Forgive the one star, if I could put 0 I would. Came here on my way home from a road trip. It was my first (and last) time at a Denny's. I almost walked out before ordering because we didn't see a waitress until about 15 minutes into sitting down. Place was a mess, dirty. Once our waitress who was disheveled finally came by we ordered drinks. My BF ordered a water and cold brew coffee and I just got water. My water comes 5 mins later, his doesn't. They were out of the cold brew. He waited 15 mins for his water. We finally ordered. I just got a salad because they had no regular options for something simple. I literally just wanted plain pancakes, no sides. Our food took a half hour for a salad and grand slamwhich... All around us we watched as literally every table got the wrong order. Couple in front of us were lactose intolerant and both of their burgers came out with cheese. After they recooked them (asked for medium rare) they were burned to a crisp...Place was a ****show. I was excited to try Denny's...it was disturbing. Servers literally looked like the might be on drugs and were yelling at each other. Slow service, but at least the waitress apologized (that, at least, goes a long way in my opinion). The windows were dirty (glass could've been much cleaner, and even washing the sills and blinds would've been nice on a weekly basis). And the toilets were average for cleanliness. But having said that, the floor got mopped while we were there, so there's definitely some cleaning being done. The food wasn't bad, and our price was $40 + tip for 4 people (we hadn't ordered drinks or dessert). All in all it was good enough for lunch/dinner just off the highway. I have to say. I like Denny's. I think people here are being harsh with their reviews of this place. I have to say, when you go to Denny's to eat you should know what to expect by now. Its open 24 hours, serves great food with good portions at a great price. What else can you ask for? The menu is huge, and when a local one opened near me I was very happy. While on a road trip to Ohio on my motorcycle, i was really hungry while getting through PA and decided to stop and eat. I don't know why I even bother coming here, it's close to my house and that's it. Every singe time I come I start out with one server and then they have to "leave". Multiple times I came I got pancakes with bananas and the bananas were brown and looked disgusting. They're always out of ingredients. One time it was cinnamon, another time it was lettuce. First time at Denny's. We were seated at a dirty table. It took the food 37 minutes to arrive. Also one person at our table got a glass for their drink and the other two got ginormous paper cups. The food runner lady was SO NICE and made us laugh. The food was as expected, greasy and okay. We recommend the French toast. Good luck to all future Denny's customers. read more

One of my favorite places to eat! I love the food, they have a lot of gluten free options! They use Glutino English muffins, and they are the best! I love getting the build your own grand slam with that muffin and an overeasy egg and turkey bacon and hash browns! Sooo good!!! And their milkshakes- they give you the extra in a tin on the side, so it's like two milkshakes! Very easy to share with someone. The waitresses are very nice too and accommodating. read more

Sadly, while the restaurant was clean and seemed nice enough, that's where it ends. My wife's order was messed up, and she didn't get it replaced until after everyone else had already eaten. Even then, she had asked for a side of mayonnaise twice and never received it. THEN the bill was brought before she was served her replacement. Never was checked on after being served, never asked if we would like dessert, just got our order and was left to fend for ourselves. I had to take my wife's food up to get it fixed even - nobody wanted to stop even when I said "excuse me" more than once. The service here falls WAY below my standards, even for Denny's. read more

This Denny's doesn't do justice for the rest of their chain restaurants. Pros: Food was warm. Good breakfast. Cons: Waited almost 10 mins before our server greeted us and another long wait for drinks and refills (wasn't busy for 10pm). Food was bland. Not sure if I want to go back, even as a last resort. read more

Went today for lunch. Sat down at 12:00. Drink order taken and took 10 minutes to get our drinks. We then ordered food. There was only 3 in our party. The food finally arrived at 12:51! This after several people got up and left out of frustration. We then had 8 minutes to eat and return to the office for our 1pm meetings. Food at Dennys is not to be expected to be great or even tolerable. It is to be cheap and greasy. They never disappoint on those factors, however don't be in a hurry for sub-par food. read more

I wish there was a ZERO-STARS option on here! I just visited, or rather TRIED TO visit, this location for lunch, and despite not being even close to busy, the hostess couldn't even find time to sit me and another, elderly customer that walked in before me. After at least 5 minutes of standing at the entrance, she tells us from across the restaurant that we can seat ourselves. I choose a table right near the front and wait a number of minutes more before I even see her again. When I do, she goes to the very next table and takes the drink order for someone WHO WALKED IN AFTER ME. We always enjoy eating at Denny's Restaurants! Our experience has always been that we have received outstanding service, delicious food and at reasonable prices. This Denny's location was once a good place to stop for breakfast but has deteriorated over the last year or so. Food is average and served hot. Restaurant needs some TLC and a good cleaning. Restroom, windows and cleanliness overall is bad. Two of us recently stopped for breakfast when they weren't real busy and waited over 30 minutes for our food. Temperature inside restaurant was stuffy and hot, possibly AC was broke. What was once a favorite stop...not likely to go back again. read more

Racism like I've never experienced before! My boyfriend (African American), my children, and I (Hispanic) stopped at this Denny's a few days ago on our way back from OH. As soon as we stepped in, most people stopped eating and looked at us. You would think we were in Alabama decades ago! We sat, ordered, and ate. The whole time we were there, people stared and were obviously bothered. Our waitress was nice, but everyone else (mostly the customers) and the staff were obviously uncomfortable with our presence. Another African American gentleman came in with a White American woman and they received the same treatment. They ordered drinks, paid, and decided to leave without ordering an entree. If looks could kill, I would not be here letting you know about our experience. It is ridiculous that in today's age, we are still dealing with ignorant people! Stay away from this place! read more

I went in for a meal with a smile on my face and left hungry and furious. Enter doors at 9:33pm on 5/22/16. With a military jacket on and waited for server to approch and seat me. No such luck. So I sat down on my own and still no one approched me. As I sat for 10 mins other customers entered and the girl sat them at a table. The male server then took their order as I still waited for assistence or my server to approch. As I sat and waited as I was on a time schedual still no one approched me. I decided to give them another 10 mins before I get up and leave. As I watch the servers all stand around the kitchen area chatting about this and that. As my time is running out still nothing nor anyone. As I over heard one server place her own order I still sat and wait for mine to be taken. As I watch the male server serve the customers that came in after me their drinks, I still have not been approched. It is now 9:55pm and still nothing. It is now 10pm and still no service. So I decided to ask for a manager on duety. I informed the manager on duety what happened and said I was not happy and will not be returning. I also informed her I will be contacting corporate. I can not belive an establishment would allow this type of treatment to anyone including military. Just plain rude and disrespectful. read more
