On Friday evening, Paul and I made our way to DeLuca's Italian Kitchen for a lovely dinner with live entertainment. We sat in a booth and Victor was our waiter. He was extremely busy but he did a great job. This is an upscale casual atmosphere. Cloth tablecloths and napkins. The busboys were very sweet and helpful to Victor making sure we were well taken care of. The dining room has TVs on the wall with scenes from Venice It made you feel like you were there. The other room had the bar and the band setup. It was very lively in there. We started with drinks. I was so happy that they had my favorite Pinot Noir - Meomi. We had an appetizer pizza. Wow- great pizza! Afterwards I had the veal Milanese. Paul had the veal Francese. This was a wonderful dinner and service. This is a fairly new restaurant in town and they are working hard to please. I'm impressed that they even had the entertainment during this summer season when less people are here. But this is what draws in the people. Audrey and our Yelp friends liked DeLuca's so here we are. We made reservations for four in advance. The restaurant is on Jog Road in a Publix shopping center with a lot of free parking in front. The pizzas are supposed to be New York style, and the pasta is homemade, the entrées appear to be mouthwatering in this new Italian American restaurant. Madeline waited on us; she was efficient & very sweet. We were sitting in a large booth, it was quiet and comfortable. Portions were very generous, my husband and I shared the Caprese salad, which was delicious. Friends enjoyed sharing a Caesar salad. The pasta is homemade so my husband and I shared a brick of lasagna, it was wonderful. Friends enjoyed their chicken marsala with pasta. Portions were huge, food was fresh and delicious, the restaurant was comfortable & prices were reasonable. When we left, every table was taken, and there were people waiting. Today we went inside for lunch and there was no hostess, there were children doing gymnastics on the floor in view of the front door, and the man behind the kitchen counter near the entrance did not acknowledge us while we were standing there. We have eaten here before but was alarmed with what they charged me for a call brand old fashioned cocktail. I asked the bartender for Makers Mark as my choice of bourbon but she gave me a Bullitt brand instead when I got the bill. (See attached bill) They charged me $23.00 for this drink which is outrageous. I've never paid that much for this drink having paid no more than $15.00 in other restaurants. The bartender was only on the job for two days so we got the rookie for sure. We will not be going back there anytime soon. read more

Quick summary: Service is excellent, food is very good, and noise level is too high for table conversation. And now the details.... We haven't been to DeLuca's Italian Kitchen & Bar, and had heard good things about it, so we went for dinner on a Wednesday night. The restaurant wasn't crowded, but I suspect it will soon begin to fill up as the word spreads about the quality of the food and service. Our server, Arianna, was amazing. First of all, when we made reservations, she assured us that she could create separate checks for our group whereas another server had he couldn't do this. During dinner, she was positive, attentive, and anticipated our every need. When one person spilled some sauce on the tablecloth, she quickly placed a matching cloth napkin over the spill. Great service! The warm, crusty Italian bread was excellent. In addition to the pats of butter that were served with the bread, bottles of olive oil and balsamic vinegar were on the table for use with the bread and/or the salads. Note: a variety of large salads are available on the menu, but entrees do not come with a side salad. The food was generally quite good. I had the chicken marsala with pasta, which had a nice marsala sauce and delicious mushrooms. My wife had the DeLuca style chicken parmesan, which is made with a delightful vodka sauce in lieu of the regular tomato sauce. One person had an amazing octopus appetizer that was cooked perfectly and large enough to be an entree. Another couple split the eggplant rollatini, which is made with ricotta cheese and marinara sauce. It consisted of two large pieces of eggplant and was perfect for sharing. The menu has a large selection of homemade pastas. The lobster ravioli was very good, although it appeared to be drowning in an abundance of the pink brandy cream sauce. If I had ordered that meal, I would have been dipping the Italian bread in all that sauce! The chicken piccata, with a white wine, lemon and butter sauce, was also quite tasty but a bit too salty. The portion sizes were generally very generous, and several take-home boxes accompanied us out the door. We initially refused Arianna's offer of dessert until she mentioned the tartufo, which is ice cream in a chocolate shell. It came with either pistachio ice cream or a combination of vanilla & chocolate. Yes to both! So delicious! A refreshing way to finish off a nice meal. When we asked Arianna about DeLuca's happy hour, she mentioned that drinks are 1/2 off during happy hour (Mon - Fri 3 - 5 pm in the bar area) and select appetizers are 1/2 off. The biggest downside to our otherwise positive dining experience was the noise level. Even though we were seated at the back end of the dining room, the live music playing in the bar was too loud at times and disrupted our conversation. The music was good though. All I can say is WOW!!!!!! I was so impressed with the quality of the food in this restaurant. I did not have a reservation I was seated immediately. My server Victor was very knowledgeable he brought out our drinks immediately and went over all the specials with us. He came over to the table several times to check in on us to make sure we were happy asking if we're happy with the food and if there was anything that we needed. We started out with Fried Calamari it was delicious!!!! We also started out with the Special "Mussels" it was in a garlic and wine sauce with a touch of tomato sauce. I have to say this was the best Mussels I have EVER eaten!!!! I couldn't stop scooping up the sauce with the fresh baked Italian bread. It was heavenly. We ordered the eggplant Parmesan for dinner. We ordered it with Rigatoni. The eggplant was breaded with a breadcrumb and Panko mixture. It was a huge amount, but it was not my favorite. I probably would not order it again. It was good, but I personally like it with egg and flour mixture. I just felt that the breadcrumb was a little too heavy for me. The rigatoni was cooked perfectly al dente. Overall food here is delicious. I give it 5 stars.all the way. My favorite dish was the muscles. I couldn't believe how delicious it was and I would've been happy with just eating that alone. The hostess came over to the table. Her name is Theresa, she spoke to us for quite a while. Wonderful woman, she gave us the history of the business and it was very pleasant speaking with her. this restaurant is very cozy family oriented and they also have music nights with live music. In the mood for Italian cuisine, we decided to try DeLuca's Italian Kitchen, conveniently located on Jog Road right next to Publix. The location was easy to find, and upon arrival, our hostess seated us at a cozy table that offered both comfort and a touch of quiet, without feeling too isolated. Although I don't usually drink, I opted for an espresso martini--and I'm glad I did. It had the perfect balance of coffee and alcohol, making it a delightful way to start the meal. My sister and mom enjoyed glasses of Miemi Pinot Noir, which they both found superb. We started with warm fresh bread, followed by two appetizers: the Clams Oreganata, which were nicely seasoned, and a fresh cheese ball served with arugula salad and prosciutto, which was a flavorful and elegant dish. For our main course, my sister chose the Broccoli Rabe with Sausage served over pasta, while my mom and I shared the lasagna. The lasagna was rich and flavorful, though a touch on the salty side. The portions were extremely generous--plenty for sharing and even enough for leftovers. To finish, we indulged in the Arianna Butter Cake, named after our server, Arianna, who was outstanding throughout the evening. We stumbled upon this hidden gem tonight and are so excited that we found it. Luckily, we had Ariana as our server who is fun and full of information. The Bucatini carbonara was amazing! We had a very good lunch here. And good service from Arianna, as well. We'd been to this location before, but it was another restaurant. We were happy to see that they had a number of other customers on a Sunday afternoon. And even one guy at their large bar. We started with some very good crusty Italian bread. We had butter as well as oil. And my husband got a limoncello spritzer -- a light and refreshing cocktail. From the lunch menu, I ordered their chicken piccata. It came with a choice of pasta. I chose linguine with the same sauce. The portion was more than ample for lunch. The sauce was nice and lemony with capers. And the linguine was cooked perfectly. And I had part of it for dinner later that night. My husband got their (lunch) lasagna. He said it was very good. He liked the sauce as it wasn't overly acidic. He also took a portion of his lunch home for later. We did browse the dessert menu. The butter cane came highly recommended, but I just had a decaf cappuccino instead. It was delicious. Wow, I moved up to Boynton from Broward to be amazed at this restaurant. The food was sensational, Pizza was a really good NY pizza, no kidding and the staff..amazing. Personal as can be, Paulie the pizza maker is sensational and kind as can be, Charissa was so courteous and attentive, made you feel that you belonged. But, what really made my night is that the owner, (he looks like Mel Brooks, just younger) speaks to his customers as if they were family. I was there on an entertainment evening (Thursday) it was fabulous and prior for lunch another day and the staff was consistently pleasant with smiles. This is a must have lunch and dinner spot. ONE AND DONE 1st time there -spent $144.00 for food that tasted bad. We ordered 2 large pizzas (no taste), 2 orders of chicken wings (they tasted old and we threw them away), garlic rolls that were undercooked, and Caesar salad. It was sad because we had guest over. No lie eveyone had only one slice of pizza of which no one finished. The salad was the only thing that was gone. When I went to pick up the order the restaurant had a smell in it. DO NOT EAT HERE - POOR FOOD QUALITY, NO ALLERGY PRECAUTIONS, AND POSSIBLE BIAS IN SERVICE On April 4, 2026, I was on a live virtual food review with another TikTok influencer while we dined at separate restaurants. What I overheard during his experience was honestly disturbing. At my restaurant in Texas, I was immediately asked about food allergies before ordering this is standard. However, on his end, the server never asked about allergies at all, even though he ordered a seafood dish. Seafood is one of the most common allergens, and restaurants are typically expected to confirm this due to liability. That basic precaution was completely ignored. When his food arrived, he mentioned the noodles were undercooked. The server dismissed it, saying they "usually come that way" and implied he should have requested them softer. That is simply an excuse properly cooked pasta should be the standard, not something a customer has to ask for. It got worse, he then discovered pork in his vodka sauce and is pescatarian , the sauce having pork was never disclosed. When he brought it up, there was no apology, no correction, and no effort to fix the issue. Despite continuing to order drinks and additional items, nothing was done to make things right.Listening to this unfold in real time was frustrating, especially since I was simultaneously receiving attentive, high-quality service where I was dining. The contrast made the lack of care even more obvious. I later called the restaurant and spoke with Sharisa, who claimed to be the manager on duty. While she listened, she ultimately blamed the customer, stating he should have mentioned allergies and claiming vodka sauce "comes standard with pork," which is simply not always true. She offered no real solution and failed to address the core issue that the server never asked about allergies in the first place. He also mentioned he was the only person of color in the restaurant at the time, which raises additional concerns about the level of service he received. Overall, what I overheard reflected poor service, lack of accountability, and unsafe food practices. We were promised a follow-up call, which we are still waiting for. Once this review is posted, we will be directing our followers to share their experiences as well. We will be waiting on that call. read more

Having a craving for some Italian food, my boyfriend and I decided to give DeLuca's a try. Their Location has been many Italian restaurants over the years, and sadly none worth mentioning. Upon walking in, I noticed all the decor changes from the last restaurant. It had an elevated feel with the black paint and tasteful lighting. The bathrooms were spotless. Also, there was a singer providing entertainment near the entrance, which was a lovely surprise! Alberto was our server, and he was very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. We had arrived during happy hour where they had nice food and drink specials available. We started with the bruschetta. The bread was nicely toasted so it didn't get soggy with the tomato toppings. It was perfectly made, and the flavors were on point! It got us excited about our main entrees. I ordered eggplant parmigiana and my boyfriend ordered the meat lasagna. It is hard for me to enjoy Italian food in a restaurant because I am Italian, and nothing will compare to my family's cooking, but I must say I was very pleasantly surprised! My eggplant was absolutely delicious and reminded me of my grandmother's cooking. I can't believe I ate the whole thing, it was THAT GOOD! My boyfriend's meat lasagna was a massive portion, and he said it was divine! He polished off his entire plate, as well! The prices were a little high, but the portion sizes made up for that. And every meal that went by us looked more delicious than the last. I really want to try their pizzas as they look like they were the real deal! We did not feel rushed, and sat and listened to the live entertainment for awhile after our meal was finished. It's interesting that the less than positive review I posted a few months ago after visiting there has somehow disappeared. The pizza is not brick oven as was posted on their website. Management was not polite, considerate, nor accommodating. Our server was great. Based on our experience, we have no plans to done there again. We dined at DeLuca's the day after Thanksgiving 2025 to celebrate Patrizia's birthday. The restaurant wasn't overly crowded, had live music (a singer/DJ with optional karaoke for guests), and overall the service was excellent -- truly one of the highlights of the night. We started with two orders of mussels in white wine sauce. Portions were generous, the mussels were good-sized, flavorful, and nicely prepared. Excellent value and a strong way to start the meal. For entrées, the table had mixed results: * I ordered the New York Strip steak, medium rare, with mashed potatoes. The mashed potatoes were very good -- creamy and well seasoned. The steak itself, however, came out more black-and-blue / rare than medium rare. It was heavily seared on the outside but cool and deep red inside. The menu notes that steaks are seared and finished in the oven, which should have resulted in a warmer pink center. Unfortunately, it missed the mark. * Another guest ordered the pork chop special, which was very tough. To the restaurant's credit, they promptly remade it. The replacement chop was better, but the broccoli rabe side he requested as a substitute was undercooked. * The two ladies at the table had much better luck: * One enjoyed the salmon special with mushroom risotto * The other had a flattened grilled chicken with mushroom risotto Both dishes were reported as very delicious, and the risotto in particular was a standout. We opted for San Pellegrino over tap water and went through about three bottles. One negative small note: the ginger ale was flat, which is a small but noticeable detail. Dessert was a highlight. We shared a sampler that included: * Chocolate ice cream dessert * Tiramisu * Their house specialty butter cake à la mode, which was excellent served with a torch candle. They even brought it out with a fun candle to celebrate Patrizia's birthday -- a very nice touch. Service throughout the evening was above average to excellent. We had two servers (one in training), both attentive and friendly. Despite the kitchen inconsistencies, the staff handled things professionally. One guest mentioned their espresso tasted burnt, which was surprising since DeLuca's uses Kimbo (at least the cup was labelled Kimbo) a respected Neapolitan espresso brand. I had ordered a cappuccino that never arrived; not sure if it was ultimately charged. Dinner for four came to about $280, and we left a $60 tip, largely because the service deserved recognition, even with the kitchen issues. Bottom line: This place clearly does some things very well -- service, appetizers, certain entrées, desserts, and atmosphere. However, execution was inconsistent on some main dishes, particularly proteins. It may have been an off night or a holiday-staffing issue. That said, I would recommend DeLuca's, especially for pasta dishes, seafood specials, and a relaxed evening with good service and live music. I ordered to go at Deluca's to try out the food and I was extremely pleased to learn that they had a variety of tasty Italian food options. I tried the Wings which were perfectly seasoned and the Fettuccine Alfredo that was creamy and tasted really good. The bruschetta was also really good and had a nice mix of garlic, tomatoes, basil and balsamic glaze. I called to pick up my order and the service was very fast having it ready in 20 minutes. We went for lunch, only one other couple there. The place is very elegant and beautiful table settings. The waiter was very friendly. Their bread was very warm and tasty. We ordered pizza with 2 different sides. One person liked it but the other one said it was bland. I ordered the eggplant and spaghetti. I had the chicken parm entree. It was served with 2 very large portions of cutlets and I chose the linguine instead of the vegetable of the day. It was very tasty and more than enough for a person to eat. I had enough to bring home another meal. Service was just ok. Our waiter seemed very busy and we mostly dealt with the assistant that was helping out. We were sat outside which was fine but if I could make a suggestion, the restaurant should cushion the chairs. Yes, they were that uncomfortable on the metal frame. It would not cost the restaurant much to do this and I'm not sure the reason. Overall a good experience and it's close to home. read more

If I could give a ZERO, I would! This place is a joke! Manipulated pricing and very little management interaction. Ordered a shrimp scampi diner, $36 on the menu and was asked what pasta I preferred and said angel hair. Little did I know that replacing a pasta for a pasta for another pasta would cost me $6! It's not listed on the menu what pasta it comes with but changing it, that was an up charge. I've been working in Food & Beverage for over 35 years and have never been taken like a sucker before this. When I questioned the server, she went behind closed doors to speak with the "manager" and returned with the "up-charge" verbiage but the manager avoided me like the plague. The server was great and the 5 U-15 tail on shrimp were good with the 2$ worth of pasta, garlic, olive oil and possibly lemon juice, but not $42 worth. Avoid this place unless you like being taken advantage of. There are 20 Italian places with better food, service and pricing within 10 miles of this one. Ridiculous. read more

Why ask if it's a special occasion if you don't care to mention anything or do anything. The meal started out fine. The drinks came quickly got water and bread. Everything was fine. Appetizers served. Ate it and we sat with dirty dishes, for at least 15 minutes, and empty water glasses We had to flag down a waiter and asked to have our table cleared because at some point our dinner was going to come It was OK but if I wanted to pay Boca prices, I would expect Boca service. read more
