Service and ambiance worked out despite a slightly long wait. What I got was worth it though. I started off with the Mixed Greens Salad with honey mustard dressing. The dressing was definitely the flavor I needed. The main course was the 9 oz Parmesan Crust Chicken (switched to BBQ chicken) and Half-Rack Baby Back Ribs Combo with seasoned fries. Even without the BBQ sauce on the side, the fries were to die for. They were nicely seasoned and had a slight crunch. The chicken was cooked through, and the ribs were incredibly saucy and moist. We thoroughly enjoyed our food and experience at this trusted favorite , and it reminded us why we keep coming back. I've never had an incorrectly cooked steak here , which says a lot about their consistency. We tried branching out to some of the more "trendy" spots in the area , and it was disappointing for more than one reason. Not here. From the moment we walked in , we were welcomed, treated well, and fed even better without any hassle. Sometimes you really do have to stick with what you know . The New York strip cooked medium rare will always be my go to order. We also loved seeing a bit of holiday spirit still lingering into January , which added a nice touch. The food was great, absolutely no issues at all with the food here, delicious! HOWEVER, the service we received was terrible! our server, his name was Ike or Mike, he greeted us by having a few jokes and asking what we wanted to drink. My sister asked if they had fountain root beer which he answered that they did not but they had bottled root beer from a local company and she said no thank you, he then said why don't you like bottled root beer it's local, and she said oh i drink very fast so i don't want to buy 3-4 bottles of soda while im here i'd prefer a fountain drink i can have refilled as many times as i want, this interaction sounded innocent enough but he made this a reoccurring theme of questioning us about why we made certain food choices and not the uncharged one he wanted us to make. He questioned about why we wanted our food cooked certain ways and not the way he recommended, we asked for lemons with our drinks as soon as we got there, we had to ask a fourth time and he said "oh yall want lemons okay i'll go get them" like we had never asked for lemons at all, and then when he brought them he said "okay 2nd round of lemons, we have lemons on the brain" but we never received lemons before this. At the end of our dinner my sister was still moving items she wanted to take home off of her plate and he was clearing the table and took the plate right from her while she was still using her utensils on the plate! he brought our tickets and we sat there for 10 minutes holding up the ticket book while he stood 2 feet away from us right beside us rearranging chairs with a coworker and it was now 9:55pm we had been here an hour and 45 minutes they close at 10pm and we wanted to go home so my husband asked hey do we pay you or do we take it to the hostess, and the waiter said yall pay me, give me a minute. keep in mind we were watching him the entire time he was right in front of us just talking with a coworker about how the chairs looked better this way on a certain table and laughing, not doing anything super pressing or important. Service was very bad, this is the first yelp review i have ever bc i don't usually care to review my opinions on places but this service was the worst ive had in a long time. The only reason I don't give 5 stars is slow service... But like a lot of other restaurants thay are probably short staffed. Hubby and I like their french onion soup and wings so we've been there several timea lately. We did have a meal once and something about their cesar salad dressing was off so I sent it back and changed sides. i had pork chops and they were on the dry tough side. I love Longhorn. The food is always consistently good. Always cooked well, just how you order it. Our server was Stephanie today in Fletcher, North Carolina, and she was amazing. We had chop steak with onions and mushrooms and mashed potatoes as well as salmon, baked potato, broccoli and rice. It was a delicious carb explosion. They're very friendly here, we didn't even have to wait and it was close to 6 PM on a Saturday. This seems like a newer restaurant, so it was super clean and nice. Back in August 2025 my husband and I got with the extended family for dinner at Longhorn. My husband had ordered a full rack of ribs. Most everything was going good until his order came. He bit into the ribs and they were cold inside. There were other issues also but nothing that compared to the cold ribs. When he got them back they were actually done. I paid with my credit card and left a good tip even though we had to send the ribs back. The next morning while I was sleeping someone ran my credit card to see if they could charge on it. Never had any complaints about this restaurant before, but one Sunday we ordered to go. And got hair is our shrimp order! A+ on food. Steaks well cooked and seasoned. Fire roasted corn on the cob was amazing. A+ on service. F on ambiance and atmosphere. Two young children were running around the dining area, talking loudly, occasionally screaming, and distracting the service staff throughout our lunch. Another customer told us it was the cook's children, and they have been there since the restaurant opened. This kind of behavior is expected in a McDonald's perhaps, but not in a Steakhouse. The manager should use better judgement next time. As for the employee, if you are old enough to parent two kids, you are old enough to find a babysitter. read more

My food was not fussed over and kind of sloppy on arrival to the table. Not what I expected from Longhorns. I was treating a friend for his birthday.his wife's ribs looked better than our rib eyes. The food was good, but the restaurant needs a deep cleaning and a handyman. The front door slams shut brutally because the overhead pneumatic soft close device is broken. The booth partition was full of food splatters, and the table-top pepper mill had some sticky stuff on it. Yuck! I come here when I travel and I always sit at the bar area or near it. Rob is fantastic but the rest of the crew is too. I can't post photos because they know what I order,(I only come here once every 2 months), the Flos steak MR, mashed, broccoli, a shot of Rosa Blanco, and a Bold Rock Cider. EVERY SINGLE TIME, it has been amazing. Anytime I'm in the Asheville area, I WILL come here. The last 2 years, I've never had an issue. Hats off to this team and restaurant. I love it. The second time, I got a grilled chicken salad. It came with raspberry vinaigrette. Very overdressed and super sweet. Also, they had switched over to some new computer system so it took more than three attempts to sort our meals into three separate checks. Finally I just paid for whatever was on mine just so we could get out of there. Even the manager couldn't figure it out. Can't recommend this place. read more

Extremely disappointed with the service at this Longhorn. I understand they are a new restaurant, but we had a horrible experience the entire time we were here. First of all we were a party of 6 and were quoted a wait time of 30-45 mins. We didn't get sat until nearly two hours after we arrived. Multiple large parties that arrived after us got a seated before us. When we asked the hostesses why this was they explained to us that it was because it was their 25th wedding anniversary and they called ahead. The male hostess said when we asked"well is it your 25th wedding anniversary?" I thought this was really rude and uncalled for. He then told us they didn't take call ahead seating but they still sat them before even though we were here celebrating my father in laws birthday. After we finally got sat after almost two hours of waiting we had to wait another 5 minutes to be greeted by our server and then it wasn't even our server than came and got our drinks. After finally getting our drinks we are ready to order and our server is clearly unprepared and uneducated about the menu items. We didn't wait too long for our food and every was good except for the wings I was sharIng with my partner being cold. We also had another server come over and offer to get us refills after seeing our empty cups. Overall extremely disappointed with this experience. I usually love longhorn and haven't ever had an experience like this at one of their restaurants. The manager did take off some appetizers off of our bill and personally apologized to us but overall not how a birthday dinner should've been spent. read more

I always enjoyed this Longhorns. Unfortunately, my daughter became violently sick after eating the potato soup. This happened 9-12 hours after eating there. Was sick on her flight back to Florida. Hosts refused to seat single people and instead skipped ahead for larger parties. When spoke to manager they said it didn't happen but I watched people walk in and ask to be seated, told it would be 20 mins. It wasn't greasy like other places onions they offer. The old fashioned that I got wasn't a very balanced drink. It was way too strong. The bread was soft and warm. Ceasar salad was cold and crispy. The steaks were really good. The only exception was the part where they were cooked to the wrong temperatures. I think they got them confused. The parmesan crust was excellent! The atmosphere was nice and fit the mood. Our server, Chloe was awesome!! She was very polite and happy. Even at the end of her shift she painted on a smile.
