I went about 5am and it was 2 other groups there. I was greeted upon entering and was seated. The hostess/waitress was very friendly and attentive, even though she was doing both. I ordered a green smoothie and a French toast slam with turkey bacon and eggs over hard. Let me tell you, my food was cooked to perfection and the smoothie was so delicious. We tried this restaurant and I tell this place needs some management or owner's attention. Their service is slow; I mean we waited for almost an hour for our food, but decided to leave after following up with the server about how much longer and he said another 7 minutes, so we left. I forgot to mention their table was dirty, looked like it just got used and not clean, and also homeless people were passing by where we were seated near the restroom. As my husband and I were driving through town on our way back home, we decided to stop for a bite and saw this Denny's ahead. Glad we stopped because we were hungrier than we realized! As soon as we entered, we were greeted and seated. Our server offered to take our order right away, but we weren't ready unfortunately. Our server gave us a few minutes and we were able to put in our order. Within a few minutes, we were served our food. It was crazy fast! My husband had the slam burger with seasoned fries and I had the boneless wings with barbecue sauce and a side of ranch. His burger was fantastic and it was gone within minutes. The fries were warm and crispy but the seasoning wasn't bad but it wasn't that great either. Just tasted like normal fries. I loved the barbecue boneless wings. They were delicious and the sauce wasn't overly sweet. Just a great snack overall! We ended our meal with their apple crisp and it was exactly what we were in the mood for. The apples were warmed and paired perfectly with the cool vanilla bean ice cream. We would go back just to have this for dessert again. Overall we had fantastic service and delicious food! If you have the Dennys app like I do and want to get your free bday breakfast, don't come to this one. Their scanner doesn't work and even though my current cell number is associated with my account , they conveniently couldn't find my acct. Get your scanner fixed so app holders like myself can use the app there. Manager eventually gave me my breakfast for free after standing there and going back and forth for 10 mins. Service was horrible, we went in around 2pm Fri.they were not busy at all. It took forever for our order to be taken, and every time we needed something it was hard to get someone's attention,not once we're we checked on to see if we needed anything. While sitting there I saw a homeless people go into the bathroom. Decided to stop here for some breakfast before a training class down the road. Hadn't been to dennys in years prior. Dennys wouldn't be my typical choice but considering I had limited time and its proximity to my class I went in. The place is clean and the hostess/waitress greeted us right when we entered, she sat us immediately. It wasn't super busy since it was early, she was the only one working but still was attentive to each customer. Some were dining in and some picking up orders to go, she provided great service. I ordered the T-bone steak breakfast and I was surprised at how good it was. Again I hadn't been to dennys in years and in my mind kind of wrote it off as a lower tier place. This visit changed my mind. My coworkers got the same meal except for one which he ordered the country fried steak, he said it was bland. But the three of us who ordered steak breakfasts really enjoyed ours. Giving it a 3 star because of some patrons/ people who came in while we dined who caused a commotion. So a good old friend of mine and I try to get together for breakfast every so often just to catch up because life gets hectic. We were supposed to go to Rodéo Café in Norco, but due to the rain and all the traffic we just decided to just hit up a Denny's worst mistake ever! Upon waking in, I was immediately greeted by one of the waitresses with a smile. She asked me how many I said two. After sitting me down while waiting for my friend. She asked me if I would like coffee I said yes please. As a patiently sat and waited , I happen to notice plenty of customers that came in after me being served coffee. She completely forgot about me. I had to remind her, eh it happens but they weren't busy at the time. Once she gave us coffee, she gave us flavored creamer. Upon opening at least 20 different containers they were all spoiled. They look like cottage cheese. It was so gross. Instead of apologizing, she kept repeatedly saying she's had no complaints ,she's had no complaints, over & over. Nor did she offer a refund on the coffee anything. I ended up ordering the Santa Fe skillet and since I don't like eggs, I asked if I could substitute it for toast she said no. I usually don't have any complaints about this Denny's. My husband and I normally order to go and that's what we did today for breakfast and I was very disappointed. Now I know prices have gone up everywhere but please don't cut corners and think we aren't going to notice. I always order the moons over my hammy sandwich and today I was surprised to see how little ingredients I got. I was stuck with big pieces of bread and hardly any ingredients. When I tell you how mad I was that I paid a 60$ tab when the food was cold and undercooked. I just wanted to have Christmas dinner with my family. Granted it was busy so I wasn't even upset about the no refills and long wait for the food to come or to even order. But they ended up closing the restraunt so they could leave early and just had to serve us and about 5 other tables. With 3 servers . We ordered and everyone's food except mine came out. . The burger my husband got was already a bit room tempature and fries were cold. My sons grilled cheese was slapped together cheese was barely melted , anyways My family waited for me to be served before eating the meal I finally get my meal and when I cut it open the "plate lock-in chicken meal" the inside was actually frozen, pink it has white and a pale pink sticking out of all pieces. Before I could even tell my server she went off. And didn't come back for 17 minutes yes I actually timesd it at this point I told my family to eat and wait for refills on the drinks as we have been here at this point for 45 minuteres. And my son is only eating his graves and pieces of the bread of his grilled cheese finally she comes back with the tab and when I tell her she just gives me a blank stare and says sorry. As if I'm the annoying one for saying it's undercooked. She than asks what do I want me to do? I said you know what please just take it off my tab It won't make sense to wait for another one because everyone's food is cold, can you remake all of the food at least sk it's fresh? Sorry the kitchen is closed now? Okay can we get the meals comps because barely anything was eaten? No . After evrything I paid 60$ and it was awkward bc even telling. Them about the problem left them cold towards me and it was for literally nothing. I'm beyond upset and loving with this experice.
