They were super busy! Luckily, a worker got to me, let her know and another worker brought it over with good day wishes! GREATNESS!! No wait! Safe & clean inside with lots of seating and other customers enjoying! I sent to the add on station, got done fresh jalapeños and left. Lunchtime! We happened to be in the area today with a failed trip to Lithia Ford for a car repair. We both were hungry and needed to choose between breakfast or Mexican food, we flipped a coin and the coin chose breakfast. I'm glad it did, cause right when we were heading towards another breakfast spot, we made the quick decision to just choose what was nearby. It's a restaurant name we've heard of, but haven't been, so we opted to give it a try. I'm so glad we did! Because the food was amazing and the service just as much! Parking lot was full but not too crazy, that luckily came after we were seated. Inside was nicely themed to Louisiana Bayou with gators and cute signs with quotes and a big tree in the seating area with sound effects of bugs from the swamp. As soon as we walked in we were welcomed with a nice greeting from one of the busy waitresses who let us know we would be seated in a moment. Our server Jessica came up with a smile and a warm welcome and had us follow her to our booth. We both started off with coffee and browsed the menu, this menu had some usual fair but definitely stayed in the theme of the restaurant with Louisiana cuisine, like andouille sausage as a breakfast meat choice. I went with their "Hucks Platter" which is 3 eggs anyway you want, choice of potatoes or hashbrowns and you can choose between a couple varieties of meats, steak, chicken fried steak, sausage, bacon and andouille. It also comes with a choice of side, being toast, homemade biscuit or their huckleberry bread? I played it safe and went with the white toast. I also went with the bacon cause I love me some bacon! It was hickory smoked and my goodness it was cooked to perfection! My whole meal was cooked perfectly! I truly appreciate the cooking staff for doing such an amazing job during a busy morning. Jess chose the Banana Foster French Toast and my goodness! It looked just as good if not better than the picture. It was loaded, thick and comes with a side of eggs and your choice of meat. She loved the French toast, she's never had Bananas Foster before but she said it was decadent, sweet and had a nice caramelized flavor. Would recommend and also get it again! We paid, "with tip" around $57, which isn't bad for most breakfast spots now a days. Especially when you're getting this kind of food quality and service. We never went without a fresh hot cup of coffee and a nice check in from Jess or one of the other servers to pick up a plate or ask us how we're doing. I do apologize for no pictures, when the food came out, it looked so good we just dug right in! We both would absolutely come back and eat here again if we're in the area or back in Fresno looking for a breakfast spot. My favorite part was the fries. The Mac and cheese is more cheese sauce , not sure if it had actual cheese. It was good but I not what I was expecting . This would be way better which actual cheese. The sliders are really good. Although I prefer the flavor of Dave's, Angry Chickz chicken tastes cleaner, and the slider is larger and has a good amount of veggies. Dave's sauce is better tasting, but Angry Chickz chicken itself wins. Mild had a little more kick than I'd like, but I'm not mad at it. Overall great value for your money!

It took a good hour to get our actual food. We seen people come in after us and leave way before us, and their parties were larger. I asked for a refill on my ice tea 5x and they should have also filled my water, but instead took it away. Our waitress Hannah was told that my cocktail fork for the crab was given to me dirty with food stuck on it, she took it away and never replaced it. We also asked for a metal cracker, but were told they didn't have any and I was only given a PLASTIC utensil to crack open my crab. I ended up using the end of a steak knife to help me. My husband had endless shrimp. And for his final order, Hannah said she wouldn't put the order in until he finished what he was currently eating. He was simply trying to get ahead of the game since she was completely scatterbrained. Asked for the check twice before actually getting it, and with extreme reluctance I still tipped her, generously. Needless to say, we will NEVER return. This was horrible service and the food gave us a stomach ache. I'm not sure where the problem lies, but it's fair to say that management is responsible for this poorly run restaurant. I wouldn't be shocked if this place closed in the near future, it's completely disintegrated into seated fast food service, and that's being nice. This place used to be a staple in our family and we had many good gatherings here. Unfortunately, it's much better to spend our time and money elsewhere.
