kiersten was our server and she was AMAZING! my mother and i were driving from cincinnati to columbus and were starved and she sat us immediately, was extremely accommodating about our dietary restrictions, and is insanely funny! she juggled hosting, serving, and cashing out with speed and with such a good attitude. kiersten was clearly very educated on the menu giving me immediate alternatives that fit my needs and i find that very impressive! i've worked at restaurants in the past and i seriously struggle knowing menu alternatives. i would totally recommend coming here! the environment is super chill and feels like somewhere you'd go with your friends late at night. despite how busy the restaurant was, kiersten still checked on us regularly and made us feel truly taken care of. give this girl a raise, she's earned it! read more

I love the Denny's Slam breakfasts and their 55+ selections. This particular Denny's location was in Ohio and in a gas station/truck stop plaza. The ambiance was nice, clean though they had some construction going on, near one end of the restaurant. We sat by the entrance and our server was Ryle. The young lady was friendly and very helpful, stopping by multiple times to see if we needed anything. Even the manager stopped by our table. Of course, we ordered from the breakfast selections. The food was great. We definitely enjoyed our experience at this Denny's location. read more

This place needs help. order meatballs and spaghetti, wait 20 mins from them bring noodles and meat balls no sauce then proceed to say we are out of sauce anted try meat ball and its crispy on out side but ice cold and still forzen on inside. replaced it with a omelette that was made wrong forgot cheese and forgot my toast asked for toasted and they never brung it, ran out of drink 20mins in and no refill came. proceed to say hey on house then charge me 22$ at end. if I knew was going charge I would have walked out after meatballs was still half frozen. never again 0 stars if I could. waitress trash food trash flies everywhere. read more

On April 24th, My wife and I stopped there at 4:30 PM for dinner. For a restaurant that is supposed to be open 24 hours, there was sign at the entrance stating they were closed until 3 PM. There were only two other couples seated and they already had their meals. We were waited on within a few minutes. Our drinks came before we had silverware, napkins or straws. We ordered our meals which took about 30 and 45 minutes to receive. My wife ordered a half order of Zesty Nachos and I ordered the Country Fried Steak Dinner with Sweet Corn, Garlic Mashed Potatoes and Dinner Bread. The Nachos came out first. They looked nothing like the photo in the menu. They were very greasy and soggy. After another 15 minutes, the CFS came out. The steak and corn were OK, nothing to brag about. The mashed potatoes were very soupy, but tasted ok. The dinner bread was toasted garlic bread, it would have been good with spaghetti. When I went to pay, the kids working the place didn't know how to give an AARP discount (15%), instead they gave me a military discount (7%). We were there over an hour and a half and in that time only 4 more people came in after we were seated. The music was playing fairly loud but the worse thing was it kept breaking up. Very annoying. The bottom line is: stop for gas or recharge, restroom and snacks from Flying 'J' then go on down the highway. Don't waste your time and money. I should have read the reviews on this place before going in. It appears nothing has changed in the last year. read more

I first want to say I am a truck driver of 40 years and have had meals at Denny's all over the country. This was my first time at this location and I do not know if I will go back. I ordered value slam, eggs over medium, two pancakes and said please do not scorch them, all bacon. When it came out the eggs were cooked so hard there was a brown crust I used to pick up the eggs together holding them on edge over the plate, saying this is not over medium. the two large pancakes, one was scorched the other perfect. The very young waitress said she would get two more eggs and I said do not worry about the one pancake. The eggs came out and I could not believe one was exactly the same and the other semi hard. She said she would get more but I said it is not going to change. Then I told the waitress, a good waitress would refuse this and not give it to the customer. I feel Dennys should charge two dollars more and find good people to cook and pay them a good wage. If you cannot cook eggs to order I do not want to try anything else read more

There aren't any uniforms, the hostess is wearing jeans, crocs and an oversized champion t-shirt. Couldn't tell if she was a customer or an employee. I can audibly/clearly hear the servers complaining to each other about the customers, cussing ridiculously loud and it may sound dumb to some but I never received a refill of my Mello Yello nor were we asked how everything is after being given our order. The bacon both looked and smelled like "beggin' strips" dog treats and my sausage was tough, burnt and tasted very old. We have been here a little over an hour and there has been maybe 2 handfuls of customers altogether between who was already here and how many arrived. read more

This was the most miserable excuse for a restaurant I've ever experienced. Absolutely gross. The place had maybe three tables in total on a Saturday at 3PM. We were sat without silverware or napkins. We waited to order. Our kids order orange juices for which they bring out the most disgusting orange flavored water and apologize that the machine is broken/replaced/something. We send them back and later demanded that, at $1.50 each, they be removed from the bill. The server then forgets to bring us the coffee we ordered. They then inform us there's no fruit. The food then takes almost 45 minutes to arrive (and the place is empty). All the food was overly cooked, burnt, and super crispy all the way around. I ordered a veggie omelet that tasted like it was cooked in hamburger grease. The server forgot both of our kids pancakes. She forgot the toast on my dish. We had to ask for silverware and napkins. I don't even know where to start. I honestly don't understand how this location remains open. The service is atrocious, the store is filthy, the employees are rude, impolite, and don't seem very competent. The food quality is terrible and most likely to give you food poisoning. I did get sick immediately after eating. No one in my group ate more than half, and we complained and only got a one-word "WELL!!" from the server, but I still had to pay the full price of $78 for three people. I did not leave a tip, and honestly, I will NEVER eat at Denny's again !!! And after looking, it seems this is their true standard, from an average of 2-star ratings on many platforms and a stock price that is one of the lowest in the industry at only $6.16 as of 202pm on 11/12/2025, compared to their competitors' IHOP stock at 25.29. The low stock price indicates low interest in the brand. but it doesn't matter. This is a restaurant at a truck stop in what feels like the middle of nowhere so of course they are short staffed and took about 20 minutes to serve us. I'm not sure why the other reviews seem surprised by this when it seemed obvious before we walked it and extremely obvious inside. They only had two waitresses as far as we could tell and maybe they were the only employees at all. We were in no rush so the wait did not bother us. He had a build your own grand slam while I had a veggie omelet. Sadly my omelet was really greasy so not the best, but it was still pretty good. Next time I'll probably have the cinnamon roll pancakes as if I'm going to see vaguely off I'd rather from sugar than grease. We did not get sicj and tge food was good overall. The decor was nice and casual with license plates as well as racing lights under the counter. Better than most truck stop places. read more

After waiting 30 additional minutes we Get our food my Santa Fe skillet wasn't hot, there was chorizo even though I asked for it to be w/o and substitute regular sausage. My husband's fries were burnt, he asked for white cheddar cheese and got American cheese. Our waitress never provided any level of communication regarding our order even after noticing us looking for it. And another waitress who was sweet and brought our food out speaking to a different waitress said the skillet was sitting in the window with NO ticket but again 4 tables in occupancy and only ONE table with no food. Where else was it suppose to go. Do not recommend dining at this establishment. By far the worse experience. We just left. I didn't actually eat anything here of my own - I just got a drink - but I did get to sample some of my traveling companions full moons over my hammy. Absolutely terrible experience 630pm and there was one server that said they had not unloaded the truck for the day so about %95 of the dinner menu was not available. Ordered off of the breakfast menu it took an extremely long time and came out cold and tasted horrible. The server seemed to be doing what they could being alone but they should not have been alone if the food delivery truck could not even be unloaded in order to serve customers and it was a busy time of the day. We ordered 2 chicken sandwiches and over 45 minutes later she came out with 1 of the sandwiches and when I asked when the other would be ready she had no idea.
