This place is HORRIBLE. I made an appointment for my mother and I to get pedicures and a manicure with dip. I got there and it was 92 degrees out and they had no AC. As soon as I walked in they asked me if I wanted to reschedule due to the AC being out. They stated it had been out for a few days and would be fixed tomorrow. I was on a time crunch because I am going on vacation tomorrow and I asked why they would not have told me that when I made my appointment 2 hours prior. The pedicure was not good at all. I paid for an upgraded service to get a longer foot rub and the massage part lasted about 3 min. They were done with the entire pedicure in under 40min. I then moved on to get a manicure with Dip from a man name TV. He was very negative about my nails even though they were in excellent condition and I had not had them done in 6 months so I could strengthen them. He did a HORRIFIC JOB. I look like I have marshmallows on my fingers. I now have to go somewhere else and have them fixed when I get to my vacation destination. I WOULD NEVER GO BACK TO THIS PLACE. I am very pleased with how my dip manicure turned out! I have been coming to this salon for 2 years and I am never disappointed. Wanted to try something new yesterday and it didn't come out quite right so TV made sure to take the time to start all over. I always feel like they take the time to take care of my nails and nail beds and don't cut corners ever. Everyone has a sense of humor, I built rapport with them very quickly. They got me in pretty quickly, the lady that did my nails was very nice & patient. What I mean by her being patient is I was having trouble picking out what color I wanted for my nails & she waited until I picked out the perfect color! Horrible customer service. They are not interested in doing your nails unless they can charge you $50 for everything. Came in for a polish change on a full set I just got and no one wanted to do it. Then I waited 30 mins and the guy says I need to pay $50 for gel polish change when regular is only $20. Then he refused to do my nails and said I need to go somewhere else with that "mess". So now my nails are mess, because I dont want to spend $50. Its a rip off. read more

Excellent service, they really keep the appointments!!! I am happy that it's an "A" graded salon by the NC State Board of Cosmetic Art Examiners. The cleanliness is outstanding, every tool is sterilized and neat. The new owners are very friendly and keep everything immaculate. I get free WiFi, and wine!!! Two big screen tv's and lovely music. Really upset at these people I have been using all summer. Went for gel mani and regular pedicure. When I sat down man asked me what type of pedicure I wanted. I told him regular and wanted gel on my nails. He ended up putting gel on my noise without my knowledge. When I checked out the bill was $84. Without tip. When I questioned it the manager came over and told me there was nothing he could do. Who would put gel on their toes.?? Insane. Now when I go to some one else they will have to remove it. TL;DR save yourself the heartache and torture and go to Walmart. Picking our colors out... like ya do. The lady (Jenny) immediately tells us that we can't pick from the wall but must use the nail swatches. Fine. Except she then proceeded to tell us that we must do this because we aren't smart enough to know how to read/count and put the bottles back in the right location. It was about this time that my friend and I notice there isn't any music playing and the TVs were black (awkward!) Miss Jenny then giggled to herself and told us (the potential paying customers) that we must hurry up. We were literally 2 out of 3 customers in the place. Excuse me?! Am I hurrying so that you can get back to sitting on your ass and watching the blank TV? We decided to stay (basically because we hate ourselves) and sat down for the mutilation process. The tools were not in peel packs (there wasn't even a visible sterilizer anywhere...) YUCK! The same girl, Jenny started going to town trimming my cuticles. Cool. Until she sliced my finger wide open. Then pours this green shit all over my hand. I wanted to know wtf was just poured on me, grab the bottle to see for myself that I have been poisoned and that's when the snippy comes out AGAIN. she grabbed my hand and tells me she needs my hands still and in front of her. My friend also had been cut as well and her nails were not done all the way down to the cuticle. I called ahead to make an appointment. I was walking up and another lady was sprinted to make it inside in front of me. I walked in right behind her, to find they had already seated her immediately. Now, I'm not sure if- she too had an appointment. But, she just flew in there in a haste. I was really hoping I didn't have to wait too long, since I did call ahead. A man asked me in a negative tone, "Aren't you going to pick out a color?" I replied, that I brought my own. He sort of rolled his eyes. He then ushered me to the chair for a pedicure. He started to run the water. I sat in the chair and started to put my feet in. And, then he yelled at me to not put my feet in yet, it wasn't ready....I was kind of in shock. I'm like, where else am I supposed to dangle my feet? That's how it's normally done, you put your feet it, while they get it ready. I just kind of looked at him very puzzled after he was so rude to me. I stepped out of the water, grabbed my stuff & said very sternly, " Ok, I will go somewhere else, You are not very nice!" In front of everyone & walked out. He was so rude. I called back later to complain, to find out that he was the Manager. He was the one that was so rude. Wow, well, he should not only- not be the Manager. He should not be working there or in the business for that matter. I have never been treated so disrespectfully. Disappointed in the lack of respect and Customer Service...I used to like this place, but never again. I will spread the word-no doubt. read more

Lynn's crew does a wonderful job!! If you need nails, waxing, or your toes done they're the people to see! The salon is new and she has more pedi chairs than most salons. They are located by the library just before Beaver Lake. Their prices are comparable to the other salons in town and she also has gel nail supplies! My experience at the salon was very poor. First of all, the staff seemed very unhappy and showed very little expression towards any of their customers. They all seem like they were dreading being there. First of all, I had the older man that did my pedicure. He did the first part and his wife did the second half. He never looked up or smiled once the entire time. The other woman took over completing my pedicure halfway through. She also seemed incredibly unhappy and then did my manicure. She was so rough during my manicure, it was horrible. While filing my nails she hit my cuticle numerous times and it literally caused me to jump out of my chair. She then acted put off that I had pulled my hand away when she hit my cuticle. Additionally, the dip nails I got we're very poorly done. Dip nails need to match the shape of your natural nail. If the powder is put on thick, it needs to be drilled down with a diamond head attachment to reduce the thickness of the powder around the edges of the nail. Overall a very expensive, very expensive, and unpleasant experience at the salon. I definitely will not return. read more

Nothing special here. At best, my technician was able to cut and file a toenail in a straight line. No more effort given to deliver a good pedi. My heels are still rough and the pumice scrub she used looked like it had been a slave to a thousand feet. (Well past its prime.) Overall I felt the pedi was a lazy job and effortless. However, there was one lady in there who yelled at me and kept telling me to hurry up to give a color and to hurry up while using the bathroom! The nerve! I would have given a 5 star review but the fact that I paid all that $$$ for someone to yell at my sister and I multiple times was completely unacceptable. Please know that i had an appointment with this establishment...i waited forever. And all they had was 3 clients before me already recieving service..i waited as well forever after they decided to place my feet in water in those wonderful massage chairs. ..the male attendee was careless and told me to put my feet in scalding water..i flinched and asked him if he could lower the heat level ...i could not put my feet in the water untill he added cold water. I was there for the Special they had for the Grand Opening...but was convinced in perfect english to go for the Deluxe and above that treatment. As i waited the offer of water, wine , etc was passed around..in English. I and they lady who also had made the trip there for the special were never offered. Why will i not return to this place or any other place of service where for 2 hours rudeness , unmannered display of mimics , laughs ,loudness were constant..some right in your face while they worked on you...some while they look right at you. I am trilingual..i speak English, Spanish and French..it is rude to burst in rants of another language while i take american money..in an English spoken country..ESPECIALLY..if i speak ENGLISH...Shame on these displays of rudeness on the part of these people who open doors for business...like i said they knew enough English to sell anything they wanted you to bump up the service and price . I have traveled..and i will not be returning to more of this display of uncivil unmannered rudeness....there are so many nail spas in town...this place was not worth the headache...by the way i asked one of them how long have you been in this country..15 yrs...and do you speak english ..YES.. The language of this country is English..the money i paid them with is American....with english writings....i wonder if i would have left there paying with money from Canada...how grand it would have been. I was looking for a new nail place on my side of town and tried Deluxe Spa and Nails today. It is located next to the library up the street from Beaver Lake. I was pleasantly surprised to get one of the best pedicures I have had in awhile. Tina did a great job! Also, the place was very clean. It did not have that feeling like some nail salons that have the Wal Mart atmosphere. Quiet, clean and relaxing. Very disappointing. I don't get many manicures and this didn't encourage me to do it again any time soon. My cuticles were cut so much that they are still bleeding and painful.
