We haven't been there since last year from the previous incident this dining experience this time was way better The service was on point the place was packed the staff was friendly people were talking communicating having a great time That's how Red lobster or any place should operate. People were happy there were laughing having a great time interacting with the stuff interacting with their family That's what it's all about. The food was on point the biscuits was hot the everything was fresh and hot to your table nothing was cold everything was hot ready to go. I order the shrimp and lobster linguini My son ordered the fish and chips and my mom ordered the shrimp on shrimp and our sides were mozzarella sticks and the coconut shrimp my son absolutely loves their coconut shrimp. I know this sounds cliche, but save yourself from disappointment and eat elsewhere. Let me also acknowledge that being a server and working in the food industry can be challenging, but that doesn't mean you shouldn't get at minimum, satisfactory service. From the start I knew things were questionable when we got there for a 12:45 pm lunch reservation and we sat and waited almost fifteen minutes to be seated. May I also add, it was not busy or packed. Our waitress Hannah came unraveled quite quickly and ruined our lunch experience. She presented as nice but her apology tour and constant sorry's were a diversion to her lack of attention. She was directing every question and her endless apologies at my husband, maybe assuming that would help her in some way. It took over 30 minutes to get an appetizer we didn't order. It took a good hour to get our actual food. We seen people come in after us and leave way before us, and their parties were larger. I asked for a refill on my ice tea 5x and they should have also filled my water, but instead took it away. Our waitress Hannah was told that my cocktail fork for the crab was given to me dirty with food stuck on it, she took it away and never replaced it. We also asked for a metal cracker, but were told they didn't have any and I was only given a PLASTIC utensil to crack open my crab. I ended up using the end of a steak knife to help me. My husband had endless shrimp. And for his final order, Hannah said she wouldn't put the order in until he finished what he was currently eating. He was simply trying to get ahead of the game since she was completely scatterbrained. Asked for the check twice before actually getting it, and with extreme reluctance I still tipped her, generously. Needless to say, we will NEVER return. This was horrible service and the food gave us a stomach ache. I'm not sure where the problem lies, but it's fair to say that management is responsible for this poorly run restaurant. I wouldn't be shocked if this place closed in the near future, it's completely disintegrated into seated fast food service, and that's being nice. It's been years since we ate at a Red Lobster, so we were intrigued to try it again. We came at lunch time, but even so there weren't many patrons. The server brought menus, biscuits and napkin rolled flatware pretty quickly, but the flatware was terribly spotted, and we found ourselves wiping it all off. A look at the menu prices reminded us of why we generally eat elsewhere. We did, however, find some reasonably priced lunch specials. The place was very dark, and reminiscent of a slight dinginess. So far we were less than impressed. We ordered the hand breaded fried shrimp dish and the Southwestern shrimp bowl, and this is where the visit turned positive! Both dishes were well presented, well prepared and delicious! The fried shrimp came with a cocktail sauce and a tarter sauce that were delicious, and the shrimp bowl had a refreshing citrus finish and a tiny spicy bite that were wonderful. Our server checked in us several times to make sure we had everything we wanted, and was quick and accurate. We enjoyed our meals very much. We do recommend the place for lunch. read more

Not the biggest sea fan but went with a group of friends and family today. I ordered the cheeseburger and this is what was presented to me. Completely overcooked, shredded cheese and no tomato or lettuce though that's what's stated on the menu. Sent it back and ordered chicken linguini. I waited over 11 minutes before it was brought to the table. At this time everyone had finished eating so sent the item back as well. Very poor experience overall. Happy New Year's Day! We went out for dinner, decided to treat ourselves to Red Lobster. We have not been in a while, but thought it time to try again. Greeted at the door and seated immediately. They were surprisingly busy. I ordered a Bloody Mary, a signature drink, while we looked over the menus handed to us, along with biscuits and an iced tea. The Bloody Mary came first, beautiful with three olives, but no celery. It tasted like Clamato juice with pepper in it, I had to send it back. Okay on to the food.... We both ordered the Admiral's platter- but they were out of baked potatoes at 3:30 in the afternoon. So mashed it is fully loaded at an extra cost. Food was slow to come, but tasted very good. The biscuits filled us up, so we brought the majority of our meal home. The waitress was friendly, and accommodating, with a smile, but for two meals, with no extras to cost $100.00 I want a little bit more! Again it will be awhile before we go back. read more

You know Red Lobster, it's the fancy Denny's for a family night out. Easy beginner seafood either plain steam, fried or drowned in butter and cocktail sauce. Ngl, I always wanted to go to Red Lobster as a child with their commercials that were basically brainwashing me that it was the best place to eat lobster and have their famous cheddar bay biscuits. I mean you basically get to pick your own lobster to have it your way. Surprisingly their lobster was cooked way better than the tails at Ruth Chris. OFC our server was really accommodating and friendly. The interior of Red Lobster is pretty dark and unkempt, I think they need to update their whole setting to make it more inviting. read more

We went back to try their new seafood boil. It was better than what we expected with all the mixed reviews we saw online. The Mariner's options came with two pieces of crabs and lobsters along with some shrimps, 2 sweet corns, and red potatoes. We mixed both sauce options, Roasted garlic butter and Cajun butter. They're served in a plastic bag on a metal tray. It was lacking the sauce so I would recommend ordering extra sauce on the side which was 3.49. Service was okay this time around, but biscuits were replaced with fresh batch during dinning. Overall, compared to a real seafood boil place, this was basic in flavor and quality. read more

Red Lobster review coming in hot! Because when my kids' grandfather (papa) wants endless crab-legs, and he's paying, you abide. I did have my doubts before walking in, but were those doubts were extinguished once our super friendly server, Jasmine?, took our drink and app orders. The drink and food came out very quick. The fried calamari was very good and the sauce paired with it was fantastic! But we all know fried calamari is an appetizer layup. The crispy brussels had awesome flavor too, but they were a little greasy. I ordered the daily deal for Wednesday which was steak and lobster. A surprisingly large portion that also comes with a side of my choice, I went with broccoli. The steak was cooked very well and the lobster was firm, but not chewy and had great flavor. My wife's shrimp was ok, but way too much butter. She loved them though. The service was awesome, the food was delicious, but this location could use a major decor update. It's very dated and very dark. Stick with the nautical theme, but a simple brightening up of the interior would make this place more inviting. Also, make the bar bigger! This bar area is small and still has a tube tv shoved in a cubby. Maybe Red Lobster will rebrand and become the next Target of the chain restaurant world. read more

The food came to our table 40 minutes after our lunch order was taken. We were forced to box it to go and asked three times for the check. By this time we were forced to cancel our appointment set for after lunch. We unboxed our food to eat while it was still warm. We ordered more drinks. I haven't been here in years and decided to come back due to the popular seafood boils they now offer. I don't think I'll be back anytime soon, respectively. First I arrived at 6:15 got seat and then got drinks and their famous cheddar bay biscuits (8/10) (one of the main reasons why I decided to go here in the first place) We didn't get our food until 7:30! An HOUR AND HALF after we arrived. The Food looked okay but it looks like they just tossed alittle bit of sauce on the crab legs and called it day. The mariners boil I asked for both of the sauces they offered and I could only taste one and the legs barely had any meat but the quality wasn't terrible (6/10). My GF got a Crab dish where it's 1 pound of Crab and that was even less seasoned. She ordered it with Cajun butter seasoning and they definitely skimped. She said the crab taste in like dish soap. (4/10) The bill came out to $104 before tip which is OUTRAGEOUS for a MID meal. BUT one thing I can't deny is how well the service was, I don't remember my waiters name but she was very nice and attentive so although the food wasn't to expectations I still made sure she was tipped well for her service. P.S. I might be alittle harder on them as they made me Scarf down the food as I had F1 Reservations at 8pm and we had 15 minutes to eat down all the food. read more

Went to Red Lobster to celebrate a birthday this evening and we got sat immediately and got drinks reasonably quick we wait almost 45 mins for our food and it was disappointing.I got the wild caught crunch fried flounder and it was so salty infact everything was salty even my broccoli and mash potatoes which I can tell have been sitting there for a long time.I will never go back to Red Lobster the prices were ridiculous and the atmosphere was dimly lit and there was a loud table next to us, when I left I was still hungry because I couldn't physically finish my food. read more

They revamp their menu, and feature a host of all-time favorites, in addition to reasonably priced specials for those us with a tight budget. Kind of a mixed bag here. Came to eat lunch on a weekday, and were surprised that almost every table was available. Though our server was kind, personable, and helpful, the amount of time it took to actually have the food made really was excessively long. In addition, 3 individuals in our group didn't receive their meals until about 10 minutes after everyone else. This made for an uncomfortable situation for those who did have their food. The Cheddar Bay Biscuits were brought out and refilled without asking, so that's a plus. Also, adjustments and substitutions for orders were accommodated. Tables were wiped clean, but the actual condition of them was a little rough. There were also flies I had to shoo away off my food and straw throughout the meal. Brussel Sprouts were good, as were the mixed greens. Other items preferred at the table were the Southwest Shrimp Bowl and Crab Legs. Kids enjoyed the mac and cheese far more than the chicken strips. Overall, it wasn't horrible, but the ambiance, length of time for food preparation and timing overall without the restaurant being busy...disappointing. The waiter himself is what earned that 3rd star, otherwise, honestly would have been a 2 star overall. Being with family is what mattered most, and we did all eat our meals. I truly hope there is some investment in the future of the dining experience for patrons here. Even small strides like refreshing dining areas and maintenance of space, as well as timing food prep can go a long way in repeat customers. read more

Start by stating the obvious. Food is great. I've been coming to this location for 20 years and we come during both dinner and lunch times. Today was a lunch experience and it will 100% be out last. Walked in at 12:39pm, 6 other people in the restaurant, easily 1 to 1 ratio with staff to customers. The place was empty. We ordered an dinner plate $56 App $15 One drink $4 Child's plate $8 That's $90. You no longer get soup or salad included. Ok weird thing to upsell. The value is gone, Red Lobster is trying to be an upscale restaurant and it isn't. After $45 minutes my wife took our son to the car as we still weren't given our food. I waiting an additional 15 minutes to have my food to go. It was never served to us. The child macaroni and cheese is $8 and fits in a 1/2 cup to go cup. That is the only thing you get for $8. I'm assuming the tall guy in a polo is a manager, might want to turn your head while walking back and forth and see the half dozen patrons complaining about zero service. If you spend $100 on a single dinner and app you expect service. I just remembered we walked in and weren't great for may be 5-10 minutes. Just hanging out in the lobby with two other people. We average 5 plus times a year at this location. I'll forgive the service. Clearly the cooks are struggling. But upselling a customer for a salad is the final straw. Went with family to celebrate my dads birthday, heather was our server she took so long to check on us, she said it was because she had to translate for another table but their was hardly any ppl there, as a server their was no excuse for taking that long to be attentive we were there for a total of 3 hours and half the time we were just waiting to see her again . got our food late and ordered a seafood boil she knew we were ordering one to share for whole family and didn't even tell us it was a portion for 2 ppl, seafood boil was warm not even hot, they never came to sing to my dad, told manager situation he told heather that we wanted to talk to her instead of him handling it . Won't be coming again . Experience was horrible, if I would have served one of my tables at my job the way she served us tonight I would have been fired . Don't recommend this place especially if you're planning a special dinner with family . Highly disappointed, I do appreciate manager working with our bill but we just can't get that time back . I went to Red Lobster the first time yesterday. The food was average but the service could be a bit better. I'm unsure if they were low staffed or busy but the server took 15-20 minutes to refill our waters. Along with that, I accidentally tipped my glass of water while eating making the table wet. One of the other servers heard the glass tipped and went to where I was at to peek at the situation. They did not offer any help or any additional napkins so I can wipe it down. They just walked away. I ended up using my napkin that came with utensils to wipe the table down. Again, this is just my personal experience. I don't think I will be coming here again. read more

Asked for straws was told they were out but the tables around us had straws then when leaving the rest of the restaurant tables had straws. Went in for a Christmas dinner and was pleasantly surprised at how great it was, from when we were sat to the finale. It only took about 5 minutes to get seated (but by the time we were done, it was pretty packed in the waiting room). Our server was brilliant and I wish I had her name, but she was incredibly nice and attentive, especially considering she was working on CHRISTMAS DAY. They had a set menu, but I kind of understand that since, you know, Christmas. But, beyond that, I'm happy they were open that day and able to accommodate us. Nice experience dining at Red Lobster. The restaurant is nice inside with comfortable booths for a relaxing dinner. Our server was great! Very helpful and friendly. We received a gift card for Christmas and wanted to try the dockside duos. We tried the coconut shrimp and the fish and chips. We chose the Ceasars salad and the cup of clam chowder for our starters. Everything was fresh and warm. I really enjoyed the coconut shrimp and the sauce that came with it. Both the clam chowder and Ceasars salad were very good. DONT COME FOR THE SEAFOOD BOIL. Took 20 mins to get a seat (which is not bad). Then it took about another 20 mins before someone came to offer us drinks and give us bread. Another 10 mins for our waitress to show up to take our order. At this point she warns us it's about a 40 min wait to get our food. We waited another hour and 30 minutes for our meal to get there to get some cheap version of microwaveable seafood boil, like wtf. Def not worth it. We were also the waitress's only table and not once after taking our order did she stop by to check on us, give us an update, or anything! We had to speak to the manager to find out what's going on. This is always a special time for my mother and myself to come to this Red Lobster. I grew up in Fresno but have lived out of town for the last decade. Whenever I'm back in town we always make sure to come here for dinner and catch up on life. For dinner we usually split a bottle of white wine and enjoy the delicious bread as an appetizer. For my entree without question I always get the ultimate feast. It has everything you want and fills me up perfectly. My Mom usually finds the special or goes with some sort of seafood medley. We've always been treated great and our servers are pretty attentive. We'll usually take a booth or somewhere not next to parties so we can hear.
