Was in Annapolis for a wedding and chose this salon based on the reviews, their reputation for skilled SNS application, and the fact that their website states "best massage in town". Made an appt for two SNS mani and two pedis. We arrived on time and were told to pick our pedi colors. We were seated next to each other and were given the pedicure menu for us to choose which pedi we wanted. We both opted for the milk and honey pedi as it came with an extended massage. Everything was fine for the most part here but the massage was probably one of the worsts I had and we were finished with our pedis before others who were getting pedis when we walked in. Definitely not an extended massage. When it was time for our SNS manis, they seated us in opposite ends of the salon even though there was an open table/chair next to my nail tech. She used tools that did not look like they had been cleaned/sanitized between services, im used to a salon that had a new package of tools opened for each appt. I was cut pretty deeply and the nail tech never said anything, let alone apologize. She kept dipping my bleeding nail in the powder for the bleeding to stop but it never really did. Pretty unsanitary. The application itself was poor, uneven, and super thick. Then, she finished with a gel top coat...I've been to various salons to get SNS manis and I've never seen this done before. When I told My go to nail tech back in VA about this, she mentioned salons do this to speed up service and cut corners. Finally, before I was done she didn't let me get up until she put a top coat on my toes that were completely dry at the time. Absolutely bizzare. No drinks were offered to either of us, even though we witnessed other nail techs offering/delivering beverages to guests. The photo says it all. Maybe I had a poor tech but my friend was disappointed in her mani/pedi as well. read more

When I asked for them to fix it after $120 later, they said it was nothing wrong with them and acted like they didn't want to fix it until I offered to pay again. Super disappointed with Deluxe Nails Spa & Salon in Annapolis. I received two gift cards valuing $50 each for Christmas 2019. On the gift card it states (out of compliance with Maryland law) that the gift cards expire one year from purchase. Unfortunately, 3 months after purchase the world literally shut down due to COVID. Many people, myself included, did not brave public places for 18 months. Now I'm here and would like to redeem the gift cards but the store owner refuses me, misinterpreting the law that I showed him. I'm very disappointed with their decision to uphold an illegal fine print on the gift card and will be following up with the attorney general. read more

This is the best place to get your nails done. The place is super clean and the staff is very friendly. Prices are very reasonable. I have been getting my nails done by Amy for 10 years now. I've moved to Texas then to Florida and every year I come home to Mayland to visit friends and family I also come to see Amy for a manicure and pedicure! You can't ask for a better nail salon. The attention to detail on your cuticles and nails is superb. I am very particular with my mani and pedi and Amy does an excellent job at making sure all my nails are taken care of. Very clean place. I'm a podiatrist so I'm pretty picky when it comes to getting my pedicures. They use all sterilized utensils (standard) and when I asked for them to use new files, they said they always use new files and pumice stones for everyone. If I could put 0 stars I would. Whoever owns this place needs to reevaluate their business management skills. I have been coming here for years and they do a mediocre job at best. I usually get dip nails (which takes an hour at most and lasts at least 3 weeks) and it took 2 hours and looked absolutely horrendous. I don't know if my nail tech was unqualified but something went very wrong. They were chunky, uneven, and not at all what I asked for. Worst of all they started lifting and chipping after 10 days - I have never had an issue with my nails before. I went back to see if they could redo them, especially since I am a loyal customer and they turned me away! The man up front said, "some nails don't hold dip well." Well buddy that's complete bull because I get my nails done the same every month and have never had this issue. They are extremely rude and short and need to understand customer service or they are going to lose more customers. I am never coming back here and do not recommend it to anyone. Newer salon with updated pedicure chairs. Nice decor, however the atmosphere was totally ruined by the two large TVs blasting an action movie. Not what I want to see or hear while trying to relax. The woman who performed my pedicure was very rough on my cuticles and I had many tiny cuts that stung for the next 24 hours. She also cut my big toe nails much too short and it was very uncomfortable for the next few days until they grew out. I also recommend they organize their nail polish by color so it's easier to look though the colors. I was looking for a specific color which they didn't have. I searched for nail places in the area and found deluxe nails and spa. I was excited because the store seemed very clean and new. I got a manicure and pedicure and was very disappointed. My toenails were not shaped well and the paint was very sloppy. My fingernails were basically cut straight across and not rounded. Other customers in the store seemed happy with their nails. But I think the lady doing mine wasn't very good. I don't think I'll be going back. read more

I've been to nearly every nail salon in Annapolis, Deluxe Nails & Spa is by far the best in town! I was in and out in 15 minutes which is great if you don't like sitting in a nail salon forever. Many salons I've been to are really slow and still don't do a quality job - often times they'll sit you in a chair and not work on you for 20+ minutes which is maddening. The best in Annapolis! I recently went and didn't realize they had remodeled the place! Its absolutely gorgeous. I love that they always have on a movie usually a romcom that makes your time even more enjoyable! If you go ask for Kathy( gives the best massages!!) or Kim! They are both amazing. This is the first place I've seen that places the hygenic cap on the tubs for those of you worried about unsanitary conditions when getting a pedicure. I got an S & S french manicure and a Deluxe pedicure and it was well worth the money! Kathy was a miracle worker with my super short nails and was able to make them look beautiful when I wanted french nails! Not an easy feat! I was looking for a new nail salon and ran across this one since it's close to my new home, and I was pleased with my service. Everyone is very welcoming when you come in and the sign in is modern. I got my underarms and legs waxed for the first time and will definitely be a returning customer. They are gentle and precise. I also got a pedicure and a hell full set French ombré. The pedicure was outstanding m, especially with the massage chairs. The ombré is a little different then what I have gotten in the last, however, it's more natural looking and I like it. I went here last week. The pedicure was fine, nothing fancy, but they could've spent more time on the actual massage. Everything was sanitary which was great. I also got a full set and that was disappointing. I got medium length nails in coffin shape but the nails were not shaped great, and not all a consistent length. I ended up going some and doing some additional filing. I won't be back. I went here because it was the closest thing open to Bowie. I walked-in for a pedicure and there was no wait at all. So peaceful, not crowded. I love being able to just sit, relax, and not have to converse while getting my nails done and this place was PERFECT for that. Sophia made sure I was comfortable from beginning to end and paid extra attention to detail in cleaning and applying the gel polish. I recently moved to the area from Hawaii and I am used to people adjusting my settings on the massage chair so they can work. I'll have you know I had the massage chair set on high intensity the entire time and Sophia did not bat an eye, made no errors, and no toes were harmed during my pedicure! The first pedicurist did a crap job of scrubbing my feet. when I pointed areas I wanted special attention she immediately got an attitude and started speaking in a different language. Another associate came over to ask me if I'd like some else to do my toes and I said yes. The next pedicurist scrubbed my feet beyond aggressively and shredded my skin. I have little Knicks and cuts on both feet. When my baby toe started bleeding she tired to wipe the blood away with the dirty wet towel she was using until I stopped her and told her I needed alcohol antibiotic ointment and a bandage which she did bring to me. I ended up not continuing with my pedicure when I noticed the unhygienic manner in which she tried to clean up my bloody toe that she caused from aggressive scrubbing. Hopefully all my cuts will heal without problem if not I will be calling the health department. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. read more

Went in around 11:30 today last minute before vacation for a pedicure and gel manicure. It looked a little busy but I was immediately greeted and led over to the amazing massage chair for a pedicure and was helped right away! A man who I'm guessing is the owner/manager gave me a bottled water and my nail tech (I think his name is Wen) did an amazing job he took his time and make sure my nails and toes were perfect. I would have given it 5stars except for the fact they charge to take off gel ($5) even if you are getting gel put back on your nails. I have been getting gel for years at various salons and many did charge originally when gel first came out but have since changed the policy. I understand if you aren't getting gel back on but if you are, it should be part of the service, since it is already a more expensive service. read more
