There are only 2 Dennys in the Omaha vicinity, and this site is also a major truck stop off the 80 east at Gretna. Unlike the West Omaha location, customers are in transition, while locals tend to patronize the other Denny's. The quality of food is good at both, but the service is better at this location. Parking is easier, and you have an adjoining gas convenience store connected to this Dennys. Coffee is premium here, and the pies are freshly baked. I still prefer a Grand Slam over newer varieties of dishes at any time of the day.

Sadly, this place is dirty. The staff are loud and chatty with one another. The food is meh. Country fried steak was only so-so. The club sandwich oddly dry with sparse mayo, a thin tomato sliver, and one small leaf of lettuce. The wavy fries are just bad and exceedingly dry. The stainless countertop is dirty. The stainless countertop in the kitchen is dirty, as can be viewed through the pass-through window. Dirty dishes are not removed when refills are brought, and they are allowed to languish for 10 minutes or more as staff convenes at the end of the counter, one of them eating. Please do not use the restaurant dining room as the employee lounge. Please do not let the Hispanic cooks talk and laugh so loudly as to be heard by customers. The sink by the coffee makers drips water loudly and continuously. The salad bar is uncovered. The place is near empty and we know why. Please fix this place. It doesn't properly represent the brand.

Amazing service for sure 10/10 but the food not so much. Food left me feeling a little whoozy.

Stopped at 8:45 on a Saturday during a thunderstorm and the place was closed. I assume it is to do with the labor shortages, but yikes.

Food is not good even for a truck stop. And the loud mouthed waitress needs to keep it down when customers are on their phones!

The selection skews towards IPAs but they generally have something for everyone. Each beer can come in different sizes depending how committed you are to trying a certain beer or just want a 5 ounce sampler. Food options here consist of some pretzel available to purchase but there is typically a food truck outside to help fill your stomach if you plan on staying awhile. The staff are not your typical bar staff but beer enthusiasts who are willing to wait on you hand and foot. The service is really top tier, the beers come out quick and they're always making their rounds to get your next drink.

The inside is very clean and simple - a nice, bright place to have a few drinks and chat with friends. The patio is great too when it's nice outside. All their brews are fabulous in my experience. My favorites are Great Plains Lager and the Cairns Pilsner (I am a fan of lighter beers if you couldn't tell). They have lots of different beer styles from Kölsches to Dunkels, and IPAs to Ales. So you'll definitely find something you like. They sell Kringles flavored pretzels for snacking on, or at least they did when I went last. Love those! Aside from that, they have food trucks that post up there as well, so definitely check their schedule to see who will be there when you want to go. For a local brewery, they have a pretty solid lineup of different brews, so I'd definitely check them out if you're in the Millard area!

The servers were attentive, fast, and knew the menu well enough to answer all our questions. Also important, this is a Coke Zero establishment. So I was already winning before the food even showed up. I went with the Husker Chicken Sandwich and sweet potato fries. I always ask for my fries well done, so yes, they looked extra crispy in the pic, and that was exactly what I wanted. They were perfect. The sandwich was huge, delicious, and something I will absolutely order again. Their honey mustard deserves its own shoutout. Top tier stuff. Now for the one downside. I know it's summer, but I absolutely froze in there. It felt like dining in a meat locker. I know not everyone is as cold-blooded as I am, and there are definitely worse things to complain about, but I was counting down the minutes until I could go thaw out in the car. Still, I'll be back. Just maybe in the fall. Or next time I'll bring a sweater. Or a blanket. Or both.

The burger was cooked a perfect medium rare and the truffle fries had a nice texture with a little sauce on top. The risotto was nice and creamy. The Argentinian steak was tender and not too heavy. The fish sandwich was gigantic. The Brussels sprouts were soft and crispy with no bitterness. There was not one dish that was not satisfactory. The only thing I wish they did was maybe do something extra special for my birthday... like maybe a birthday dessert or something! However, service was fine. The waiter had to ask 3 times what we wanted because he didn't write it down or anything but that's ok. Not a big deal.

One in our party ordered the seafood risotto and wasn't too happy with it. The patio looked inviting. Would be nice to sit outside for some apps. I'd give them another try for sure and order something else. The restaurant was very large and didn't seem over loud with all of the people there.
