Blatantly dishonest business. I brought in an almost-new pair of pants, no damage whatsoever. After their dry cleaning, the pants came back with three clear damages. From the start, the owner's entire approach was to lie and deflect responsibility. First, she blamed the brand and told me to return the pants. When I told her they were almost new and spotless before, she suddenly changed her story -- saying she didn't check the pants when I dropped them off. Then, within minutes, she completely reversed and claimed she did check and they were already damaged. Her story changed every time it was convenient for her. The only consistent thing was her refusal to take any responsibility. Instead, she hid behind excuses like "my machines are fine," as if that somehow explains ruining a new item. This shop operates on lies and deflection -- zero accountability, zero honesty. Stay far away. read more

They are great for shirts and pants. However every single time I have brought my airline pilot blazer into them the stripes on the sleeves get damaged and discolored. I have said twice to just not touch or dry clean the stripes and this is the third time my stripes have been discolored from white to grey. I will have to get these restriped at the tailor again. read more

When you blow into town with only a suitcase full of clothes, finding a dry cleaner sooner than later is key. Thanks to the South Bay yelpers and my handy Yelp iPhone app, I was able to connect with Deluxe Cleaners pretty easily. They're in Foster City, tucked away in a little strip of businesses, so there's no other way I would have found them otherwise. Customer service was great - no problems dropping off or picking up. And I love the fact that my clothes don't smell all chemical-ish, like they do after a round at other cleaner's. My only complaint is the price. Over $20 for two sweaters and a blouse. Granted, I'm used to paying practically nothing ($2.50 per item) for cleaning so it's probably just me. But $20 still seems a little expensive - that's like $6 per item? Really? I might be on the hunt for a different cleaner, but Deluxe definitely gets the job done. read more

This dry cleaners opens super early at 7am. So you can drop or pick stuff up before work. Clothes don't come back smelling like they've been dry cleaned. The prices are reasonable, and of course the nice lady at the counter adds to the experience. I'm also extremely pleased with Deluxe Cleaners for fixing the zippers on my Prada flap-front messenger purse. They replaced the zippers and did not compromise the style of my bag, and all this for a reasonable price! It's a one stop to clean your fancy pants and get your alterations. read more

I have been coming here for years as it is close to work and a supermarket. Work has purple tie (slightly cheaper and more convenient) but they do a much better job here so I'd rather invest a few minutes of driving to get better service. I love this place so much that I give them wine or a fruit basket every Christmas. Seriously! I've been coming here for years. I've never had a problem, which is a first for me. I can vaguely recall all kinds of issues with other dry cleaners, like your clothing isn't ready on time, buttons or belts missing, wrinkles, etc. etc. This place is about as perfect as they come. They've miraculously removed stains that I was certain would never come out (how the heck do they do it??) Service is great. Good hours. I doubt their prices are rock bottom, but you get what you pay for. Also, this place is scrupulously honest. I came in here to get a suit pressed in time for a funeral. When I arrived in southern California the suit was still wrinkled. I called the shop and asked them why it was still wrinkled . They explained because they had to do it in the shop itself and was not able to send it off to get it pressed. They charge me for it and went and picked it up they did not explain that it was still wrinkled. The lady there was rude and unapologetic. read more

I had taken clothing here to get altered and cleaned for the past year, and I had no major issues, customer service was not outstanding, but the service itself was sufficient, so I never had any issues. Most recently, I took some clothing in to be altered and washed, Two things happened that made me leave this review. First thing is that one of the garments that I had brought in was ruined, and the lettering on the jacket had started to deteriorate after one cleaning, this was a designer jacket, which was used only a couple times and purchased within a month of it, getting it cleaned. the lady said that this had nothing to do with her, and it was the quality of the garments that was the issue. Next, she proceeded to reflect, on the fact that the garments that I brought in for extremely dirty, almost intimating, that we should be thankful she put in extra effort to clean them because they were so dirty. When owning a cleaners shop, I think it is the most fundamental thing that garments being brought in, will need to be cleaned and for her to say this to me, and make me feel almost guilty or responsible for me bringing garments are that needed cleaning was the wrong move and some thing that to me lacked professionalism and any type of experience in the industry. I have many expensive clothes and things that need to be dry clean so they lost the customer for these reasons. read more

I've only come here once, but I was pretty happy with the service. The staff is extremely friendly. I got a wool coat and a sweater dry cleaned, and both came back satisfactorily clean & undamaged. Maybe that's what I should expect, but after reading some of the other dry cleaning reviews on Yelp (not for this place but overall), I turned out lucky. It was a little on the expensive side in my experience, but I didn't have any coupons or anything. I have ALL of my shirts laundered at Deluxe. I've tried 3 different cleaners in the area, but I like this place because their prices are great, the service is fantastic and if something does go wrong, they make it right and then some! Recently, I noticed that 5 or 6 shirts came back with damage to several buttons. These are fairly nice, relatively expensive shirts ($78-$88 each) that I got at a store that's no longer in business. And one of the things that I like about them are the buttons: thick with extra heavy stitching. When I brought the damage to their attention, they were more than willing to make it right! The owner (I presume) said they should probably have been hand pressed because the large buttons make pressing the shirts on a machine difficult, that the heat and pressure can cause them to crack. They replaced almost ALL of the broken buttons (20-30, I'll bet!) with buttons nearly identical to the ones that were broken, with heavy stitching and didn't charge me a dime. They did run out of buttons for the cuffs, but are getting more so they can finish when I come in next time which is fine because I roll up my sleeves anyway. They've also done a fantastic job with a Cal. King comforter I've had cleaned there twice. All very fast, with friendly service and with reasonable prices. read more

When we lived in Foster City, my boyfriend and I bounced from cleaners to cleaners because his shirts kept getting ripped. Deluxe Cleaners has always consistently cleaned our clothes and we've been going there ever since! Their coupons in the Valpak are very useful, especially the $10 off coupon if you spend over $40. We've since moved to San Mateo but I still go to Deluxe Cleaners on my way home from work because I don't trust my clothes with anyone else. We don't often have to get stuff dry cleaned, but we've been here to do my husband's fancy work clothes and our bedding. They do a fine job, and they're really inexpensive. I just brought a cali king duvet in and it was only $30 to clean. The woman at the counter has always been really nice, offering to help me carry stuff to the car when I pick up (probably because I have a squirmy baby with me). To note, we've never brought in anything that required heavy cleaning or had stains on it. We've just brought in stuff that doesn't belong in our home washing machine, so I can't speak to their stain-lifting abilities. read more

They ruined all my cashmere and wool sweaters. I don't think they dry cleaned them. Don't go to this place. I sent 8 sweaters(either wool or cashmere) there and all of them shrank dramatically. When I called them, they said they will stretch it for me. The texture has been ruin. Stretching does not work. read more

I'm a regular customer here and did ask if they do pressing iron and they did. So, I bring a couple of my clean for them to do it after 1 day I come back to get it and charge me for $107.00 which I get shocked about the price. Didn't even give any reason why is that high. It's much more higher than bringing your dirty clothes for them to clean it. I will never go back here again. Such a disappointment. They will lost customer once they've done it and lost of thousand dollars as well. I would probably recommend the one in San Mateo, named Jessie Dry Cleaning. This is my go-to location for dry cleaning. It's near my work and the clothes always come out clean. Only once did I receive something back that still had stains, but I called and they took it back and re-cleaned it for free. So in general, I'm happy to take my clothes here. Been using this place since I moved here 9 years ago. The service is great and if I ever had a problem (buttons cracking, stains, etc.), they always took care of it with no issues. I like the convenient hours as I don't always get around to picking up my items on the day the are ready. Makes it really easy for me to come early or really late in the day. They even rushed an order for me so I could have a shirt I needed for a business trip. Even though they post a day and time when orders dropped off will be complete, they rushed an order so I could have a shirt (that I didn't know was stained) ready for a conference at no extra charge. If you live in Foster City, I think there are 3 choices for cleaners. Definitely pick these guys! And AVOID Metro Cleaners. They do not understand a thing about US standards of customer service. I brought two cashmere sweaters and a cashmere scarf to get dry cleaned. It ended up costing me $10 a sweater and $8 for my scarf which I thought was a bit pricey. I got home and noticed my sweaters were folded instead of hung on the hanger but didn't think too much of it. Next day I decided to wear my sweater and find a HUGE hole near the chest area which was not there before! I don't even think they even dry cleaned the scarf. I now have a ruined cashmere sweater. I wold have appreciated some honesty instead of folding it up and trying to hide the hole. Never planning on coming here again. read more
