a few days later. I made an appointment for an oil change & tire rotation, they had an opening on Saturday at 8 am, I was in the area Friday night so decided to drop it off on Friday afternoon and pick it up Saturday after the oil change, drop off went fine, they said we will call you when is done... It was Saturday around 11 am and have not heard from them so I called them and they said "oh yea we had it done last night I just didn't get around to call you" so I asked if they also did the tire rotation and he said "oh I don't know, I will have to check but it will take me a few hours because I have a shi* ton of people in front of me".. really? whatever, I ignored the swearing and moved on, asked him to check and call me back.... well didn't hear ANYTHING until I just showed up on Sunday to pick up my car and the guy said "oh yea, they did the tire rotation" so at this point i'm fed up and ready to just pay and leave, I get in my car and the light of the tire air pressure comes on... went up to the desk again and he was like oh really? that's strange well just pull up and we will put air in the tires....ok, but wouldn't you check that SPECIALLY since you are rotating the tires!?? like I said I was ready to just leave so they put air and I left, got home and my car is smoking.... yeap overheating... I called back and the guy was not even listening to the issue I was explaining, he was like we can check it but the diagnose will be about $35...excuse me!? My car was just fine when I brought it for an oil change and now is overheating! so he hang up on me.. I called again just to ask for a supervisor and he gave me the name but couldn't disclose his phone # so he hang up again... (yes, I have both calls recorded)... so, DO NOT BRING YOUR CAR TO THIS PLACE!! customer service sucks, the work they do sucks and they don't take responsibility if they brake anything else! $300+ later another reputable garage is fixing my car... read more
