Well. It USED to be good. I guess they lost their cooks and waitstaff when they did the renovation - because now - service and food are subpar. The renovation sucks...the seats are hard and uncomfortable, and given their demographic (elderly) - hard to get out of. I had written to their HQS and told them that there was a Chinese restaurant nearby that had raised booths, and that Denny's might want to look at doing that in their reno - but they chose to ignore it - never even responded. We went back twice after the reno - assuming that the first visit we might just have gotten unlucky with the cook - but after the 2nd bad experience - we were done. read more

They do not deserve a star. The worst service I have ever experienced. We had to seat ourselves, get our own menus I'm surprised we didn't get our own drinks because they were to lazy chatting away with the cooks. we spent a good 20 min at our booth waiting for the waitress. Cooks are not very good at following directions. Ordered hashbrowns with cheese, extra bacon , neither one showed up.

How disorganized can you be? The restuarant was 1/2 empty and I counted10 employees. There were 5 couples waiting to be seated. When we left 5 minutes later NO ONE HAD BEEN SEATED. We have been there 3 times and it has been this way each time. When you do get seated you then get to wait and wait for your food. With a good manager this could easily be fixed. read more

We Came here to eat on my moms birthday we spend around $80 something. They never come to our table refill our water. The workers just sand there talking to each other. And Usually you get a Grand Slam for free or discount on your birthday. One of my friend told who works here. But we didn't order a Grand Slam and we are still able to get the discount but they wouldn't offer to us I asked to speak with their manager the server said manager is busy right now. And I was still waiting for like five minutes talking to managers. Never show up! His is not how you do business! Anyway We would never come back to this place again. read more

I called in a 16 person order at around midnight on Saturday for work. I needed it to be done accurately, finished on time and named. Gabriel went above and beyond the call of duty. Because the to-go boxes are black, he had to painstakingly write out each name and order on a piece of paper and staple them to each box. He could have left me to fend for myself but Gabriel took the initiative to do this and it was so helpful. I couldn't be more grateful for his hard work. Waitress was good and this is not a reflection of her. The restaurant manager doesn't understand how to resolve problems when they arise. She allows one of her employees to argue with the customer and make us look like the bad guys when we are the customer. There were lots of flys in the restaurant and we told her that and she said "oh". We asked for the corporate # because we didn't like her attitude towards us, and she said that we don't give that out. read more

I had lunch here and was really disappointed. The servers that served us reeked of cigarette smoke. The whole place needs a good cleaning! I overheard some of the servers arguing. It just could be so much better. Does management ever care? This could be a nice place, the salads we got weren't that bad. read more

This review is for service only. I have been coming here for over three years on a regular basis. I was so excited when they FINALLY upgraded this terribly dilapidated establishment. However, in the past year there as been almost a complete turnover of all of their weekend employees. Bottom line, new does not equal better. Service from the old crew was better than these newer, much younger servers. Today, I was standing in line to be recognized for seating because two employees were attempting to ring up a single customer. A family of 5 walked in behind me and they immediately acknowledged them and took their name down. Really?? Poor design in front makes it more difficult to tell whether someone is standing in line to pay or standing to be seated. Thank God Addy is still here. She seems to be the only constant, and a cheerful one at that. That being said, the food is still good. read more

My 7 year old step daughter and I went over for breakfast this past Sunday and it there was a 20 min wait so we decided to sit at the counter area. while waiting for our meal a waitress named Sheri picked from a customer's order before taking it out to them and ate from it. Upon returning she was still chewing the food and whipped her mouth with her fingers and got the next order without washing her hands made me wonder what else goes on. after a short while she said the F bomb while talking to the other waitresses. Another one of the girls let out the word A** all while the girls gossiped about who was getting more tables. Very unprofessional and not only that I had a 7 year old with me. was very disappointed all this was going on out in the open. read more

What a way to start the New Year. No one is listening, order de-caf and got reg, sugar free and got regular. I had to get up and get in line to pay my bill the server did not leave a check. Even I was wareing a orange shirt it was like I was invisable. read more

My wife and I ate at this restaurant yesterday at 5:00 pm. When the server refilled our water glass at the table the water smelled and tasted like a chemical cleaner and burned my mouth. Customers at the adjacent table also said that the water smelled and tasted bad. When I told the manager, she said that she smelled nothing and made it clear that she was not even going to investigate the source of the problem. When we left, a young man who overheard us talk to the manager stated that his friend, an employee there, had received similar complaints that morning and reported it to management. read more

Never thought I would write a review about a Denny's but after 3 months in the area this is one of the few places in all price ranges that has consistently good food and service. And, one of the few and only places where you can get a good banana split! And, the place is very clean! read more

My husband and I went for breakfast on our Anniversary and Angie was our server. At the beginning she came over and got our drink order. She walked away and asked the servers if anyone wanted table 9. She brought our drinks back and took our order. My husband had a dirty glass and dirty silverware. She never came back to our table until our food was ready. When she brought our food she brought a syrup bottle that had food debris and hair on the spout. When my husband asked for another drink and a different syrup bottle, she was pissed and walked away. When she brought my husband another drink she dropped it off and walked away. We had to ask a different server for syrup. Angie never came back to check on us. She ignored us the rest of the time and was walking around with her resting bitch face while checking on her other customers. When we went to pay, we noticed we were table 9 that she was trying to get rid of from the beginning. This is the second time we have had either bad food or bad service. This place absolutely needs to be torn down and rebuilt. I'm not sure how they keep passing inspections. Speaking from direct experience with this Denny's, its one of the worst places to eat, just stay home and cook your own food. BOH ABSOLUTELY REEKS and they're solution is to pour bleach down the drains!! Its more disgusting than you think. I don't know what's worse, constantly killing flies and finding dead flies all over the place or having to deal with the copious amounts of Ants that have been found in multiple booths that I've been in. The take no immediate professional action and wait until multiple customers complain and the only thing they do is spray a can of raid on the booths and wipe them down. I don't know whats worse, the flies (BOTH DEAD AND ALIVE) or the ants. Most customer complaints are just taken to the back and laughed at. The two women managers are some of the meanest women I have ever encountered. They show very little concern with complaints and act as if its interrupting whatever important job they have to do. Don't ask for the corporate number, because all you will get is another woman from a Tucson Denny's who is just as mean and vicious. This place does not care about customers or their staff.
