Chicken chilaquiles with an egg on top.

This was our first time here. It was soooo delicious. There were a lot of people but the wait time was not long at all we waited like 2 minutes to get a table. And probably around 10-15 mins to get our food after being seated. The food was very good. Definitely will be going back when we are in the area for breakfast. The pancake was the size of the whole plate it was very good.

Went back for my fiancé's birthday breakfast and had the cinnamon roll pancakes with sunny side up eggs and bacon. Everything was absolutely delicious and the vibe was great. Our service was excellent and we will definitely be back soon..

Really excited to try this place. Parking is terrible. Ordered an omelette and s'mores pancake. The pancake was completely disgusting. Graham crackers were old. Chocolate thrown everywhere. Barely any marshmallow. Definitely heard good things about the pancakes. My pancake its self was dry and bland. Omelette barley had cheese and was sloppy as well. Omelette wasn't flavorful. I paid $60 for two meals was not worth it. In my opinion Clovis location is way better. Service was slow but they were nice.

Yummy! We have been customers at Batter Up Pancakes for several years. It has always been delicious! A cousin came to visit us. We decided to take him there for a great, relaxing breakfast. Everything we ate was great! The pancakes are the best! The coffee was good. There were lots of people waiting but the line went quickly. Great friendly service and ambience! A real family restaurant. We will be back!

Service was great. Our waitress was attentive but she brought me the wrong creamer. No biggie. The ambiance was very casual. We went on a Wednesday, perfect day to go. Nobody in line to enter and we were seated right away. The food was very delicious. My meal was in the oily side. Still delicious. I would have it better with a little bit of less oil though. The chocolate Oreo pancake was a disappointment. It didn't taste good at all. The meat lover omelette was pretty tasty and filling. My husband mentioned he will get hash browns next time. And his French toast, oh my. He was in heaven with them. So freaking delicious. He want to go back again to eat everything again. The coffee was very good freshly made and so good. I enjoyed my vegan meal very much. The hash browns were so crispy and so delicious. I am getting hungry just writing this review. I highly recommend.

    The Monster Burger! $19.99

It's always a treat when in town to stop by the original Batter Up Pancakes location. I will always maintain this is my favorite breakfast restaurant of all time. This time we came at a later hour where we could order from both the breakfast and lunch menu. I, of course ordered my usual omelette and pancake side. The Trip to the Mound omelette comes with choice of bacon, sausage or ham plus sautéed spinach, mushroom, onions, tomato, and cheddar & jack cheeses. At $19.99 plus the added $3.99 for egg whites, this is no cheap breakfast. The additional charge is extraordinarily high compared to my experiences at other breakfast places. My son ordered the Monster Burger, our first to touch the lunch menu. And boy was that burger monstrous! The 1/3 lb patty comes with ham, bacon, fried egg, cheddar, swiss, jalapeño pepper jack, mayo, ketchup, tomato, red onion, lettuce & pickle plus a side. For $19.99, I can see how they justify the price with all that's piled into this burger. We did take our food to go given the wait to dine in was over 30 minutes. It took about 15 minutes for our food to be ready. It was still piping hot by the time we got it back home. Despite the higher prices for the Fresno area, our meal was a home run!

BatterUP is where breakfast dreams come true - or at least, where they get deep-fried and covered in syrup! This place is so cozy, it's like eating in a grandma's hug (if your grandma was a short-order cook). I tackled the chicken fried steak and pancakes like a hungry bear emerging from hibernation, and let me tell you, not a crumb survived. And the cheeseburger with bacon? It was so perfect, I'm pretty sure angels sang when my son took the first bite. If you're looking for a place to carbo-load and feel like you're cheating on your diet in the best way possible, BatterUP is your spot!

Great food, decent wait time. We waited about 30m around 1030ish am on a Saturday. Everyone enjoyed their food, the orange juice was so fresh and so good. Good service as well even though it was busy.

Denver omelette, hash browns, pancake and French toast. All fresh and delicious!

Came for Mother's Day breakfast. Waited over an hour for a table and we checked in at 8am. By the time we got seated, the wait was up to two hours The food was delicious! Everything had a bunch of flavors. Loved how the dinner has an old dinner feel to it. The only thing I would want to see improvement on is the wait times as we still waited 45 mins for our food to be ready after we ordered. It seemed like everyone wasn't working as a team together.

It's a classic diner-style breakfast spot that also serves lunch, and it really delivers on the big portions! Menu is extensive, overwhelming for sure, personally I don't dig big menus. The service was excellent: friendly, helpful, and very welcoming. It's a family friendly place too, with high chairs, a kids' menu, and crayons to keep little ones entertained. Heads up: the portions are massive. Like, seriously huge. Unless you're absolutely starving, I'd recommend ordering to share or you'll either be bringing home half your plate or wondering how you ended up in a competitive eating contest. (We learned the hard way!) We tried the chile verde omelette, which was flavorful, though not exactly authentic in terms of seasoning. We added two pancakes on the side and wow, the pancakes are a highlight. Fluffy, buttery, and about 12 inches wide definitely shareable and absolutely delicious. So make sure you share or you'll be a victim of the obesity epidemic. We also had the chilaquiles with chorizo. Again, not the most traditional salsa, but it was tasty and satisfying. Overall, we'd come back, especially now that we know how to order. Food was okay, their pancakes are their forte. Great for a casual meal, especially if you're hungry or dining with a group. Just be prepared: everything here is supersized.

I recommend joining the online waitlist before heading there because there is solidly a 30-45 minute wait. Came on a Thursday midday hoping there would not be a wait but that wasn't the case. Waited about 35 minutes to be seated. Service is a bit disorganized, multiple staff approached us, we did not have just have one server so that made things a bit confusing as far as knowing who to approach in case we needed anything. The food is average, nothing special. I got the Tri-tip sandwich. All the condiments come separate on the sandwich, so you have to request for them to put like BBQ or mayo depending on your liking. The size of the sandwich was actually big. The Tri-tip in the sandwich was good, nothing overtop, but it did not have that smoky taste to it which had me a little disappointed. The fries were good, nice salt balance. My dad got an omelet and it was a good size. He said it was pretty good. The pancake was huge. It had crispy edges and was soft on the inside. Had a nice buttery flavor. That was a win overall. There was a family a couple of tables over who ordered chilaquiles which looked very appetizing. IF I decide to go back one day, I will be ordering the chilaquiles. In all honesty this breakfast place is not worth the wait. If you are really curious then come see for yourself, but personally, it was nothing special.

Would this be a good place to have a baby shower? Like is there any private areas?

No lol! Not at all! The food and service is very good but it's usually a long wait and the eating area is open, no secluded area for a private party.

Is one pancake big enough for one person or should I order two, thinking of getting the cinnamon roll one?

one is big enough and the first one comes with a better icing than two stacked. so delicious!!!

Both were served with their made-onsite orange blossom syrup, which went very well with the pancakes. Everything was wonderful, however the sujok beef patty was my favorite.
