I asked Buck for an estimate to do engine work on a 2014 Town & Country through Yelp. He was very quick to respond and he also sent me an email. He was very friendly and easy to work with. He told me that he wanted to verify the repair job since it was the dealer that had originally diagnosed the problem. He worked with me to settle on a final price and timeframe for the repair. I was introduced to the mechanic, a very nice guy. The shop was small, but very clean and looked well stocked. Later in the afternoon, he called me to let me know that had started into the repair and after removing a few pieces of things from around the engine he could better see into the engine area and after a closer examination, the mechanic identified the true issue. The repair job had been misdiagnosed. The engine job was much more extensive and requires nearly 17 hours to repair. His shop was not going to be able to commit to that much of a repair job. Even though he was not able to do the work, I wanted to give him a great review. He was very honest and foreright, he communicated throughout the entire process. My trucks brakes starting squeaking last week on my way to work. I knew I needed to deal with it that day. I called my Ram dealership where I had all my prior work done on my truck. They let me know that I would need to make an appointment which the soonest was 9 days away. I decided it was time to find a new mechanic. After several calls and estimates I sent my to truck Dennis Automotive where they assured me they would use only the highest quality parts on my truck. They let me know that after market products wouldn't last long on my 1500 and assured me Mopar suggests not using lower grade parts on the 1500 either. after looking at my truck I was happy to find out my it also had bearing issues in my left front wheel. The last few times I had my truck serviced at Ram I told them there was a problem with my left front wheel but their technicians told me they couldn't find anything wrong with it but I knew there was. When they were finished installing all 4 rotors and pads and both front bearings replaced I paid less than Ram was going to charge me for just the rotors and pads. They also told him to bring it back in two-three weeks so they can do a quick check to make sure it's working fine. Fast forward. Another mechanic who I usually go to told me I have a transmission problem, then he proceeded to tell me the cost. I was a bit skeptical because he didn't even check the car to see exactly what was wrong with it. I called my son and asked him if he remembers the name of the shop where he had his car fixed last time. Buck was very nice and asked me to bring the car in the next day so they can check it. The price they quoted after checking it was less than what the other mechanic wanted. Plus, Buck explained what they needed to do to the car and gave me options. a little over a year ago the engine on my 2015 nissan sentra went out, i called all over town and got quotes from 7,000$-10,000$ and that the job would take two weeks on average, i called dennis auto repair and spoke with buck within a few hours he had located an engine for me and made room for my car that day, in five days my car was running brand new and even put in a new clutch in that time for less than half of what anyone else had quoted me in town. I took my vehicle in for a transmission service. They had an opening and took my vehicle in right away. They test drove my vehicle before and after the work was performed. Came here because I thought I had an exhaust leak, they checked it over and found that there wasn't a problem and it was just old oil burning off the exhaust.
