I went through Maaco because of their responsiveness and compatibility with my insurance. They were very quick with the repair process however, everything went downhill after getting my car back. After getting my car back two weeks later, I was about to leave the parking lot and I realized that my mirror which has a camera wasn't working. When i went in to let them know, the guy working told me they had ordered the wrong mirror but that they would reorder the new one and call me within the next few days to have it replaced. He assured me it would be a 20 minute process and i'd be in and out. This was not the case. I returned a week later only to wait in their waiting room for nearly 3 hours and while they did replace the mirror, the camera still wasn't working. Before leaving the lot i turned around again get to tell them about the issue and the young lady working told me to take it to a honda dealership and that "they should be able to figure it out." After paying them thousands of dollars to return my car to its original state, i couldn't believe that she was trying to push this problem to someone else. I told her that they would be fixing this issue and made an appointment for the following week. When i got home, a piece of the door handle on the brand new door had conveniently fallen off and the passenger door was making loud creaking sounds whenever opened. The trim on both doors was falling off too. I called them the following day to tell them about the incident and they had me come in a third time to repair it. When i got there, they told me that they could fix the camera but that they would need to order the handle to replace it. I had to return a FORTH time after that. As a busy full time college student, going through Maaco was incredibly inconvenient and having to return to this establishment countless times was a huge waste of my time. Not sure if the fact that i'm a young girl made them think they could rip me off, but it's clear that they did a very poor job on my car and that they do not have the resources and capability to run an efficient auto repair shop. The trim is peeling off again on one of the doors, but it's been such a headache dealing with Maaco that I will not be returning. Beware of this place, they have absolutely no idea what they're doing.

They replaced parts, charged me, and gave my car back still not starting...did they even check to see if it would start after they moved it outside for pickup? I eventually found a real mechanic who does work on drag racing cars. I watched him diagnose my problem in 45 seconds by attaching a jump pack to the fuse panel. the car started and it turned out to be the wires connecting the battery to the system were bad. cannot stress enough: the grease monkeys at seasonall are useless. are they dumb or do they have no pride in their job? They are perfectly content changing out brake pads for mechanically inept customers......was it that they didn't want to waste their time solving a real mechanical problem?? no passion for cars... very sorry situation.

I brought it in the following week per the scheduled appt and met with a guy there (long beard) who briefly looked it over, he told me it wouldn't be a diagnosable issue since the head unit is aftermarket, but he suggested it might be the adaptor that supplies power from the amp to the head unit. So we agreed to try a new adapter and see if that fixes the issue (loud pop comes from speakers and the stereo reboots). He took down my information and said he'd call me back the next week (which is now last week). I could tell he wasn't enthused about doing this job, but he wrote down my info on a post it note and said he had to order the part and it should be there in a week. Well I didn't hear anything back. I made an appt with them to replace the coolant and do a transmission service on my Mustang GT. So I brought it in last Friday. The guy at the counter didn't have any pricing info so I had to wait about a half hour before he told me the transmission service was going to be $760 (said it's because they can't flush it and would need to pull the pan and motorcraft fluid is expensive, which you aren't supposed to flush this transmission anyway). It was $280 to replace the coolant. $760 is nuts, so I said just do the coolant. While I was there I asked the guy hey what's the status of that part, I was supposed to get a call this week and never did. So he brought the long beard guy back in and he acted like he didn't take down my info before and didn't know anything about it. So I have called this place and made two trips there, all for a $280 coolant change on my car. They totally blew me off on my wife's car. Look, if you don't want to do the work, just tell me and don't waste my time and I'll go elsewhere. On my Mustang, maybe be better prepared with pricing information so I don't get slammed with a $760 price to replace probably 7 quarts of fluid and a transmission filter in my car. Absolutely ridiculous. This place is a total joke. From the moment I walked in, I got a vibe from them that they wanted nothing to do with me. Why? No idea. I guess they hate making money or didn't like how I looked, who knows.

Here is a timeline of events for my visit to this particular location: Day 1 at ~10:30am: I drop my car off for its appointment, which was scheduled online for a 9a-11a dropoff window. I notified the attendant that the previous year's inspection at the Penfield MONRO center had noted rear brake pads were barely a pass. I also asked for inspection of the front brake pads. Day 1 at 5:14pm: I receive a call telling me that my filter isn't in stock, but will be in the next day. The brake work has not been completed. I agree to let my car stay overnight. Day 2 at 9:51am: I receive a call asking me what my car was brought in for (!). Apparently none of this information was translated over to the next day's staff. I'm informed they won't be able to complete an inspection because no certified inspector will be on site that day. Day 2 at 12:33pm: I receive a call telling me that miraculously, my brake pads are practically new and don't need replaced, which of course makes no sense. I'm told they will do the oil/filter change and call me when it's finished. Day 2 at 4:11pm: Having heard nothing and knowing the store closes at 5pm, I call and ask what the deal is. I'm told that the store tried calling me earlier (I have no missed calls or voicemails). I'm then told that ACTUALLY my brake pads do need replaced, but of course it's too late to do it today. Day 2 at ~4:30pm: I pick up my car and I need it the following day. After paying for the oil change, I get in my car to see that the mechanic has left it filthy, with grime and boot marks along the driver's side mat and door panel. Unorganized, unprofessional, unworthy of future business. tl;dr this MONRO location had my car for two full days, somehow did nothing but change the oil, and left my car filthy.

We limped her car to this garage. She texted them to let them know her car would be there Monday morning when the garage opened. Her messages were returned Sunday while they were closed. The owner went in early Monday morning to look at her car. He diagnosed her problems and gave her all the information she needed to make an informed decision. She determined that it was not worth fixing. Who does that and does not try to take an out of town customer for a ride? I attended RIT and have friends in Rochester. I will refer my friends to this location. They could not have been more professional and nicer to complete strangers. She even hired him to then take out the backup camera and radio.
