First off the service was excellent, our waitress was professional and very informative, and worked hard to make sure that everything was brought out on time. I had an omelet and it was brought out hot, and was very good and tasty. The hash browns were not bad, but nothing to rave about, just tasted like ordinary hash browns that were probably previous frozen. My wife had biscuits and gravy with hash browns and said that the gravy was too salty for her taste, but other than that everything was good just not exceptional. This restaurant is not a franchise and it is feeling like you are coming home. My parents live in Carolina Village and I live in Florida but several of the wait staff have my phone number and give me updates about my parents and how they are doing since I can't visit them during COVID 19 lock down. i always get breakfast no matter the time of day cause I know it will be cooked how I ask for. The cook can see my parents park their car so many times their order is up and ready as they get to the table. They can tell you all about the area haunts and places to see and what to avoid. Was at Denny's this evening for dinner. The got seated and had a long wait before the waitress ever came over along with 5 other tables all waiting for the same waitress. She use to be a hostess and wanted to try out waitress. Well she need to go back and be a hostess. She is really slow confused and taking order was wrong service bad Was given my bill but never got my food. No refills no how is everything can I get you something nothing. My food was not cooked right and had to send it back to still be the same way. Apparently no manager on duty tonight cause I asked to see one and nothing. My daughter ordered a burger on a plain bun and got a bun with black seeds. She asked for mayo and I had to go find a waiter and ask him if he could get me some. If there were a 0 stars that is what I would rate tonight food and service. I am not happy and should not had to pay for something that I didn't eat and asked for a manager and nothing didn't even see one anywhere. Denny corporation you need to fix this . Wow this place is horrible. Long wait even though they are open tables. Food is disgusting. Hash browns were white and not even brown. One of the two pancakes I got was burnt. The cook put the burnt one on the bottom so I wouldn't see it. Well I defiantly tasted it and flipped it over to reveal the horrible burnt pancake. I've been coming here my whole life, today I went with a group of friends and there was a slight mix up two of my friends orders, both ordered different skillets and one added an egg and the egg was put on the wrong skillet, so without even talking to us about it our waitress Tomeka made a whole new skillet and took the first skillet off the ticket and we weren't charged for her skillets. I appreciate Tomeka so much she is the best waitress I've come in contact with here. five stars definitely recommend coming I will definitely keep coming. read more

We arrived at Denny's a little after 11:00am today. Went in and found we were the only ones waiting to be seated. There were three people at the cash register placing a takeout order. After a few minute wait the people at the cash register were still trying to decide what they wanted and a customer leaving was waiting to pay. A few minutes more and the cashier leaves to get someone to visit with the people ordering takeout and several more people were now standing in line to pay. After a few more minutes we concluded the they were not going to seat us so we left. There was never any acknowledgment that we were there nor was there any attempt to deal with the growing crowd at the register. We had a similar incident a year ago when they did seat us but no one ever came to our table to take our order. read more

Food took a long time to arrive especially given that there were very few tables to serve. Most importantly, however, was the waitress, who was a little aggressive in throwing the maple syrup and other accompaniments, at us, but her "under the nose mask" wearing throughout our service was unacceptable. I have never been to a Dennys and gotten.bad service, but to start Debra our waitress was soo rude. We were a party of 13 and made sure to inform us right away of the 15% gratuity. Yet when we order cream of broccoli she didn't bother to tell is they didn't have broccoli so we were not getting the soup, yet she wanted to charge for it. We wanted hot chocolate and apples and they didn't have that either. Today we went for breakfast around 10 am. Upon entering we noticed two other individuals ahead of us waiting to be seated and a line of 4 people waiting to pay their bill. There was only 1 employee at the cash register--greeter and checker it appeared. We stood in the seating line for at least 15 minutes waiting to be acknowledged while the paying customers were continually helped--which is somewhat understandable. Finally, by accident, we were told we were supposed to "put our name on the list". For those of us waiting, we had no idea and NEVER given the time of day to even get our names on some list. It was ridiculous!! This is certainly a very unprofessional method/process/procedure and whomever the manager is during the peak hours, definitely needs to ADDRESS this problem for ALL customers, whether paying or waiting to be seated. read more

The food was ok. My order was wrong. They gave me the wrong pancakes. I didn't eat them and sent them back. Wanted my bill adjusted to subtract the pancakes since I didn't eat them. They only took off $3. The pancakes were $5.99. I don't mind paying for what I get. But I don't feel I should pay for something I didn't get. The manager wasn't much help. read more

Let me start out by saying, I don't expect a 5 star experience from places like Dennys or Waffle house. I go to them because it is fast and greasy and yummy. That aside, I will not be back to this Denny's. On my last visit, my grapes were rotten....not just ripe. Rotten. I saw a cockroach on the wall beside my table, and there was a hair on my food. In hindsight I should have told my waitress, but I was on a date and didn't want to be high maintenance. Worst Denny's me and my wife have ever been to. The waiter scraped food and crumbs out of the seat with the menu as we were seated then the trainee that was with the waitress asked if she should wipe the seat and she said "no it's not sticky" then sent the wrong appetizer and got my drink order wrong. When we finally got our food the chicken strips were black as rubber and tasted worse. This is one of the worst restaurants I've ever been to. We were there for an hour and never got napkins, drink refills, the coffee was like it had been sitting all day...ugh, and we literally NEVER even got our check. We were waiting on syrup, napkins, refills...the usual stuff...and the waitress never came back. I, along with other customers in her section, tried to get her attention and were ignored. I finally told the manager what was happening and that we needed a to go box and our check. She never tried to make anything right, never offered us the refills, never even smiled. She brought the to go box and forgot the check. I guess the service comes from the top down. We left money on the table for our meal and left. We actually laughed because they have some "All You Can Eat" stuff on the menu and if they never come back to the table, they'll make a fortune on that! LOL HORRIBLE DENNY'S.
