So far so good! Very clean and updated. Its quite busy for the most part and the servers are very helpful and attentive. Thank you (Salina) So lets be honest here. Everything came out really really fast! The fastest we have ever gotten our food, probably 5 mins tops. We got the birthday cakes pancakes but we just added it to the adult pancakes instead and asked the the sprinkles and cream. The kids loved it because it was much bigger as well and we got everything on time and we also go more because out of inconvenience due to mistakes... but we didnt see any so they already got my 5 stars not including the extra pancakes. So if I could it would be 6 stars. For sure we will come back after church. read more

Came in with my mom to get my free birthday slam and Mac and cheese meal. My server was so nice no complaints about her. However the food was bland and cold. The Mac and cheese was also very strange only had about 6 bites, I would not come back to this location. read more

I was offered to come back after a bad experience on my birthday last week. I chose to sit near the kitchen and it was busier today than it was when I came last week. Staff was working so incredibly hard during a packed place but they showed team work and worked together to get every order out correctly and in a reasonable amount if time. The service was way beyond the standard and I was told that a milkshake would take a few minutes and was brought a water which was very kind. The milkshake was thick and was the right amount of milk and ice cream. The best thing of the menu I would say was the Southwestern Benny Breakfast. The eggs were a perfect medium and once the yoke was broke it smoothly ran down the chorizo and english muffin and onto the plate. The five fire sauce is the right amount of heat with a slight kick that really amplifies the taste of the chorizo and adds such flavor. My favorite was actually the Hollandaise sauce..this sauce was creamy, thick and also has the flavor anyone would expect from any Hollandaise sauce. My faith in Denny's for great service and food is restored. read more

I hate making a review like this but unfortunately I had quite the unfortunate experience. My SO and I had driven up to this Dennys on an early morning around 3:30am. We walked in and only noticed 3 or 4 booths filled with people. I noticed on the right side that a few booths were open and asked if we could sit in that booth. The Host responded in a pretty rude demeanor and tone along the lines of "Nope, you can't sit on that side, it will remain closed". Oh, well I was- "no. Nobody sits on that side at nights. I've been working here for 3 years and nobody sits there" oh... ok well then... At this point, my SO (who works in guest services and guest interactions) and I (who also works with the public and guest interactions) were quite uncomfortable with this response and tone of voice. He was completely dismissive and rude. His body language was very unprofessional. I don't have an issue with us not getting a seat but the way this conversation occurred has put a bad taste in my mouth and my SO also doesn't want to come here any longer. Food was good, service was terrible. People who can't smile or basically have no personality shouldn't be a waitress! My silverware was dirty, had stuck on food and waitress tried to make excuses for it and kind of got attitude. As usual all we got was " we will try again " so we " tried again " and got the same poor service. One waitress running her head off. We had cold coffee - which seems the norm- and my pancakes had very little fruit compared to the pictures. The gentleman offered us a takeout beverage as a comp, but I just told him we were not looking for anything but good service and food. We don't get it here anymore. Needless to say we won't be coming here anymore, and I am sure I will get another worthless response saying " sorry, we will try better." Ordered takeout because there was nothing in the area opened for food past 10am. I guess everything closes early in Clovis. Service was fast, and food was as decent as you're going to get from a Denny's. They were definitely understaffed as most restaurants are. I felt bad for the young man running the cashier as he was ringing people up, greeting customers, and walking them to tables. The cooks were slammed and I did observe stress from their facial expressions. Anyway, it was an inexpensive and quick takeout experience. I rarely leave reviews but this was easily one of my worst experiences at a restaurant. Lobby was full with 4 other parties upon arrival but only one side of the restaurant was being used. Floor had a residue from a recent spill with a caution sign to acknowledge the mess. We just so happen to be sat directly next to the residue. We waited 10-15 minutes before our drink order was taken. Then another 5 minutes passed and someone else took our drink order again, who then promptly brought them to us. Since we had been seated for 15-20 minutes we also put in our food order. Roughly 45 minutes later food comes out but they took it to the wrong table. Despite the party at that table saying that it wasn't their order, they still attempted to place it on the table. We finally have our food, but no silverware or napkins. Had to walk up to the bar to ask for the ranch we requested. Had to walk up to the bar later to ask for waters we had ordered after the initial drink order. Again walked up to the bar to ask for a refill on my soda and despite standing there for a few minutes nobody ever acknowledged me, so I didn't get my refill. Most of tables around us are now empty and have been halfway cleaned up. Ambiance just feels horrible at this point. The table directly next to us experienced the same thing but they reached a point where they had enough and left after getting their food. Their daughter's food had been forgotten about and the mother's food was incorrect and cold. read more

Get a new manager and employees they are lazy and do not take care of the customers, we waited 10 mins to be seated everyone walking by on phones talking to each other then seated another 10 minutes to take order when coffee arrived all the front employees 4 waitresses and female manager all laughing and not paying any attention to customers ask a waitress that was rolling silverware for coffe she just showed a finer sign of wait a lil bit and continued ignoring us manager got her plate of food and sat down ignoring anyone because it's now her break my husband went to her on the issue and she stayed I'm on my break during all this time manager never greeted or ask any customer if everything was good, we did not stay and told manager she just stayed " have a nice day" she should be fired along with the other 3 your business will loose out with this kind of " help" smh read more

The hostess / waitress was really friendly and apologetic on many mishaps with our meal. The food was cold, steak was over salted, and the bread arrived 10 min later than our breakfasts and they ran out of ranch and biscuits. The bathrooms were also filthy and out of toilet seat covers. The manager that was non existent on the floor eventually came over to give us an apology but didn't offer any comp or discount. My bf also works for Denny's corporate and has a 25% off card and they didn't honor the discount. They caved in and gave us 20% off for all the mishaps. The main reason why I'm giving 5 full stars is because of an employee there with the name Jacob on his nametag! We came late at night on Easter, like 9 or 10pm. It was probably towards the end of their shift maybe, I don't know their schedules, but it was definitely the end of the day. Jacob was not only so friendly and accommodating, but he was funny and made my family laugh. He made all the difference to our experience. Dennys has always been one of my staples. My friend who is Laos and I am Mexican decided to try this Dennys. It was not busy and seated quickly. However, the server we received did not care to serve us. We felt strong energy that our color of our skin played a part. The waitress was slow getting our order. My friend order a warm plate and came out cold. I order a salad and it was nothing what I visioned. It look skimmpy with a whole lot of iceburg lettuce.The waitress never checked up on us after the frist attempt. We didn't finish the food for it was aweful and didnt want to cause choas. The staff of Dennys knew what they were doing. We were sat in front of the kitchen window and the cooks were staring at us. We left and felt uncomfortable. Never again will we come back. Here to pick up my wife's free breakfast on her birthday month. You can download the app and get a free breakfast. We arrived and we're greeted by a new staff member and my wife showed the birthday treat on her phone. The new staff member didn't know how to process the app on the cash register and had to ask another staff member how to use the app. This staff member said we had to sit and be served at the restaurant and couldn't order takeout. Since I took my birthday breakfast this past January as a takeout I questioned what had changed In takeout policy. This staff member answered rudely and basically said "it's always been this way". Long story short, I asked to speak to the manager. Voicing my concern over customer service and policy, the manager was kind enough to make my wife's breakfast as takeout. We enjoy coming to Denny's in Clovis because it has faves for all the family; children's milkshake & birthday pancakes with crispy bacon. Grandma has senior omelette with pancakes & hash browns, and dad has chicken fried steak. All are reliably cooked well. On this past Sunday, we were greeted by a big smile, lovely, charming waitress named Laura. Her warm personality charmed us and we even enjoyed our breakfast more. She is quick and efficient with a positive charismatic attitude. My grandson loves the stuff animal vending machine & he always plays. He fell for Kelly the gray bear; and he begged for more $$ to get her. This Sunday he got her, with how much we spent we could have bought it at the store but this was so thrilling! COVID-19 Phase: My mother called and ordered a veggie omelet w/ ham and jalapeños added and a cinnamon roll pancake with sugar free syrup. She said it wound be 15inutes. Thee worker was very kind! We went to get it and they have curbside in these tough times. A masked worker came up and was very kind. I paid for the order and the worker brought it out. The breakfast was delicious! My omelet half was fresh and tasty! Great veggies and ham! Egg cooked perfectly! Then the cinnamon roll pancake! Scrumptious! Just like a cinnamon roll! They include great icing too! Food was okay, waitress was stressed-out and over-worked - they should have more servers and more cashiers for this location. We had to wait forever to even get a table because they only had one cashier and no hostess to seat people. One thing that should be pointed out in my review, is that they should not sweep the floors when they have customer and kick up all kinds of dust and dirt around where people are trying to eat - It is really irritating when they do this. It does not create a good atmosphere to be in. They should at least wait until the customers leave instead of sweeping around their feet while their trying to enjoy their food. read more

I've been here before and dined in and it was lovely! The meals are absolutely delicious, and the staff are nice, but it is always a really long wait. It is family friendly and feels like a warm place to be. However, I ordered take out for the first time and I had a pretty large order. I got the Lumberjack Slam which was supposed to come with toast, pancakes, eggs, hash browns with cheese, etc. but when I opened the package, there was NO toast and NO cheese. This Denny's was a nightmare. When we got there they said there was a 15 minute wait I looked around and there were so many tables open they just weren't cleaning them. And when they did clean them they used napkins.... Dry napkins. Don't even get me started on the menus. All the pages were stuck together and they had hair all over them. Our waitress was sweet but service was horrible took forever and gave us Diet Coke when we asked for Coke Zero. My daughter's food was beyond salty which wasn't okay because it was off the kids menu. This place is disgustingly dirty with horrible service. Take your family to a better Denny's that is clean. read more

I ordered the NY steak and eggs, medium rare. I was given a choice strip steak, well done. My wife received a bite sized sausage with her slam combo and bacon the size of 3 inch shoe strings.
