Honestly better than I expected! We were walking past this and wanted to try out some thai food. It was very authentic and the menu had a good variety of food. Thai tea was really good and not just from the bottle. It was empty when we went and our food came out quick. There was a credit card fee of 3.75% so they recommend you pay cash. I got the pad see ew and I wish it was just spicy. They had nice lullaby music. Overall, good experience to try!

This weekend, I traveled to Chicago with a few friends to attend a music festival, so I wasn't able to explore the Chicago food scene as thoroughly as I would have liked. We were able to make some last-minute lunch plans at Dena's Kitchen yesterday, however. When we arrived, one of the restaurant's employees greeted us warmly. He gave us time to peruse the menu and relax before we placed our orders. For starters, we got crab Rangoons and Vietnamese spring rolls. Then I got a Thai iced coffee and chicken panang curry for my meal. The lunch arrived promptly and was generously portioned. Everything was great, and we departed with a few leftovers and happy faces.

Food was good. Service was great. We ordered through Yelp/Grub Hub application. Husband really enjoyed sweet & sour chicken. I had pad see wee which was just okay. We also got crab rangoons and chicken wings. Overall a 3.5 but them wings were a solid 5 for me. I would come back for wings. No for me on Pad See Wee again but Sweet & Sour Chicken was tasty.

What a great hole-in-the-wall!!! Stumbled upon it while walking to a different dine-in spot and was craving Thai food more. I'm so glad we found this place! The food was amazing and freshly prepared. The ton yum soup was so refreshing and the pad Thai had thin noodles inside of the thicker ones I was used to BUT needless to say the flavor was there and delicious. Our server was very nice and welcoming. Was very shocked how empty the place was but lots of pick up orders. Highly recommend dining in though!!

This is a gem!! Absolute gem of a place. It kind of looks like a hole in the wall, but these are the best places to eat. It's a cute family owned Thai restaurant. Everything I tried was delicious and full of flavor. The fried rice was one of the best I've ever tried. Fair warning, if you ask for something to be a little spicy, it will be spicy!!! The mango sticky rice is a must for dessert.

I really like Dena,. Friendly happy people who put out some fresh tasty food. Easy to get into right off of Fullerton. The spice here is way down for my liking so ask them to spice it. The pad see ew is really good one of my favorites. Fried rice is also really good but ask for spice otherwise it comes with none. The chicken wings are a hidden gem you may not normally think of ordering but do. They are good

Yellow curry with tofu on the right. I ordered it to go alongside my tofu katsu I made.

Ordered the yellow curry with tofu for takeout. Solid food and it was quick. The potatoes were perfectly cooked. Slightly firm but not crunchy. I'll be back. Not a fan of reducing stars based on price. But for a small thing of curry it was a bit pricey.

I came here on a Saturday afternoon because I was craving some Thai food. This place did not disappoint. For apps I ordered chicken satay and fresh spring rolls. The rolls were fresh and delicious. The chicken satay was very tasty, especially dipped in the peanut sauce. As for the entree, I ordered chicken pad Thai. The pad Thai is a dish you can't go wrong with. Kinda wish it had more chicken in it though. For dessert, I ordered their Thai iced tea and that wasn't overly sweet or too bitter. Mix of the tea and milk were perfect.

There are window views from the restaurant, making for good people watching. Mainly metered parking available Medium to large sized place with dedicated sections for thai food (about 8 tables and 2 rows of bar style seats) vs for sushi and ramen but all under the same place/owner, can order from any menu - the decor on that side is super cute, fish cutouts, anime/manga decorated walls, decked out bars Got the scuba diving chicken from the chefs faves and must say it was pretty good - a bit on the greasier side but the aroma of the herbs and the spices from the curry really pull through, chicken is cooked very well, super tender and juicy. I got the "No turning back" spice level and theres a hefty kick - halfway into the dish my mouth def feels it but nothing too extreme (FYI theres a slight mala-like numbingness to it) The traditional papaya salad was crunchy and refreshing, sauce is tangy but not too overwhelming. The peanuts add a nice nutty element to it. There were hardly any dried shrimp, so wouldve like to see a bit more of that. Be sure to give it a good mix as the sauce and topping fall to bottom of the bowl To top it off, the service was great. Albert was really attentive and helpful - would come back if im in the gold coast area again to try the other menu offerings

Seating was a little tight like at Phodega, but not terrible. To view menu, you scan a QR code at the table. My husband & I ordered the following: - Grilled Squid This was really good! I thought it was going to come out like little calamari rings, but it was actually a decently sized whole squid, sliced with the tentacles on the side. It was cooked perfectly as it was not chewy or rubbery. The flavor was great, especially with the paired Thai-spicy seafood sauce. - Crab Meat Fried Rice Loved that this was with real crab! & not the imitation crab. There were bits of crab meat throughout the rice and then topped with a big lump of crab meat. It came served with a lime & yummy fish sauce with fresh Thai chili's. - Bamee Noodles with BBQ Pork without broth This bowl of egg noodles had a slightly sweet flavor to it, served with a fox amount of BBQ Pork which was also nice & tender! Slurped it all up! - Jina's Fried Chicken This was good, but not anything like out of this world. It was fried chicken leg quarter, served with black sticky rice. - Sweet Sticky Rice with Mango LOVED this! It was a great way to end our meal! I loved that it came with extra sweet sauce! - Taro Tapioca in Coconut Milk Cream This was great too! It was actually a warm dessert. The menu described it as "Tapioca pearls" so I was expecting the tiny little clear boba balls, but it was cubes of like glutinous rice. Which was not bad! I liked it a lot; it reminded me of Ginataang Bilo Bilo (#iykyk if you're Filipino)! Overall, a delicious experience! We would eat here again!
