Just a classic American diner with a menu full of comfort foods. Service was quick and easy. I ate the club sandwich on sourdough and it was made perfectly. I can tell the soup was freshly made and not from a can - reminds me of the vegetable soup I grew up on at my grandparents house. I saw a woman at the counter order a root beer float and it looked awesome (I'll order it next time).

Like a warm hug, our meal at Mike's on Main Street was culinary comfort. We ordered a grilled cheese and a patty melt, which were melt-in-your-mouth perfect. Though these are claimed to be "easy" dishes, it's not easy to make them as expertly as we experienced. We lauded the crunch of the crusty, buttery bread and the chunky slices of celery and carrot filling the Ham & Bean soup. We sat outside where the ambiance was quiet in the early afternoon. The inside was bustling. The service was attentive and quick, regardless of the many patrons, of which I encourage you to be the next

Well, it was a Denver omelet, but I mixed it all together!

Hot, fresh Stuffed with goodies! My omelet was great. Housed in a historic pharmacy, with some original features. Service and food...excellent.

Good grilled tuna and turkey melt..fresh fries. This is like old fashioned ice cream shop so menu has food that is of a grill type. The staff was all extremely freibdly...I felt so bad when I realized I did not leave more of a tip..gave only singles and thought one was a five. I will definitely return and make up for it since waiter was so pleasant. The decor is like a museum filled with so many antiques. It was a very nice place to have a quick light lunch.

A step back in time. The atmosphere was nostalgic reminding you of a time long ago, from the jukebox to the old fashioned bar stools. The food was top-notch. I had a burger with their homemade pimento cheese and bacon and it was outstanding. Others in our party had the Reuben sandwich, chicken salad sandwich (They said it was the best chicken salad they've ever had), and the kids had the chicken tenders. I don't remember our server's name but she was friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. This little diner in Hendersonville is a must if you're in the area.

Decent sandwiches but very overpriced. Try Hannah's a pub across the street. Much better value

The atmosphere is cozy, low-lit, and perfect for date night, a celebration, or honestly just when you want a really good meal with phenomenal service. It's not huge, and judging by how packed it was when we arrived, I'd definitely recommend reservations. We had one of the later seating times near closing, but the place was still buzzing. There's even a second room with a gorgeous long bar that gives off upscale neighborhood hangout vibes. Service was flawless from the start. We were seated immediately and had water in our glasses within minutes. Our waitress was friendly, attentive, and somehow had us in and out in about 40 minutes without ever making us feel rushed. That's an art form. Drink-wise, my boyfriend was happy to find some local beers after our brewery-hopping adventure earlier in the day. I ordered a cocktail that sounded good and asked if they could make it spicy... maybe throw in some jalapeños or something. They didn't just accommodate, they elevated. They swapped in a spicy-infused spirit, and it paired perfectly with my wood-fired roasted corn pizza topped with cilantro and jalapeño crema. Absolute flavor bomb that paired perfectly! My boyfriend's meatloaf with mushrooms and mashed potatoes was equally impressive. No notes, just clean plates. We started with the ceviche, and it was outstanding. Fresh, bright, and so flavorful that we started dipping our homemade pita into it. Speaking of the pita, that was honestly my only minor miss (and it wasn't even a miss lol). As a carb enthusiast, I wanted a little more salt and flavor, but that's nitpicking in what was otherwise an exceptional meal. Hearth & Herron is the kind of place every small town wishes it had. Thoughtful food, top-notch service, and an atmosphere that punches way above its weight class. We'll absolutely be back the next time we're in Hendersonville and recommend you do the same!

Once again, it was a wonderful experience. Our waitress was friendly, attentive, professional, and genuinely pleasant throughout the evening. We took advantage of the corkage option and brought along our own bottle of wine. We even offered her a taste, which she enjoyed, and that little interaction added a nice personal touch to the evening. I started with the wedge salad, which was excellent, and the bleu cheese dressing was absolutely superb. My wife had the Greek salad, and it was equally delicious. For our entrées, I had the steak and my wife chose the shrimp and grits. Both were outstanding--perfectly prepared, flavorful, and honestly over-the-top good. My only disappointment was discovering that the Shrimp Scampi has been removed from the menu. It was always one of my favorite dishes, and I certainly hope they consider bringing it back! Overall, it was exactly the kind of dinner we were hoping for to celebrate my wife's birthday. Great food, excellent service, and a very enjoyable evening. We'll definitely be back.

The food was amazing. The staff, Naomi, was very attentive and got our orders as we wanted. The ambience was cool, a bit on the loud side. Our water and drinks were empty multiple times. Unfortunately, the food was underwhelming and extremely overpriced, especially for Hendersonville. I ordered the banh mi and wouldn't recommend it. The small sandwich was overwhelmed with mayo and lacked the traditional Vietnamese flavors I was expecting. To make matters worse, it was $18 and didn't even come with a side which felt unreasonable. For that price, I would much rather dine at Postero across the street. The restaurant asked if we were celebrating anything, and we mentioned a major accomplishment for our friend. While the waitress acknowledged it several times which was kind it was disappointing to learn that there was no complimentary dessert or gesture. At that point, repeatedly bringing it up felt unnecessary. Given the high reviews, I expected a much better experience. Unfortunately, I don't see myself returning.
