Their quote was very competitive for the scope of work, which included rewiring my entire 1959 home, running Cat6 Ethernet cables throughout the house, running Ethernet for my PoE security cameras, upgrading my main electrical panel from 100A to 200A, installing a new subpanel, adding dedicated circuits, replacing bathroom exhaust fans, and reassessing the bathroom lighting. The biggest reason for tackling this project was safety and reliability. My home had ungrounded outlets throughout, and simply running the laundry would frequently trip power to the entire house. Alex and his team identified the issues, installed additional circuits where needed, and made sure everything was brought up to current code. I also wanted the bathroom exhaust fans replaced because poor ventilation was causing moisture buildup, and nobody wants mold growing in their home. The new fans have made a noticeable difference. One thing that really impressed me was the amount of work involved in running all the new wiring. They had to navigate a very hot, cramped attic and tight crawlspaces to pull Ethernet and electrical cables throughout the house. It's physically demanding work, but Alex and his team handled it efficiently and without complaint. They also ran the cables for my security camera system, leaving my home ready for both reliable networking and future expansion. Alex took the time to answer my many questions and explain what was necessary versus optional. Although the city inspection scheduling took longer than expected, that was completely outside of A&J Electrical's control. When inspection day finally arrived, the work passed on the very first inspection, which speaks to the quality of their workmanship.
