I ordered a chicken and sausage quesadilla this morning and I went home to open a box of food I wouldn't allow my dog to eat. This was absolutely ridiculous! It looks like someone took two slices of American cheese, put it in pieces, but only about 1/3 of cheese ended up in each "quesadilla". I wish I would have actually looked at it before I left because I definitely would have asked for my money back! I didn't believe that anyone could fuck up a quesadilla so royally that I didn't want to eat it, which is why I didn't check it. Next time I'll know to say no to a Denny's run; or at least THIS CRAPPY LOCATION. The fact that I'm actually very hungry and refused to eat this, says how shitty my order was! I'm a truck driver. I come in here about a half a dozen times a year. It always seems understaffed. The staff is always friendly but it seems they are spread thin. Always a long wait to be seated. Always a long wait to pay. I NEED COFFEE! ! As I'm writing this review I've been timing how long I wait for coffee. So far 16 minutes my mug is dry. Unacceptable. This is not a employee problem. I can honestly say this is the worst place at a truck stop that I've ever eaten at. After waiting almost 45 minutes to get our food after we ordered it (with everyone else around us being seated, ordering, getting their food, and finishing it) before our waitress, Susan, ever brought out our food. Which when we did finally get the food, it was cold and wasn't what we ordered. No one had given us any silverware when we were seated so we had nothing to eat with when the food did arrive. Our waitress only had two sets of silverware in her apron so one of the other wait staff was kind enough to take time away from his customers to try and help us out. If not the rest of us would have been eating our cold food with our fingers. One person in our party ordered the Grand Slam meal and told our waitress to scramble the eggs. She even came back about 10 minutes after taking the initial order to ask him how he wanted the eggs cooked. Well to our surprise when they finally came out they were cooked over-easy, definitely not scrambled. The cinnamon roll pancake breakfast my daughter ordered had very little cinnamon in/on them. I went to the front counter to tell the manager about it and he was very nice and said that he would have a new order made. When they came out, the manager brought them to our table and they were at least hot, but still did not have a lot of cinnamon on the top of them. Susan, our waitress, came over and asked why they brought us another order of pancakes. We told her they didn't have cinnamon on them like the menu said, and she took her finger and pointed so closely to the pancakes that her fingernail touched the topping, and proceeded to tell us that the cinnamon was inside and that it wasn't supposed to be on the top, even though the menu said it was on the top (and the picture in the menu showed it that way). Also, we were never even asked or offered refills on our beverages. After we finished eating, we were waiting on our bill, which Susan never delivered to us. We went to the front counter and one of the other waitresses was kind enough to get our check from Susan and ring us up. After hearing about the problems that we had experienced and the fact that our food was cold, she graciously gave us a 25% discount and apologized for everything that had happened. I doubt we will be eating at Denny's ever again. read more

Do not get take out from here. We live nearby and figured we would order for pick up being they are usually slammed on the weekend. Much to our surprise they were not which makes the awful meals we got that much more unbelievable and senseless. The biscuits and gravy were an utter and sheer embarrassment. The biscuits were the size of quarters and even through they were ordered separate they were mixed in with the hash browns which were also burnt. The rest of the meal was just about the same. Ordered 3 sides of bacon and was literally 4 broken and tiny pieces yet charged us a premium. To top it all off were supposed to get two orange juices and when we got home they were apple juices. So yeah literally got not one thing right. I would not recommend you spend you hard earned money there. read more

We had a great waitress Cyndi. We have some food allergies and ask if it was possible to modify two of the skillet dishes. The manager went out of his way to not only making sure that one of the dishes had no dairy but came up with an excellent version changing a chicken skillet into an amazing vegetarian version. Met a couple of friends for breakfast that were passing through on 1.26.20, we had an issue with our breakfast taking awhile to come out to our table and when we received it, it wasn't as hot as we would desired. We went in the early morning hours. Nice interior, and clean. Waitstaff was friendly, and the food came out quickly. Pretty good!

Morris is an expert server. We needed a meal in 20 minutes and we ordered right when we were seated. Food was out in less than 10 minutes and managers were attentive. Although this particular location is one of the understaffed ones, all servers present amazing service even of they are working the whole floor. the food was horrible - I threw it all in the trash - waiting for the husband to come home to try the "con gri"cause I don't eat that. Here's what I got and it was inedible. Tamale - had absolutely no taste and maybe I was just unlucky but saw no pork in it - trashed it. guayaba and guayaba con queso pastelitos - horrible - they completely disintegrated - the pastry was sawdust when I cut into it and the fillings were dry and burnt - trashed. Like I said I'm waiting to hear how the con gri is but I'm not optimistic. I cannot tell you how happy I was to know there was a Cuban place in town that I could possibly order from for parties or Friday night family game night - I'll have to keep looking - this was awful read more

I really dont know what to expect when walking into this restaurant. Half of the time ive been there the srvice was great as was the food the. The other half the service was less than impressive and the waot times for food was way longer than needed. We ordered skewered steak and eggs..Unfortunately they did not provide a chainsaw to cut the streak or Alka Seltzer for after dinner to cut the grease. When we placed our order the server said that we could have bread for an additional 99 cents. In all of my seventy plus years this is certainly a first. When I expressed my amazement and displeasure she said "well, this is a restaurant!" Huh? Twenty minutes after asking for ice water I again made the request, and she said she had poured it but forgot to bring it to the table..yikes! I have to say this is one of the worst Dennys we have been to. First it took them awhile to sit us keep in mind about three waitresses passed us by and not even a hello I'll be right with y'all. After they finally sat us take in mind I had my phone out and saw that it took 15 min to get just waters. I could understand if the place was full but not even close to half. After we finally got our drinks we ordered took 45 min for a skillet and a grilled fish to come out what really got too us was that our food was so cold most likely for just sitting at their counter. We had an unexpected treat tonight at Denny's. It was late and we stopped in for dinner. The food was fresh and delicious. I had the Zesty Nachos with fresh pico. The service was outstanding. You can read my tip. I seldomly go there. It's actually hooked up with a convenience store/truck stop. It's clean but sometimes the atmosphere is different than a stand alone store. You can tell the difference. If that doesn't matter to you, then stop by. To me I like a nice quiet meal. Not people looking in from the place connected to it read more
