Went with our family last Sunday 8/30 to celebrate my nieces birthday! She loves Dennys! Our female server was excellent & prompt! We got seated right away in a booth in the middle. The service a food were both very good and cane out in a timely manner. I do have to say that their prices have gone up a there a little expensive but that's everywhere these day. I had bacon eggs, hash browns and French toast and my cousin had bacon and eggs and sausage with hash browns. Coffee and orange juice. Like I said, the food was good. I'm extremely disappointed with the service at this Denny's. Unfortunately, this also isn't my first bad experience here. I stopped coming for a long time because of previous experiences with the service, but I decided to give this location another chance. When I arrived, nobody even greeted me or said hello. What made the experience especially uncomfortable was watching other customers receive completely different treatment. Servers repeatedly checked on other tables, asked what they needed, and were friendly and attentive. Meanwhile, nobody came to my table , only when she dropped of the food. Lizabeth was taking care of my table, and I found her service very rude and unwelcoming. My food was brought to me along with my receipt, and after that I basically felt like they wanted me to eat, pay, and leave. Nobody came back to check whether my food was okay, whether I needed anything else, or whether I needed a refill. I wasn't even offered a bag when I needed one. The behavior around me also made the experience uncomfortable. Servers were throwing silverware around and behaving in a way that came across as unnecessarily rude and hostile. A manager who appeared to be the general manager and was wearing a baby-blue dress shirt also repeatedly looked at me in a way that felt confrontational and unfriendly. At one point I was even asked whether I was "with somebody" when there obviously wasn't anyone sitting next to me. Given the overall way I was already being treated, the interaction came across to me as passive-aggressive rather than a genuine question. The strangest part is that I genuinely don't know what I have ever done to these employees. I'm polite when I come in, I treat people respectfully, and I'm simply there to eat. Yet this is not the first time I've felt unwelcome at this location. I repeatedly see the same employees being friendly and attentive toward other customers while giving me attitude or barely acknowledging me. Even when I was leaving, the interaction was uncomfortable. Instead of clearly asking how everything was like I normally experience at restaurants, the employee was mumbling, saying things like "sure," and again came across as passive aggressive. I think this type of customer service is disgusting and rude. Nobody should walk into a restaurant, watch everyone around them receive friendly and attentive service, and wonder why they're being treated differently. Based on my repeated experiences here, I would especially not recommend this location to a young man dining alone. In my experience, I was treated very differently from the families and groups around me. Maybe other people will have a different experience, but this has happened enough times to me that I no longer consider it an isolated bad visit. There are plenty of other Denny's locations where you can simply eat without feeling like the staff is in some kind of mood with you. I would recommend going somewhere else. While eating here on 8/1/25, a couple came into the dining room with a dog stroller with two small dogs in it. I let my waitress know that this was against the law and they could be fined by the health district for allowing this. I saw her talk to a manager and he waived her off. Managers don't get to supercede the law just because they like dogs. This is a health code violation. "Nev. Admin. Code § 446.625 - Animals on premises prohibited; exceptions ... 6. Therapy and comfort animals are not allowed in food establishments." SOUTHERN NEVADA HEALTH DISTRICT 2023 FOOD REGULATIONS 6-501.14 Prohibiting Animals (A) Except as specified in ¶¶ (B) and (C) of this section, live animals must not be allowed on the premises of a food establishment. .. (5) Dogs in outdoor dining areas, which are accessible without passing through the food establishment, and the patrons and staff operate in accordance with a signed Dogs in Outdoor Dining Areas Agreement (Appendix C)... To even have non-service animal dogs allowed on restaurant premises in Southern Nevada, the restaurant must apply for a dog patio waiver. This restaurant doesn't even have a patio for dining. Part of the legal waiver application from Southern Nevada Health District reads: "By initialing each box below, I attest that I understand and agree to the following permit conditions for a waiver of regulation 6-501.21 "Prohibiting Animals", which prohibits animals, other than service animals and security/police dogs, from the premises of a Food Establishment. The request for a waiver only applies to dogs (Canis familiaris). No other animals are allowed on the patio area, except for service animals and security/police dogs. Very rude, terrible customer service. I order with my family and they brought out my food and my sons while my daughters was not ready. I asked if our food could be brought out together as I'm not going to eat while my daughter doesn't have food and while speaking with the server she walked away and mumbled somethings she then told the manager who turned looked at me and just turned back around and didn't do anything. I did curbside pick up today, my order was due at 1:05 I had been parked in P1 which is right in front of the store since 12:50. However, who we could assume was the manager, Penny, was hard to watch. No one said "we will be right with you". So when someone does decide to see us she comes over & asked how many? Duh. We're the only ones here. The Food: If you've ever read any of my reviews you know i give my honest opinion of the place, food etc. The fried steak was okay but the gravy was damn awful. Things have gone downhill with the new staff they have employed. Do not waste your time going to this location after 6:30am. You will spend more than 30minutes waiting for your food, by the time you do receive your food, it will not be what you ordered! I placed a to go order, waited over 30minutes, just to find out when I got home that it was not the food I ordered! I drove all the way back to the dennys to complain to Kevin the "assistant manager". He was useless with addressing my concerns. I told him I wanted a refund, and I did not want the food remade. I already had wasted enough time waiting and driving back to the location. He did not know how to process a simple refund ! He had to call Elizabeth the manager over the phone to be guided on how to process-a refund. He still did not process the refund correctly! Instead, he charged my account twice. I talked with the manager Elizabeth on the phone telling her he processed two orders not a refund, she did not believe me. She kept insisting it was done correctly when it was not! She stated the refund will process to give it time. Two days pass, I check my account and sure enough the refund was never processed, instead the transaction posted on my account. Kevin clearly lacks experience in his role. Zero customer service. Does not know how to communicate effectively with costumers or show understanding for costumers complaints. I do believe he is incompetent for the position he was hired for. When I order food during graveyard hours (before 6am) with Curtis I never have a problem. Curtis is courteous, makes sure my order is made correctly, and i have the utensils/condiments needed. He sat our party quickly and then proceeded to ignore us for 20 minutes. He had about 5 tables, and in that 20 minutes only addressed 1 of the tables in the entire 20 minutes. He was slamming things, cursing, throwing menus. Basically having a temper tantrum. I don't know the situation, maybe he was supposed to be off already and his cover was late, maybe they had a lot of third party orders... who knows! Don't care. A quick table touch, waters to start and a 'I'll be with you as soon as I can' would've worked fine. I don't mind just enjoying my parties company and sipping on waters while a waiter catches up... This review is about the new Brisket Mac & Cheese dish. The service was 5 stars. The new Brisket Mac & Cheese was ok. It comes on a skillet BUT the skillet was cold. I have ordered many skillet meals and the skillet itself is always hot. The Mac & Cheese was like soup. There was hardly any macaroni in it. The cheese sauce was like water. It was only one layer not piled high like the menu pictures or the commercial. The brisket appeared to be an attempt at burnt ends. They were overcooked and a little tough. For $18 I was highly disappointed. This is just a rant but jeez a robot server! I asked my human server about it. If the human gets busy they put your meal on it and it brings it to you. When she brought out my salad she had to ask again what dressing I wanted and I had to wait for that. My husbands soup came out with his meal instead of coming out with my salad. I live relatively close to this Denny's. Sometimes after a night of gambling (usually losing), I get the munchies. This Denny's is clean and the staff is very friendly. I've never had any issues at this location. Also, I'm a member of their rewards program and this restaurant never gives me any slack when I try to use a coupon. There is ample parking also. Additionally, If I ask for any togo orders, they wrap and package the food very well. Thanks Denny's for being my go to diner! read more
