The menu is on the smaller side, but it has just the right amount of variety, so it didn't feel overwhelming. It was Friday evening and the game was on and what better place to watch the game then at Eureka burger. I haven't been to this location in a long time and things have changed! The bar was busy and was not very attentive to me and my friend. We were able to do a whiskey flight which we enjoyed and ordered a couple of appetizers including the Korean BBQ which was really great. They use ribeye meat and it is very tender and flavorful which is a top of fried potatoes with pickled onions and Fresno chilies. For appetizer we also added the brussel sprouts without bacon and they were also a delightful touch. My entree consisted of the double Smashburger without cheese. I really like the flavor because it came with a garlic Dijonnaise which was not overpowering my only biggest concern is the servers were not attentive to me and my friend when they were attentive to everyone else and failed to clear our table without us asking multiple times. The food was good but maybe next time I'll try at a table and not the bar. read more

Stopped by Eureka Burger Sunday night after watching the playoff game for one cocktail which quickly turned into too many. They have an amazing whiskey selection at the bar and the drinks are definitely delicious but also a bit overpriced. Just a heads up your tab can go from $17 to almost $80 real fast if you are not paying attention. The ambience is warm and inviting and the bathrooms were super clean which is always a win. The overall vibes of the restaurant remind me of a little bit like Yard House but with better food. The service is usually pretty quick and the waiters and waitresses are very attentive! Sometimes it gets a bit busy but even then, it's never been anything too bad. The food is delicious! Anytime I want a great burger, I always come here. Their sweet potato fries with the dijonaise is delicious! The only two things that I didn't like was the strawberry limeade and the onion rings. The strawberry limeade tasted a bit watered down. It didn't really taste like any strawberries or even limeade at that. And the onion rings weren't as crispy as I prefer them. There is a lot that I liked about my dining experience last night for my daughter's 16th birthday. Unfortunately, the food wasn't one of them. The lettuce wraps were ok - just nothing compared to the ones you can get from PF Changs or YardHouse. For dinner, I ordered the rib eye cheesesteak sandwich and again - just Ok. I suppose the biggest problem for me is that it was served to me lukewarm. The cheese already started turning into goo , and the sandwich tasted as it had been left out on the counter for about 30 minutes. My wife ordered the steak salad with herb dressing . Again- the feedback I received was that it was just OK. For me, this location is a solid 3 stars. I can see myself returning to have a beer and some Mac n cheese balls. Instead of just smiling and walking off, she literally took the time to walk me through their bourbon/whiskey of the month setup and talk about different bottles. My only comparison to what I expect is the Clovis location. So here goes... placed orders for both drinks and food. Took along time for the drinks and when they arrived you can tell it was sitting. Next up was the burger to split. Ordered medium rare. Came out closer to well. The second plate that was under the serving plate was filthy. I'm talking never hit the dishwasher filthy. Our server was completely shocked. Nachos took a real long time. Came out looking like it was microwaved. Server came back and said cook says that's the way it comes out... come on! When they finally came out, they were great and hot. While it took a long time for the server to return, she apologized for all the mishaps and they comped the whole check (hence the third star). Wow my last review was 14 years ago! I've returned to Eureka! more since then my last review. Each time, positive experiences. My last visit was a celebratory dinner with the bf. We walked in and were seated right away for a Friday evening. It's cozy, dimly lit, intimate yet casual. Our server was amazing. She made some great recommendations for drinks and provided great service. Our food and drinks came out timely. We loved the appetizers: Brussel sprouts and mac n cheese balls. We cleaned up the plates. Our burgers were delicious. The only con was my beet burger felt like it was overly fried. Pieces of it was falling apart and tasted like it had been deep fried like pankora. It was super crispy and crunchy, not how I'd imagine a burger patty or like I've had at other Eureka! locations. Great food and Excellent service are not always an easy find. Today the wife and I stumbled upon Eureka on a yelp search while in Fresno. We were greeted, seated, and waited on by an impressive young lady named Alex. Alex was very nice, accommodating but most importantly "Well Versed" on their menu. Which included a wide selection of starters, entrees, and drink menu. To start with we ordered the chicken wings, lettuce wraps and a rib eye Philly cheesesteak sandwich that was beyond flavorful. I would say I am a regular at this location; I come at least a few times a month and each time the service is inconsistent. Sometimes it's great, above and beyond - and sometimes you can tell they do not want to be there and do not want to even take your order/help. The ambiance has always been great, of course no complaints here. Just often more recently the service hasn't been there and almost walked out a few times so a bit disappointing in addition to the last few times I finally got my food it was cold, so that's an additional disappointment. Came here today with my dog. My server seemed like he didn't want to be there and didn't come to my table much. I had to wait to pay to leave. They don't maintain the patio area very well. It was nice that they brought a dog bowl and treat to my dog. I bought her a burger patty and they charged 8 dollars which seems quite high for just a patty. I will post a picture. I got nachos and they were like 24 dollars. They were supposed to have refried beans but there wasn't anything but like a smear on a couple chips. Another plate I enjoyed was their Fish N Chips, (fries are great but I think we all know the Sweet potato fries are delicious!!!) I went with my family to the Herndon & Clovis location and this was my first time eating here. It was a very chill vibe and very eclectic atmosphere which I loved. I had the single burger. I think it's called the American and it was delicious. My family also ordered the Mac-n-cheese balls and buffalo chicken wings that we all shared. Both items were absolutely delicious and I especially loved the wings. They were good and hefty size which was also very good. They were like the best buffalo wings I've had in a long time. In addition to that the ranch dressing that the wings and cheese balls came with was amazing too. Last but not least, we were given excellent service from all staff members. Overall I rate Eureka 9/10 only because there's always room for improvement but I have no complaints whatsoever. My husband and I went on a recent weekend afternoon for drinks and apps and enjoyed the experience a lot. Service was very friendly and prompt and the space was lovely and cozy without being crowded. We got the cauliflower app and the Brussels sprouts app and enjoyed both. I don't know if it was just me, but I'd had the Brussels sprouts in the past and hadn't found them bitter at all: on this day, my husband and I found them both fairly bitter and didn't finish them, but two full apps was more than we were hungry for, so we ate all the cauliflower and some of the Brussels sprouts (which were still enjoyable; just not quite as good as we remembered from past occasions) and were just fine. My husband enjoys whiskey and liked his selection of the Corsair triple smoke single malt whiskey. Whiskey isn't really my thing but I took a sip and can confirm: very smoky! As expected. My Bloody Mary was delicious; just the thing for a weekend afternoon. We're always happy when we visit this location. The staff are always nice and helpful and we enjoy what we get. My friend treated me to my birthday dinner at Eureka Fresno last night. Unfortunately, this was very a disappointing experience. My friend made a reservation which was unnecessary since it was fairly empty. We were seated at a nice table and our server came by promptly after to take our drink order. We each ordered the Spa margarita and they were perfectly delicious. We each ordered a cheeseburger: my friend ordered hers well done, and mine was supposed to be medium rare. The food arrived, and both orders of fries were cold. Her burger was served medium well and after noting it was the wrong temperature, then it was sent back for more time on the grill. It was returned cooked as ordered with a new batch of hot fries. My burger was cold and I sent it back. It was returned just as cold as before but with a hot new bun, like I wouldn't notice that it was still cold. I would have sent it back again but was afraid of what might be done to it. I wish we had left instead of having to pay for food that was way below quality. It was a waste of money. Our server was very nice - it was not her fault. This is such a bummer because I like (or used to) this place, especially their Happy Hour. If this place is suggested as a place to go for dinner with friends, I will adamantly refuse and will find somewhere else to go. Not coming back here. read more

Oddly their drinks came right away and us early arrives were crinkles. How long can it take to pour 2 beers and make one cocktail? It took about 30 minutes to get the drinks and our server Rafael was very apologetic, later comping us 2 desserts to make up for the delay. I had the Ahi poke stack, layered with black rice, guacamole and ahi, served with crispy wontons, a nice light meal. Hubby had the veggie burger, friends had a bison burger, pastrami quesadilla. Cheeses, creamy with a little kick of spice. Always seasoned well. Then I ordered the grilled chicken nachos. This was my first time and LAST time eating these. They were just terrible. The chicken tasted unseasoned. There was no flavor on the chicken whatsoever and all I got was overwhelming sweet flavor from what I gathered was BBQ sauce. It was supposed to be chipotle sauce but if that was chipotle sauce, it sure tastes sweet like BBQ and it was just awful! The only thing that had any spice flavor was the jalopenos. Then I ordered the bourbon barrel cake. This eas just as delicious as I remember a few years ago. Another must-try. We were sat in the bar area in a booth and it was hot!!
